Another year, another attempt to blog.
The Macaron Juxtaposition Analysis.
Funny finding things that have been left sitting in my Drafts for the longest time-- one of those being a little macaron brand comparison I made during my Paris trip in 2013. Just silly little me pretending to be a ~connoisseur.
Just Bloggys reminding me to blog more. Well, I’m honored :) Operation Blog More attempt #2838756735, commence!
Some really cool, long-coveted books I got for Christmas! Major heart eyes for these.
Holidays, 2014.
Leisurely spent with family at our rest house, with overcast, cuddly mornings, hot marshmallow-filled, candy cane-dipped cocoa, long walks amongst flowers and fields when the sun finally came out, colorful conversations over hearty meals; slow, restful, lovely days.

(Look who finally found the time ;p)
Anonymous said:Â Hi! Have a nice day, Isobel! :)
Thanks! You have an awesome day :)
I'm alive!
A thousand apologies for neglecting this blog for such a long time; work has taken a whole lot of me (but I still love it nonetheless!). I've also been more active on Instagram, just because it has been easier, more convenient and immediate to snap a photo with my phone, and upload it right then and there. So if you feel inclined, do check me out :)
Despite that, I don't want my beloved Tumblr to be put to waste. I've invested so much here, and I'm even surprised (and humbled) when I get notifications of new followers and messages despite being so inoperative. I love you all already!
That said, I'll get to replying right away, and give another try to contributing to this wonderful Tumblr community when I can. Thank you for your patience. Y'all are incredibly lovely.
xx
PintĂ´'s beautiful exteriors.
Last week, as a post birthday present to myself, I (accompanied by my brother, carafunk and her brother)Â visited PintĂ´ Art Museum in Antipolo, after weeks of planning. I immediately fell in love with it! The collection was of course exceptional, but more than anything, I adored the architecture and the overall feel (which deserve separate posts, haha). Pinto easily falls in a spot in my top 3 favorite museums in the world.

Anonymous said: Hi Isobel! Do you use VSCO cam for Instagram? What filter do you always use? And how do you edit your other photos? I hope you could teach your followers how. :)
Yes, I love VSCO! I don't have a preferred filter; I experiment and play around with the other options (contrast, brightness, etc…), which I advise everyone to do as well. It's a fun trial-and-test thing :)
Recently, I've mostly only been using my iPhone to take photos, because it's just easier than toting around a heavy DSLR everywhere. Today, though, I was hit by a sudden wistfulness for it-- the feel of putting an eye against an actual lens, adjusting settings and turning knobs, looking at everyday things and capturing them in a different perspective... So I walked around the house and did just that. Here's me satisfying my itch :)
Lately.

Kudos on the great personality and good heart, but I'd personally go by the Half-Your-Age-Plus-Seven rule.
Last hurrah for summer.
Getty Museum, LA, California. My second favorite museum in the world, right after the Louvre.Â
The last day.
Waking up at 5am to wait for the sunrise-- priceless.
