I want to keep writing things about Gazerbeam.
But I've had writer's block for a while now; I need ideas. I'm thinking of reading a book of curiosities for inspiration.

Helen/Simon
I've been thinking and have some new insights into Simon.
I firmly believe Helen isn't the type of person to judge people without actually getting to know them, but I have the idea that Helen didn't trust Simon very much at first.
Helen and Simon met because Bob introduced them once at a lunch date. Gazerbeam already knew Elastigirl because she was one of the most popular superheroes at the time. Elastigirl knew Gazerbeam because he was a super hero who took off from the moment he debuted. They never spoke as such; they bumped into each other occasionally on missions, or sometimes glanced at each other when they happened to be stopping a villain, the usual. But as far as they knew each other, they didn't know each other. They met when Bob introduced them, but even then, knowing is a very big word, since they only introduced themselves and didn't exchange words for the rest of the night.
But during the whole era when supers were legal, Helen never liked Simon. She didn't judge him, she just didn't like him. Elastigirl used to hang out a lot with Apogee, Blazestone, Plasmabolt, and Stratogael. Needless to say, Apogee talked badly about Gazerbeam (although according to his NSA file, Apogee liked to find fault with people, and for some reason, when Simon brought in the awesome three, Apogee took it as a target for criticism, although of course they had their differences). Apogee used to talk really bad about Gazerbeam, he said he was very bossy, too "independent" to be part of a team, egocentric and so on, when Helen heard this, at first she didn't usually take it seriously since she knows how much Apogee likes to criticize people, but Helen was really struck by how much Apogee went out of her way to criticize him, she didn't understand where all that anger came from (I say "anger" because I highly doubt that Apogee felt hatred for Gazerbeam, they just had team problems, that's all), so although she didn't pay any attention to Apogee, she didn't ignore her either, after all she was her friend.
Helen noticed things that were somewhat true. When they got together for one thing or another (a mission or any battle in general), she noticed how Gazerbeam was more the type of super who acted on his own. Of course, he took others into account, but he focused mostly on the mission and reducing damage. Helen related that to what Apogee said about Gazerbeam being someone who didn't care about people at all, who only cared about himself.
When Elastigirl and Mister Incredible started being a couple, Apogee used to tell Elastigirl not to let Mister Incredible hang out with Gazerbeam so much, for reasons such as being selfish and so on.
Helen was starting to take Apogee's accusations a little seriously. She didn't judge Gazerbeam, but she didn't trust him either. It wasn't like she'd had much contact with him during their glory days, so it seemed she didn't care. But at the same time, because he was her boyfriend's friend, Helen didn't want Bob to have bad influences.
Helen would occasionally talk to Bob about it, to which Bob tried to convince her that Simon was a good guy. So, on one occasion, after a long day of stopping villains, Bob invited Frozone, Gamma Jack, Elastigirl, Gazerbeam, and Plasmabolt to eat at a very busy restaurant. This was only because he wanted Helen and Simon to get to know each other better. This was a complete fiasco, since the two only greeted each other and spent the entire night minding their own business.
It should be noted here that Elastigirl and Gazerbeam obviously did not know each other's secret identities. Although Elastigirl knew a very good lawyer recommended by the NSA, a lawyer who had helped her many times before with some lawsuits or small warnings from the court (it should be noted that Helen was sued very, very few times, but the few times she was sued, it was Simon J. Paladino who was assigned by the NSA to defend her), she knew that lawyer, not completely, only on a professional basis, but she liked him. He was kind, polite, quiet, and despite being a "simple civilian without powers," Helen liked to see his passion for helping people unconditionally.
When Helen learned that Simon was Gazerbeam, once Simon's helmet fell off on a mission after receiving a hard blow to the head that made him rethink the Pythagorean theorem, Helen looked at him in surprise, while he was just putting his helmet back on. Helen was confused. How was it that the kind lawyer was the selfish Gazerbeam? How was it that the clumsy and nerdy Simon j Paladino was the brave Gazerbeam? How was it that the lawyer who always thought about the common good was the same super who, according to Apogee, only thought about himself? (Simon didn't notice that Helen looked at him without the helmet, after all, he wasn't wearing his glasses and the place was dark, he couldn't really see anything).
(Yes, I have the idea that Simon had a great duality between his identity as a civilian and his identity as a super, Clark Kent type, Simon: a myopic, clumsy, introverted and nerdy lawyer, Gazerbeam: is still introverted, brave, calculating, and based on his powers many assumed he had incredible vision).
During the glory days, after the helmet incident, both were still not entirely friends, they were just super companions who exchanged words once every two centuries. They only got to know each other better after the ban on supers, when Bob could no longer hang out with his friends wearing the suit, because they simply began to meet with their civilian identities, after the passage of time, Bob introduced Jack and Simon to Helen with their civilian identities and also letting her know their identities as supers, Helen already knew Lucius so there was no reason to introduce him, and although Helen already knew Simon's identity, she just played along. As she got to know him more and more in his civilian life, she actually found him very nice, nothing like the nonsense that Apogee used to say about him, well, maybe he was right when he said that Simon was very boring and somewhat clumsy.
Although she was getting to know him little by little, she liked him quite a lot, but there was something that disconcerted her a lot, the eye contact, when Simon was Gazerbeam and wore the helmet, people couldn't really tell if Simon was looking at them or not, after all the visor of the helmet prevented it, but now, without the helmet, he was completely vulnerable, Helen didn't understand why Simon wouldn't look her in the eyes, at first she took it not as something personal but as something arrogant (peak observation), but then she realized that Simon not only didn't look her in the eyes, he also didn't look her husband in the eyes, or Jack, or Lucius, or anyone else. Which led her to wonder why, after asking Bob what was wrong with Simon, Helen understood things better, she stopped taking it personally when Simon didn't look her in the eyes.
The first few times Simon visited the Parr house, Helen noticed how Simon looked around, but very frantically, as if he were looking for a bomb or something. At first, Helen thought Simon was just judging the decor, as he looked at everything so quickly: first the sofa, then the coffee table, then the vase, the television, the window, the plants, his friends' shoes, the carpet—all in less than a minute. After that talk she had with Bob, Helen realized that Simon was just trying not to set fire to anything in the Parr house.
Helen also noticed how Lucius and Bob would occasionally complain about certain of Jack's behavior. In fact, they did so quite often, but Helen never heard them complain about any of Simon's behavior.
Helen hated how Lucius was her husband's pimp, always covering for his stupid behavior, which Simon didn't. Helen hated how Jack was always trying to pick up every girl wherever they went, which Simon didn't. Helen hated how her husband always talked nonsense whenever he got angry about her lack of self-control and anger issues, which Simon didn't.
So her question was, was everything Apopoeia said about him true? Yes, he was a nerd, a bit boring, distracted, and a little strange from time to time, but he was good, he wasn't selfish or arrogant, he wasn't rude, Simon always thought of his friends before himself. Helen wondered if she had done the right thing by not trusting him from the beginning, after all, he seemed like a good guy, a bit strange, but oh well.
Something that finally convinced Helen that Simon was a good man was when Bob invited Lucius, Jack and Simon to dinner at his house. Lucius arrived, then Jack and finally Simon, but the latter arrived barefoot, without shoes and without a jacket. Jack was dying of laughter asking him if he had been robbed or something, to which Simon only replied that he had given his shoes and his jacket to a homeless man he saw on the way to the Parr's house. The night was cold and seeing an old man living on the streets without shoes was unacceptable. Simon's socks were a little full of dirt from the soles of his feet, this indicated that he walked barefoot for a good stretch of the way. Bob and Lucius were not surprised since it was not the first time that Simon had arrived barefoot to a place for having given his shoes to homeless people who probably needed them more than him. Bob lent Simon some flip-flops so he wouldn't be barefoot in his house. He would have lent him some shoes, but come on, Bob's feet are twice as big as Simon's feet.
This was what convinced Helen that Simon was as noble as Bob had always said he was.
Simon J Paladino
- Simon wears knee-high socks, I have no proof but he doesn't doubt it either.
- He has read all the books that Everseer has written.
- He loves vintage jazz, he really likes jazz blues.
- He's basically blind without his glasses.
- I'm fascinated by the fact that it's said he comes from an Italian family, due to the origins of his last name. Based on this, I have a theory that, aside from being fluent in Italian, he shares many Italian customs, such as a love for foods with strong, pronounced flavors and fragrances or colognes with oak or tree aromas. He doesn't dislike, he ADORES, he LOVES pasta and spaghetti in all their forms.
- He doesn't like to wear accessories, just a simple watch, nothing more.
- He doesn't usually take off his glasses because if he does, he doesn't remember where he left them.
- Hates loud noises
- He's been in several car accidents while driving at night, nothing serious, just a few collisions or broken headlights, no injuries or anything like that.
- He has a thin and tall build. He's not as robust as other heroes.
- He greatly admires the bodies of Universal Man, Hypershock, and Downburst. He thinks they look too good, tall, robust, strong. He thinks their appearance makes them look imposing and tough, not as big and enormous as Mister Incredible (who doesn't think Mister Incredible looks bad, he simply thinks he is VERY big, too much). On the other hand, Universal Man, Hypershock, and Downburst are big, not BIG in the sense of BIG, but strong in the sense of big. Simon is not short or weak, he's tall, but thin, not skinny or flabby, just thin, that's his conception, he exercises and everything, but it's in his genetics to be thin. He envies the bodies of Universal Man, Hypershock, and Downburst, he wishes he could look like them.
- Because of this, I have the idea that Simon asked Bob if they could train together, as the four of them used to train together: Jack, Simon, Lucius, and Bob. But Simon wanted more muscle, he wanted to gain mass and volume, and he also asked him for a diet or eating plan he could start following to look bigger. Bob finds him adorable but doesn't like the way he pushes himself too hard. Bob insists there's nothing wrong with his conception.
- Simon has a ruthless sense of justice as well as a tremendous sense of kindness.
- On more than one occasion, I've ended up arguing with other Supers over disagreements regarding "lethality with villains." There are Supers who tend to be too aggressive with villains or use excessive force when it's not necessary, hurting them even when they're no longer a threat. Gazerbeam is more merciful, like some other Supers, but there are Supers like Mister Incredible, Gamma Jack, Hypershock, and Blazestone.
Facts:
- Hypersock doesn't always intentionally hurt people. He controls his powers well, but he can't control the side effects, such as collapses, fallen poles, and the like. The side effects of his powers are what usually hurt people the most, not him. Although when he's drunk, he often hits people with his hammers, and sometimes, he doesn't moderate his strength in doing so. On more than one occasion, he has rendered some thieves or villains unconscious by hitting them on the head.
- Blazestone: Yes, her powers can cause large fires and such, but other than that, she's also very physically aggressive with villains. Mainly scratches. Although she fights well, she also likes to fight dirty.
- Mister Incredible: Well, there's not much to say about him, he usually breaks bones.
- Gamma Jack, I realize people often label him as a "possible villain," when in reality he was just an immature idiot. Still, he didn't usually measure up much to villains or thieves. Something very common he used to do was grab the thief by a leg or arm and lift him meters into the air while he flew to scare him, saying things like "I'll drop you from here to see if you end up as a picture on the ground" or similar things. I'd say it was just to scare them. Yes, most of the time it was just to scare them, but every now and then he would drop them, usually when he was in a bad mood or something like that. Every time he answered that, Gazerbeam was always on the floor, looking up, watching how Jack scared the thieves, he always tried to talk to him so he would bring them down without hurting them, but Jack loves to annoy people, especially someone as calm as Simon, Jack liked to see how Simon got upset every time he did that, even from time to time Jack used to drop the villains on purpose to see how Simon ran to catch them so they wouldn't get hurt.
- Based on what I've read, regarding Simon coming from an Italian family, I like to think that since Italian is his mother tongue, he speaks it from time to time, sometimes when he's scared, when he's very angry, or when he's very tired. None of his friends have heard him speak Italian, only Lucius. Once, Simon was too tired, almost overcome with sleep, sitting in one of the ANS armchairs while they waited for some documents that Dicker had to deliver to them. Jack and Bob had already left because they had already received their documents. Lucius wanted to make some conversation due to the long silence that had formed, getting an answer in Italian, a very tired Italian. Lucius just stayed silent, staring with wide eyes, not understanding. Simon reacted a few seconds later, embarrassed, quickly responding in Spanish, apologizing. But OBVIOUSLY Lucius wasn't going to let that detail go unnoticed, to which he insisted that Simon explain to him what that had been.
interaction of supers
I've been reading a lot about supers lately, and I'm so fascinated by how they complement each other in their daily lives, both as supers. I've been reading fanfics and stories about them. I love the fact that they highlight such small, minuscule things about the characters, such tiny details that seem insignificant but are so fascinating to me because they speak volumes about the character, about how they think and react both internally and externally. This is all based on conclusions I've made from everything I've read. There are probably things here that you've already read in some story out there. JUST THE SMALL THINGS ABOUT SUPERS ARE INCREDIBLE.
I've read stories about them lately, and GOD! I have so much to say. This will be about how the supers see each other and think about each other, not just the four friends, but also a few other supers involved in this.
-Bob doesn't like Falange very much. He talks and jokes with him from time to time, but he's not someone he'd willingly hang out with or socialize with. He occasionally makes somewhat harassing comments about his personal hygiene, but it's true. Falange doesn't even bother washing his suit. Besides, Bob thinks Falange's power is somewhat unconventional.
- Lucius and Blazestone stopped talking to each other completely after their failed relationship, they wanted to pretend to be the typical "fire and ice" relationship, they thought it would be something innovative, they got carried away by the desire to get people's attention, they hoped that people would react to them the same way they did to Mister Incredible and Elastigirl's relationship, and indeed, that was how people reacted, but let's just say that the two of them couldn't tolerate each other, beyond that, let's just say that Lucius couldn't tolerate Blazestone's "heat", if you know what I mean. After they broke up, Blazestone called Frozone a pedantic and arrogant person with her super friends, which is why Frozone had this reputation in the heroine community for a while. Frozone didn't usually talk about the subject with his friends since, for a while, he truly loved her even though their relationship was a "social" issue in the first place. For a long time, it broke Lucius's heart to hear the way Blazestone spoke about him. From time to time, he heard gossip about how she called him "ice idiot" or "her power freezes his blood and that's why blood doesn't circulate to his head."
- Jack and Bob used to make fun of Thunderhead from time to time because of his low intellect, to which Lucius and Simon just looked at them with disgust while doing it. Thunderhead, yes, he was not the brightest, but he was not stupid either; he occasionally listened to how other supers expressed themselves about him, normally he used to pretend that he did not hear anything, but deep down it hurt him, he knew he was not the smartest, but he was cunning and resourceful. On one occasion, during a meeting, he heard Mister Incredible and Gamma Jack laughing at him because he did not know how to add 78 and 34 dollars, he felt very embarrassed but hid it with a couple of laughs. Changing the subject, Thunderhead relates quite well with the younger supers, after all, he loves children and children love him, he has a protective and warm aura, it is quite comforting for children and even for some supers. I also have the idea that he is a cookie monster, his children love baking and always make all kinds of desserts, especially cookies, there is not a day that Thunderhead does not eat his children's cookies, he loves them, but sometimes he gets sick of them, but he can't throw them away, he hates throwing away food, besides, he could never throw away something that his children made with so much love for him.
-Gazerbeam has always admired Everseer greatly. Simon has read every single book Everseer has ever written, both "SHUT UP! CALMING YOUR INNER VOICE" and "BE CAREFUL! THE INVISIBLE DANGERS OF THE MICROSCOPIC WORLD." Simon loves his books, and when he joined the Ghostbusters team and found out Everseer wrote them, God, no one noticed through his helmet's visor, but his eyes lit up like two bright suns. Even though they never understood each other in the end and ended up having problems, Simon always admired him greatly. At one point, Simon envies Everseer. His power of telepathy was something Simon longed to have so he could understand people. Simon always thought that Everseer understood people perfectly (something that was false), but Simon thought so and envied him since he was aware that the main cause of his problems with people was the fact that he could not understand them perfectly. Knowing that Everseer could read minds and had clairvoyance, Gazerbeam would occasionally stop to think "Could I be the problem? Am I really as much of a nuisance as they say I am?" Because, although he did not agree with many of Everseer's accusations, Gazerbeam was aware that Everseer could see things that he could not. Although he did not always agree with Everseer, he did not completely question it either since he knew that usually in the long run, Everseer would be right about some things.
Note: I'll see how these new concepts stick and write more.
Do you think superheroes are ticklish? Do Bob and his three friends often play with him? Do they tickle each other?
Oh, interesting. I'd thought about normal events or situations between them in their everyday lives or funny anecdotes from their missions, but I hadn't stopped to think about your question.
Even though they're superhuman, they're still human as such, so I think they're just as susceptible to tickling as any average person. It's funny to think they often have tickle fights with each other. I don't know, maybe during training or just at a random moment.
Jack: I think he'd be the most ticklish of the four. His weak spot is his hips. He clearly won't admit it even if he's being tickled to bits. I think he'd be the one most likely to get picked on about it. Considering how annoying it is, I think the moment he gets to the point of making a tasteless comment, one of his three friends will usually poke him in the ribs or squeeze his knee to make him shut up or not say anything reckless. Being the youngest of the four, his three friends find it cute to see him protest when they tickle him. Lucius is the one who usually bothers him the most; sometimes he's simply caught off guard. Their tickle fights are usually a bit aggressive and playful, and Lucius does it just for the sake of annoying him. Bob on the other hand, only tickles Jack when he's being really annoying, just to get him to relax a bit and stop being reckless, Jack hates it when Bob tickles him since, needless to say, Bob is stronger than any of the 4 friends, Bob only takes Jack's arms and immobilizes him to torment him more easily, Bob is a terrifying predator, he's ruthless, but not because he has the intention of being so, he just thinks everyone is too delicate or something like that, plus he finds them adorable.
Bob doesn't realize how ruthless he can be, he doesn't realize how much he's tormenting someone until that person runs out of air or starts crying. He doesn't mean to; he doesn't realize he's going too far; he just finds his prey adorable, which is usually Jack. Jack hates that; when Bob grabs him by the arms, Jack knows he's lost, but he finds it himself. Simon doesn't usually tickle Jack as such; at most, he pokes him in the ribs or sides when he's being rude. Jack often tickles others to annoy them, just like Lucius. They're both the same type of people who use tickling to joke or annoy someone. The difference between the two is that Jack is very annoying and doesn't respect boundaries, while Lucius is more of a playful person. Lucius knows when he's going too far and stops. Jack gets very nervous when tickled, but beyond that, he gets angry and starts kicking and punching, so much so that on more than one occasion, Bob has ended up with a bruise on his chin or groin from a blow from Jack. Jack is the type of person who squirms a lot, like a worm in salt; his laugh is shrill and raucous, and he often screams a lot.
Lucius: He is ticklish but not as much as Jack, his weak spots are his ribs and stomach. He usually has constant tickle fights with Bob, fights that Bob usually ends up winning, clearly. Lucius doesn't squirm that much, he tries to fight, more than laughing he lets out moans and huffs. He is not aggressive, but he puts up a lot of resistance. He and Bob often have tickle fights, which are more about just playing around with each other than actually tickling each other, the fight ends when Lucius yells at Bob to stop or he will freeze them both.
Oh! A very interesting fact, I think that Lucius very often freezes Jack's hands behind his back so that he can't defend himself while Lucius tickles him, but Jack frees himself very easily because he melts the ice with his radiation, to which Lucius just refreezes his hands again and again while attacking different parts of Jack. They usually have a lot of fun in their fights, both are playful and have a lot of resistance to physical stimulation compared to Simon. Oh friend, when Jack and Lucius join forces to attack the poor nearsighted man, it is really entertaining for both of them, Lucius does not usually freeze Simon's hands like he does with Jack, although the 4 friends get along very well with each other, they are not so heavy between the 4 in general, they know how to get along with each other, Lucius and Bob get along quite well and play quite heavy between the two of them, although Bob clearly moderates himself a lot for obvious reasons, between Lucius and Jack they get along wonderfully, although they usually have their differences, they love to play with each other, both are very energetic and playful; between Simon and Lucius, they get along very well, both are calm and relaxed, they do not usually get along very heavy or rough with each other, although Lucius would like to, he knows that Simon is not a person who enjoys heavy company, so he moderates himself a bit compared to Bob and Jack, but that does not mean that he stops being the same when it comes to playing. Usually when he and Jack team up to attack Simon, Lucius is the first to say when to stop when he notices that it's too much for Simon, unlike Jack, who is a little more ruthless compared to Lucius.
Lucius isn't nervous about tickling; on the contrary, he really enjoys this type of interaction between his friends. He thinks it's a good way to improve the relationship between the four of them. He's not grumpy when tickled, nor does he react aggressively like Jack does when he gets overwhelmed.
Bob: Oh friend, Bob is a tickle monster. He's not very ticklish actually, he's a little ticklish all over his torso, just a little, but friend, it's almost impossible to tickle him unless he wants to, he can neutralize any of his friends with great ease, normally when Jack and Lucius team up to attack him, they both end up gasping for air because Bob destroys them both with tickles, no matter how well the two of them organize to attack Bob, they never achieve anything, they only manage to neutralize them both and destroy them one by one.
Once, when Jack and Lucius wanted to attack him from behind, Bob took an arm from each of them and lifted them both in the air with one hand, that is, with one hand, he grabbed one of Lucius's wrists and one of Jack's and lifted them both so that their feet could not touch the ground, with his other hand, he began to scribble on Jack's stomach and then Lucius's stomach, taking turns one by one, Jack and Lucius both had one hand free with which they tried to push away Bob's hand when it approached to tickle them, but please, it is impossible to overcome Mister Incredible's strength, even if you want to push one of his hands away, you won't be able to even if you try. Bob held them in the air for 15 minutes as they laughed every time Bob came near their stomachs, which was enough time to exhaust both of them. Bob would have continued for longer but he didn't want to hurt the arm that was holding them in the air, or for them to hurt themselves from twisting around so much.
Bob doesn't mind being tickled, but it's impossible to do. The only people who've ever been able to tickle him have been Helen and her children.
Bob is aware of his strength and the last thing he wants is to hurt anyone, much less a friend. He usually avoids playing aggressively with his friends, but sometimes he lets himself go. When he tickles his friends, he's usually very careful not to be too rough, as he doesn't want to break someone's ribs. But the strength of his touch and the size of his hands are enough to drive anyone crazy. Bob is a walking threat, except he doesn't know it; he just thinks his friends are overly sensitive.
He enjoys tickling Lucius. With Jack, he tends to use it more as a punishment than a toy. With Simon, well, it rarely happens, but when it does, he's not usually as ruthless as with Jack and Lucius, except for the first time. By the first time, I mean the first time Bob tickled Simon, which was a total disaster.
Simon: Simon is very nervous, too much so, but he's not as sensitive compared to Jack. It seems as if Simon is overly sensitive, but that's because he's so unused to that kind of touch or stimuli; they're new to him, and he doesn't know exactly how to react or control himself.
His sensitive spot is practically every part of his body. He's not very sensitive compared to his friends, but he's ticklish everywhere; it seems as if he's the most ticklish kid there is, but he's not; that's Jack. It's just that Simon isn't used to tickling compared to his friends. Plus, he gets very nervous, too nervous, and turns red as a ripe tomato. Jack hides it pretty well; despite being the most sensitive of the four, Simon isn't good at hiding his nervousness. He doesn't scream or snort; he just laughs, a harsh, deep laugh, and squeals a little when he's tickled for too long in the same place.
He doesn't get grumpy or anything like that. His friends don't usually tickle him often, mainly so as not to overwhelm him. The first time he was tickled was during training, precisely, it was Bob who did it. They were training, normally they take turns in pairs to have physical strategy fights, on that occasion, Simon was paired with Bob, Simon knew that the battle was lost and specifically, anyone who faces Bob in physical combat is lost, having the strength of an average person or a little above average, it is still impossible to face Bob. In reality, Simon did not try hard to fight or defend himself, there was not much to do facing Bob after all. Bob knocked him down with great ease and subdued him on the ground, landing on top of him and immobilizing his hands, Simon just surrendered without protesting but Bob was annoyed that he didn't even try. When Simon gave up, Bob told him to at least make an effort to escape, to which Simon just said no and that he gave up. Then Bob, who was still on top of Simon, put Simon's hands above his head, holding them with one hand and said "Oh yeah? And what will you do if a villain has you trapped like this and tries to do something to you? Something like this" said Bob as he began to poke Simon's ribs one by one, which caused Simon to laugh automatically. Bob fell in love with that laugh. It was rare to hear Simon laugh, and even rarer that it was a laugh like that, it was the first time they heard that laugh from him, Jack and Lucius watched from afar, just as in love as Bob was with Simon's laughter. He could only kick and struggle in Bob’s grip, this was something completely new to Simon and although he seemed to be enjoying it with his loud laughter, he was actually panicking, as I mentioned, Bob’s strong touch and big hands can drive anyone crazy, even someone as sane as Simon. It was a new and very terrifying experience for Simon, he couldn’t get a single word out between his laughter, he felt the strong brush of Bob’s fingers on each of his ribs, not one left unpricked, when Bob’s hand reached Simon’s side, near his stomach, Bob was fascinated with this new discovery about his friend, so focused on Simon’s laughter that he didn’t notice his laughter started to turn into squeals and gasps when Bob spent a long time tormenting his side, until Lucius approached Bob touching his shoulder and telling him to stop. It was cute watching Simon try to recover from that for an hour.
After that, the attacks from his friends began to be more frequent, mainly from Lucius and Jack, obviously these two didn't want to be left behind. Simon doesn't mind, but he would prefer if they didn't, even though he finds it cute, when they tickle him he feels like their laser eyes are about to fire at any second, so he closes his eyes with all his strength while they tickle him, which makes him more vulnerable by not being able to defend himself because he can't see where the hands that attack him will come from. They try not to be too ruthless with him, but they love to see him so out of himself that it's inevitable.
When one of the four friends is sad, do they usually comfort each other? What is the way they cheer each other up?
Of course, it's normal for them to get sad from time to time. After all, they have to deal with a lot of things being young, and juggling their super life and their civilian life can be complicated at times.
Jack is the one who tends to get the most irritated from time to time. In reality, he tends to get sad, but he disguises it as anger. Jack often receives a lot of praise from his female fans, but let's just say he's not very well-regarded among the super community for his behavior. He occasionally receives rude comments from other supers, to which he just starts a fight and pretends not to care. But he does care. A lot. Sometimes the negative comments other supers make him really get to him, although he hides it very well. Since Bob, Lucius, and Simon are the ones who spend the most time with him, they notice how Jack gets discouraged from time to time, although he also tries to hide it when he's with them. They notice his sudden change in mood, how he suddenly goes quiet and doesn't make his typical off-color comments. It's rare for Jack to be quiet without saying something stupid.Bob tries to make some jokes to cheer him up. Lucius, although he knows it's not the most appropriate thing to do, tries to say things like "look! A pretty girl" or things like that to get him out of his discouraged state. Simon is more the type of person who asks him directly if he's okay, which clearly Jack answers that he feels GREAT with a very marked sarcasm that Simon can't quite perceive, but he knows that "I feel great" isn't entirely true. They rarely manage to get Jack to talk about how he feels about all those comments he receives or some other event outside of his super life, but when he does, he talks too much, says what they told him, how he feels or what he thinks about it, very surreptitiously says how sad he is about the insults he receives from other supers when he's only trying to do the best he can as a super. His three friends tell him how important he is and that while he needs to moderate himself from time to time, he also doesn't have to give importance to people's hurtful comments. He is difficult to deal with, even more so because he feels bad about comments from people who are sometimes somewhat right. His friends try to make him know that he needs to see things from another perspective, but when they see that he is very discouraged, they only try to make him feel better with words of support about how incredible or talented he is, comments that he usually ignores when he is very absorbed in his thoughts.
Bob, on the other hand, as is shown very frequently throughout the films, is a very expressive man. He shows his anger as well as his sadness. He doesn't hide it or hold anything back. When he gets sad, mainly and very frequently over personal issues (I think that in his younger days, Bob didn't usually get along well with his parents, which led to many arguments), Bob would always show up with his friends and tell them why he was sad or discouraged. There was no need to ask him; he would just show up and start telling them everything. He's never had any problems expressing himself, especially with his friends, who always listen to him attentively, even though he can be a little irrational at times. They always offer support, but mainly they listen. Bob is the kind of person who relaxes while he explains what has him so overwhelmed. Lucius always tells him that the best thing he can do is try to organize his thoughts first before acting, since that way he'll act more clearly and even feel better while he reasons. Jack always makes comments about how he shouldn't feel bad about minorities like his parents, which clearly angers Bob since he doesn't consider his parents minorities, which usually sparks a small argument between Bob and Jack. Simon just listens to him and usually asks key questions, always validating every word Bob says where he specifies if he feels one way or another. Bob is very good at expressing himself, although sometimes he is a little aggressive when doing so, he gets too exasperated, shouting or frustrated, when he is very sad he usually asks many rhetorical questions about whether he is the one who is wrong or if he is to blame for something or another, when his sadness is too much, it shows in his countenance, he no longer has that usual sympathetic look, he usually shrugs or hunches.
Lucius is a bit more withdrawn; he tends to withdraw when he's sad, diverting his attention from the issue that has him that way. He thinks that if he doesn't give it any importance, it will pass little by little. He seems irritated when he's sad; he doesn't usually have that flirtatious smile or that confident tone in his voice. Even if Bob talks to him, he can't get much information out about it. Lucius only ends up letting out his feelings when he feels he can't handle them anymore. This happens at any time, whether he's with the three of them, or just one of them, it doesn't matter. He normally lets out his feelings when the four of them are together, but there have been situations in which the feelings overwhelm him too much and he ends up talking about them with any of the three who are nearby at the moment. Usually it's with Bob, in various situations, but more frequently when they're patrolling alone, rarely with Jack, and at most when it's not something so important. He doesn't like the advice Jack usually gives him. And with Simon, well, Simon isn't very good at understanding people, but he's a good listener. When Lucius doesn't want to be criticized and just wants to be heard, he seeks Simon out. Lucius is very expressive; he's direct and precise. He rarely lets his emotions get the better of him, but when he does, it's a flood of tears. He's very sentimental, even though he tries to hide it.
Simon, just as it is difficult for him to understand people, also has a hard time understanding himself, which might not seem like a problem, but it really is. Sometimes he tends to feel sad, but he doesn't know how to communicate it. Simon truly admires Bob's great ability to express himself; when he hears Bob vent or express himself, Simon listens because he cares about him, but he also analyzes it, trying to understand how Bob can make it seem so easy when for him it is so confusing. Simon is aware of what he feels but has a hard time understanding why; he cannot relate his feelings with the cause of those feelings. He knows that every action has a reaction, but sometimes he doesn't relate why such simple actions on people's part can make him feel so bad, so he just assumes that his mind or heart is exaggerating his feelings. Simon is always quiet and has a serious expression, it is rare to know what he feels most of the time, since on his own he is very inexpressive. The times that his friends have managed to know that he is sad, it is because they ask him how he is or how he is, not because he looks sad or anything (since I emphasize again that he is very inexpressive, it is not as if the sadness is noticeable, or any other emotion as such), they simply ask casually, like when you run into your friend at school or work and after greeting him, you ask him the typical question how he is or how his day has been. To which Simon answers this question with total sincerity, replying that he is sad or that he simply does not feel well. He answers briefly, without giving details, it is a simple "I'm sad" or maybe "I don't feel well", short and precise, with that usual monotonous tone. The first time Simon gave that answer to the casual question of how he felt, his 3 friends thought he was being sarcastic since he said it in his usual dry, monotonous tone. After a couple of seconds of silence, they noticed he wasn't being sarcastic, to which they asked him what was going on, he just gave a short and dry answer, in his usual tone, an answer like "I've been having problems with my family lately," or something like that, completely to the point and without details; Simon can't vent on his own; he needs to be asked constant questions since he doesn't know what to say on his own. While he's talking, he doesn't seem sad or discouraged, just quite anxious. He looks around quickly. He looks at the ceiling, the table, the floor, his hands, his shoes, the door, and the window in less than 20 seconds. His eyes scan the entire room about 30 times a minute while he's talking. It's as if he's following a fly or a mosquito with his eyes or something like that. His friends notice how anxious he gets while he answers their questions about what's making him sad. He doesn't seem sad, but he seems strange, more so than usual. He's a difficult person to read body language compared to his friends, but as long as they ask him direct questions, he'll answer them with complete honesty. They usually cheer him up by giving him chocolates; they don't help much, but he appreciates it a lot.
Do you have a headcanon of the 4 friends?
Yes! Of course. Some are just ideas of situations I think they might have had as friends in their civilian and super lives, during missions, during stakeouts, or on casual outings, etc. Others are thoughts or opinions about each other. I like to form ideas about what they were like and how they related to each other, but I don't like to conclude anything I'm not sure about, such as what they thought exactly about Gamma Jack, whether Simon had a partner or not, whether the relationship between Blazestone and Frozone was serious or not, etc. I like to conclude things that I know don't affect the plot at all—simple casual events like arguments, jokes, possible relationships, failed missions, and so on.
- Gamma Jack never thought Gazerbeam would be a first-class super. The day he saw them in the cafeteria, he thought, "He's just a nerd, he won't last a second on a mission." I think that thought wasn't so much due to Jack's egocentrism, but because he saw Simon as someone shy, with a sad, withdrawn expression. Based on that, Jack didn't think Simon had potential; he simply saw him as a bookworm. Clearly, that thought changed over the course of a few months. He even began to see Simon as a role model, a thought they clearly didn't share with anyone.
- (This is based on how I observed their appearances in the film and the NSA files.) Simon is the oldest of the four, followed by Bob, then Lucius, and finally Jack. (I couldn't say their exact ages considering the movie spans different eras, but an estimate would be: ), Simon is 3 years older than Bob, Bob is 1 year older than Lucius, and Lucius is 2 years older than Jack.
Examples:
* Simon: 31
* Bob: 28
* Lucius: 27
* Jack: 25
- Bob often thinks that the constant disagreements between Jack and Simon are due to the age difference between them. Bob is aware that he's not that far behind Jack or Simon, since Bob is actually only three years older than Jack and only three years younger than Simon. Because of this, Bob understands Jack a little, and he understands Simon a little. In the same way, he understands why Simon and Jack don't understand each other, since the age difference between Simon and Jack is six years, which doesn't seem like much either, but you can learn a lot in six years of life, and you can also forget a lot in six years. Well, at least that's what Bob thinks, although he's also aware that they have different morals.
- Jack is a very bad drinker. He doesn't usually get that drunk, but when he does, he's unbearable. Lucius on the other hand, when he's drunk, tends to be more flirtatious than usual, Bob doesn't usually fully control his strength and whenever he gets drunk he accidentally destroys the bar in bars when leaning, and Simon, well, he doesn't drink.
- Jack, Lucius, and Bob often hide Simon's glasses so he can take breaks, something they stopped doing so often once Simon tripped on the stairs due to his vision loss and couldn't find his glasses.
- Fears: Lucius is afraid of lightning. There's no apparent reason, just the sudden gunshot-like noise that brings him out of his lucid state and terrifies him. Bob is afraid of the mascots and inflatable dolls that are usually featured in commercials. It's a fear he's had since childhood, an irrational fear. Jack is afraid of spiders, like 70% of the world, a fairly common fear at any age. Simon is afraid of the dark. As indicated in his NSA file, he has poor night vision due to his nearsightedness. If he doesn't have his glasses on at night or in a dark place, he is practically blind.
How they learned about each other's fears:
Bob already knew about Lucius's fear because Lucius had mentioned it to him a long time ago. Simon and Jack noticed it once when Thunderhead was in action fighting a villain, unleashing a violent storm with thunder and lightning. They noticed how Lucius wasn't as focused as usual, and they even noticed how every time a thunderclap or lightning struck, Frozone would jump as if he were being electrocuted and look around in fear and terror. No one commented on it so as not to upset him.
The three of them realized Bob's fear of the mascots once they went to the mall to buy snacks to watch a basketball game at Lucius's house, at the entrance of the mall there was a mascot of a children's cartoon character cheering and playing with a couple of children who seemed very happy to see the mascot, compared to Bob who just stood petrified looking at the mascot, his three friends did not realize that Bob had stayed several steps behind until they were almost at the entrance of the mall, when they turned around in search of his 2-meter friend, they saw how he was almost 5 meters away from them, paralyzed and with an expression of disgust that seemed more like panic as he watched the mascot, instead of watching the basketball game, they spent several hours listening to Bob explain why the mascots have scared him a lot since he was little.
As for Jack, it was quite funny, they were on a night watch in the city, near an abandoned building, distributed in different strategic points in case of an emergency, until they heard a scream, from Jack to be precise, it was not a scream of pain, nor of anguish, but of panic and instant fright, Gazerbeam, Mister Incredible and Frozone went as quickly as possible to where their handsome friend was, worried thinking that something bad had happened to him, only to arrive and find him one meter from the ground, holding his legs and his cape so that a spider that was on the floor would not climb on him, it was humiliating for him.
Simon, on the other hand, has had his friends notice his poor night vision over time, mainly during surveillance or night missions. But they learned of his fear of the dark once the 4 of them had to stay overnight in some rooms at the NSA due to some records they finished filling out very late at night, to which Dicker told them to stay in some rooms that are for resting in the NSA and to leave in the morning, they decided to sleep the 4 of them in a single room to have a "sleepover", when they were about to sleep, they noticed how Simon left on a lamp that was on a coffee table, Lucius got up to turn it off, after 10 minutes, Simon got up quietly to turn it on, after another 10 minutes, the light seemed to bother Jack which he got up to turn it off, a few more minutes passed before Simon got up again to turn it on again timidly, Bob asked him if he needed the light on for something to which he just ducked his head and said no and if they could simply leave it on to sleep, noticing the shyness in his voice, no one objected, no one spoke about the subject but everyone noticed it.
4 friends.
(Sorry for the poor writing, my English is not very good.)
Bob, Lucius, Jack, Simon.
Since they relocated the Supers after they had to be hidden, many lost contact between them, at most those who used to be good close friends continued to join for a while, until the same time and distance made them stop knowing one of the others, after all they spent 15 years.
In addition, some had to be relocated to a lot of times, such as Bob for example, not being able to hide their powers well or their secret identity, it was clearly discovered an endless time, relocated endlessly, changing the name of another endless. Not only Bob was relocated several times, Universal Man
also, it is not necessary to specify the reason, his great attachment to his identity as Super, did not allow him to leave it aside even when they were illegal, it was very complicated for the ANS to deal with him.
Simon usually knew every time Bob was relocated. Simon used to help with some relocations and papeleos of the ANS, had to be informed about the rights of supers and the new reforms and swaps that were made for them, this to know how to act and intense for them during the judgments and others. When prohibition against supers, there were a lot of relocations, without counting the work of demands and fines towards the supers that had to be solved. When things were relaxing a little after the prohibition of
Supers, and with all relocated, with new identities, new works and others, occasionally there were one or another relocation, usually of incredible mister, Universal Man, Blazestone, Gamma Jack, rarely Fironic, among others.
Every time Bob and Jack were relocated, Simon learned. Lucius was only relocated twice compared to the other two friends.
The 4 friends were still getting together from time to time, until once Jack was relocated to a very distant area from where they were initially, an area without so much concentration of people to reduce the index of people harmed by degenerative cancer, generated by the high concentrations that Jack's body issued for the time he had to keep his power withholding. Although they continued visiting him from time to time, the area was very distant, as the years passed, the visits with Jack were decreasing, not for anything specifically, things just happened, Bob had married Helen and had a daughter, he now had many more responsibilities, keeping his family, dealing with his baby supers that became invisible from nothing, keeping his relationship with Helen It was very complicated to him, Lucius was starting his relationship with Nenna and had started a career model while still working as a small bus Participating in campaigns, courts, meeting with philanthes and businessmen interested with the initiative to return the supers again, all without success but he did not give up. Jack, in his new area of relocation, was busy knowing new people, in his new work, adapting to new people in their environment, avoiding canceling someone, flirting with beautiful girls, etc.
Bob stopped visiting him as often as before since he had to spend more time to his family, he had to prevent his premature marriage with Helen Sphrequent fights that used to have each other. Lucius continued to visit him but not as often as usual for his new work, although Nenna had no problem that Lucius visited Jack to such distant distancies, Nenna never finished please Jack for her personality, in addition to that Jack was a womanizer, she was known thus both among the community of Supers and among her friends, and among the wives of her friends. Nenna in a very safe woman of herself, but that company never liked her husband. Over time, the visits with Jack were decreasing, passing once every fortnight, to go once a month, then once every two months, then once a year, until the visits decreased in their entirety.
Simon visited him constantly, perhaps not as often, but he continued to do so. He and Jack were always very good friends, despite their differences. They learned a lot from each other. Jack learned from Simon not to be hasty, not to be so reckless (he was still reckless, but at least now he thought a little before he spoke). Simon learned not to be affected or bothered by the opinions of others (although other people's opinions did matter, but from time to time he would influence people's comments). They may be very different, but they complement each other. Jack had things that Simon needed, and Simon had things that Jack needed.
Although they never really liked each other, and they both knew it, they still continued to seek each other out. Lucius and Bob, as if they had known each other, never parted ways. Of the four friends, these two were the first to meet; then they met Jacky, including him and then Simon. But Lucius and Bob were the first, and to this day they remain together. Despite the anti-superhero rule and the countless moves Bob and his family made, Lucius and Bob always stayed together, struggling to see when, but they always saw each other again.
Bob, Lucius, and Simon hung out occasionally, but most of the time it was just Bob and Lucius, as Simon was usually busy with his work as an activist. Bob always held Simon in high regard; his greatest wish was to be a superhero, to see how his friend Simon fought so hard to make that dream a reality; in fact, Bob admired him greatly. Bob always wondered why Simon wouldn't budge on his campaigns and activist participation in the conference to legalize Supers. Even as the years passed and the Supers topic was increasingly sidelined, Simon remained, steadfast as a rock. Bob never understood exactly why; he knew he and Simon had something in common: they were both stubborn and headstrong. Maybe that's why.
After 4 years of the prohibition of the Supers, 4 years that Simon continues to defend the rights of the Supers, Simon had to move from Metroville for personal reasons, it was silent not far from Metroville but if at a quite considerable distance to visit him very often, of his new location to reach Metroville, an estimate of 12 hours was ran into a car, even further that where they relocated to Jack. Therefore, they losing contact with Simon little by little. He used to meet with Bob and Lucius from time to time when Simon went to Metroville for legal matters, but they were quite hurried meetings, being visiting Metroville for legal matters, he had not long for other things, not even for his friends, but really fed those hurried outings with them to take coffee or go to dinner. Over time, Simon could no longer visit so often Metaville and his friends could not visit him by the huge distance, and little by little the contact was completely lost with him. From time to time there were calls, voicemates, letters. But over time every contact ended, there were no letters, calls or voicemates. That always happens with good friends, right? They are just temporary.
Very little Jack was known occasionally and only when he called on the phone, and another little of Simon in the long run when he used to appear in the newspaper or news.
I have the Headcanon that Bob and Jack used to save all the periods in which Simon used to appear. Bob kept them in his attic Jack in a box where he had an endless books that Simon used to give him. Derived from this, I also have the Headcanon that when Simon disappeared (canonically Simon disappeared before Jack and Mister incredible were taken to the island, therefore, these two, including Lucius, learned of Simon's disappearance in the newspaper.) Jack and Bob read the newspaper where Simon's disappearance was announced, both kept that newspaper.
heavy training
The boys usually train from time to time in areas of the ANS specially designated for the training of super.
Needless to say, he accidentally sent his training opponent flying. This week it was Simon turn hahaha.
What happened to Gazerebam before the cave?
I have read a lot about what could have happened with each of the supers deceived by Syndrome, as they could have died, as they were persuaded and others.
But something that I have been thinking very lately is, not how Gazerbeam died, because I think it is clear to us that it was for a horrifying mortal wound in his abdomen that I did not cause death instantly, but died from the bleeding that the same wound generated, little by little, slowly, giving him enough time to think about his friends, both those who had already died on that same is for being deceived.
The wound of his abdomen was large, heartbreaking, he had drilled the skin, torn tendons, crossed organs, was lethal, was lethal, the blood ran as if it were a water tap, death by bleeding is slow, long.
I read medical documents where death is discussed by bleeding, many things are specified such as:
- The body begins little by little to feel immense weakness.
- An Atlantic cold begins to sprout from the wound area to the tip of the feet and the head of the head.
- The view becomes blurred.
- Breathing becomes rough and heavy.
- You can feel as blood is abandoning you, as the sense of belonging is abandoning you, as you abandon control and manipulation about your own conscience, as well as the ability to move your body, the ability to think, to reason, feel.
- Despite the pain caused by the bleeding wound, when the last liters of blood are abandoning your body, you stop feeling pain, you stop feeling despair, you just feel a strange and inexplicable peace, you just feel a cozy cold.
- Physical sensations abandon you, which is a short rest of pain agony.
- The last thing that abandons you is conscience, you can no longer think, you cannot reason, there is only a silence, a silence that is company until the conscience itself also abandons you. Leaving only a cascaron. Lifeless.
Simon was known for being someone intelligent, both an intelligent superson, as an intelligent lawyer, as an intelligent friend, as someone intelligent. When I was in that cave, wounded, Simon knew that he was going to die. He knew there was no more, that was all.
I have been thinking about those stages of bleeding. I have thought about how before losing control of his conscience, before losing the use of reason, Simon thought "I have to warn them", even being aware that he would die in a matter of little time. In that empty cave, I look up, to the sides, down to his wound, forward.
Seeing down, before forward, he saw his wound, wound that he covered with one of his hands, soaked in blood, Simon thought about writing the Kronos password with his blood, thought of writing it in the rock in which he was recharged. I try, but for that moment, the legs no longer responded, and if he took the hand of his wound, the blood sprouted as if it were a source of a park that he and his friends used to go from time to time when they were still legal. That even if he covered the wound with his hand, he did not help Denter the bleeding at all, Simon could feel like the blood ran on his sides like water from a river.
In the cave there was water that ran like a small lake, which was where Mister was expelled when I fight with the omnidroid. To think that while Simon bled, in complete silence, even aware, he could hear the noise of the water to move, thinking that it was his blood, which sprouted with the same intensity as the water.
By even being able to make sense of reason, I look forward, use his last strength to activate his power and write the password on the wall in front of him. When doing that, with Axito, the blood began to sprout faster than before using its power. Simon from a young age he always noticed as when using his powers, his body used to tense a lot, things that I think happens to most supers.
When he was in that state, bleak, unable to move, with a wound that covered from his left hip to eighth rib, not counting other serious injuries but that they did not match that of his abdomen. At the time of using his power, his body is treated, causing the bleeding to be worse and worse to fatal.
When he was writing the password on the wall, when he reached the letter N, having already written Kron, he stopped and began to agonize, he felt as if a lung was going out for the opening of the huge wound. They barely take a breath, trying to calm their breathing so as not to drown with the blood that sprouted through their bosa, but I could feel how instead of breathing air, breathing blood, I could feel like its lungs gradually filled with it. I lift my head again, to continue writing what was missing from the password. When finishing writing it successfully.
His gaze began to cloud. I stop feeling pain, I just felt cold along with a justified moisture in his hands.
Even with a sense of belonging and conscience, I think of his house, his friends from the office where he worked that they probably did not miss him, in his family that he had always protected and cared for his whole life, that he will be of his family now without him? He did not think that perhaps they would miss him or cry for him, he thought that it would be of them without him. Simon was always used to being a pillar for people, not because he liked people to depend on him, but because he liked to help, because he had the need to be useful, so he was now dying in that cave.
He knew that his work friends did not miss him at all, perhaps they would miss that Simon took care of the extra work they did not want to do, they would take hand that he stayed overtime in the office so that they did not do it, they would miss Simon that Simon became responsible for the mistakes they used to make.
-They miss that, but not Simon.
He knew that some family members probably would miss him, maybe the closest, such as his brothers and his mother. Perhaps his brothers would miss his jokes without grace, perhaps his mother would miss the bouquets of flowers that Simon always used to take her every time she visited her, maybe her father would handle the hours she could spend next to Simon sitting in complete silence while playing chess (I say hours because her chess games could last hours and hours since both were too good in the chess, none were too bad. Good to overcome the other, they could spend hours avoiding plays from the other, they could spend a full hour without moving a single horse or peon from the board since both took the necessary time to devise the perfect play to avoid losing, it could simon last 30 minutes to decide to move a peon and his father could last another 30 minutes to decide to move a chivalry or tower pass.)
- His family might miss it, perhaps, or perhaps the quality time, perhaps they would miss the fact that Simon used to be like a boring jester that had fun with their insipidity. Maybe.
As he died has already been released. But something that did not make himself known at all, is what happened before his death, I do not speak of his fight against the amnidroid, I speak of before that.
All the other supers died because of the omnidroid, some died quickly, others died slowly, some died heartbreaking and bloodstream, others died instantly, some gave a great battle against the omnidroid, others probably tried. This applies to the Supers that did not defeat their omnidroid in the first mission of each.
On the other hand, those who did defeat El Omnidroid, such as Macroburst, Hyper Shock and Gamma Jack had the opportunity to return home and return to the island again for their next mission. Macroburst, Hyper Shock, Gamma Jack when he returned to the island, naive without knowing what protected them, after their first mission, they returned home, feeling alive again as in their days of glory, enjoying the large pay that gave them syndrome for the mission, after a while, they returned to the island for their second mission of which none returned.
Gazerbeam On the other hand, I understand that he defeats the omnidroid in his first mission, knew that something was wrong, as I don't know, he has never specified how he realized what was happening or how he discovered the password, but we returned to the same point of the beginning, Simon was intelligent, cunning, despite his myopia, his eyes were in everything, even in everything, even in the smallest and smallest.
The fact is that Simon discovered what was happening during his first mission, Syndrome realized that Simon had discovered it, realized that Simon managed to enter his computer and discover the key and was going to warn the NSA. Clearly, Syndrome wouldn't let him leave; After beating the omnidroid, Simon was caught by Syndrome.
Syndrome had Simon Captive for a while, precisely, the time I took to improve the new omnidroid that he would use to kill him and the new supers he would deceive. During that time, Syndrome only gave him the necessary food and water so that he did not die, with this I mean that he gave him a bottle of water every 3 days, and a little bread from time to time, it depends on the humor being syndrome.
(Although I have the faithful belief that Mirage used to give Simon more water and food without syndrome realizing)
Here it should be clarified that, after the Supers were illegalized and relocated, it was very difficult to locate them, even if you were a person with a ridiculous amount of money and immense power as Syndrome had, it was difficult to locate them.
AND!!! Remembering a very important point, Simon was a lawyer, defender of the Supers, a Super. Before Simon was Super, he used to defend them in court when they were sued, he used to run into some supers in his office to talk about some extensions or fines, then he became super, relating to supers, becoming friends with supers, spending time with supers, etc. To what I go with this, is that Syndrome thought about it, I conclude that Simon knew the secret identity of many supers, which was a successful conclusion. Simon knew the secret identity of many supers, some because they were his friends, others because he had In person.
Syndrome knew this. Therefore, he thought "it is increasingly complicated and late to track supers with their secret identities, but I have this kidnapped idiot, and this idiot knows the identity of many supers including Mister incredible, then because complicating me looking for me, if this damn has the information I need."
Taking into account that Syndrome is someone bloodthirsty.
And taking into account that Simon clearly would not reveal the secret identity of the other supers, this being aware of what would happen to those supers on this island if he revealed his identity.
Syndrome went to the best solution that occurred to a bloodthirsty like him in this situation.
Torture.
Contemplating that Syndrome has that glove with a telequinetic beam that I use to catch Mister Incredible and his family, it is almost impossible to escape from him, when he catches you with that ray, you simply be paralyzed, at his mercy, without being able to move or use your powers, as he did with an incredible Mister and his family. Therefore, it is evident that it was impossible to escape or defend itself, even more if it was at the Syndrome base, with guards everywhere, in huge indestructible rooms of which it is impossible to leave as well as enter, on roads and corridors that seem endless labyrinths that only syndrome knew well, once inside the syndrome base in the captive area in which I had Simon, it was impossible, it was impossible escape.
During the time Syndrome improved his new omnidroid, it was the same time that he submitted Simon to torture so that he revealed the identity of the supers he knew. Without any success, the silence of Simon J Paladino was impenetrable, which made Syndrome angry.
Syndrome treatment for several months different torture, although he did not get any information, he funny with that. The screams, the whimers, the struggles, seeing the limit to which a man could be so satisfactory, as well as killing the supers.
Syndrome try many things.
I try to electrocute it, enough to be agonized but not enough to kill it. I tried to drown him, Syndrome tied Simon up to a metal bed and put a reflective steel band covering his eyes so that he could not use his powers, then proceeded to put a cloth rag on his face and poured gallons of water on his face, Syndrome liked to see how Simon struggled with the shales that had the metal bed He drowned with the water that he poured on his face covered with a cloth, when he noticed that Simon was twisted in a very frantic way, he stopped throwing water and removed the rag of his face so that Simon could breathe, while simoning and panting by air, Syndrome said "now if you will tell me the identity of Frozon He only came accompanied by another rag on his face with another 15 minutes of drowning and again this stopped, he could breathe again and listened again by Syndrome "well, which seems to you if you better tell me who is incredible Mr. were good friends, clearly know who it is, and well? They had immobilized.
Syndrome also liked to put hot metals on Simon's feet and back, every metal he put was every time Simon refused to speak.
Syndrome was bloodthirsty, but he also liked to torment in other ways. When he had to work in his omnidroid, he used Sounding every damn second without stopping, who would not go crazy with that?
That, among many other things, not to mention that Simon did not see the light of day during all that time, there was not a single window, there was nothing to tell him if it was day or night, he did not even know the time with precision, he lost all notion of time. His sanity depended on being able to escape and warn others. It was firm to his silence because he did not want another Super to be deceived to come to the island to die. Regardless of what the syndrome did, Simon repeated a thousand times in his head:
"My freedom and rest cannot be a friend's loss"
Although Simon was aware that if he does not speak, Syndrome would end up killing him, he was also aware that if he speaks, apart from killing him, he would also kill whoever he has revealed the identity. Simon could with torture, very hard but could, however he knew that he could not with the weight that because of him a friend would end up the same as the early, dead.
While he was captive, no name of any hero or secret identity came out of his mouth, only shouts of agony and whining of pain came out. But a name never.
When Syndrome ended with the new omnidroid, Libero Simon on the island to end him. Wounded, hungry, weak, tormented, sore, there was not much that Simon could do to defend or escape in that state, and in effect, I cannot. While I was already injured by torture, I ended up seriously injured and fatally by an omnidroid attack, escaped, ended in the cave and well, we already know the rest.
I strongly believe that Gazerbeam is a shy person.
Have you ever had a crisis after a mission or something like that?
anxiety attack
I have the headcanon that when Simon started as a Superhero, exactly 6 months after starting his career as a super, an accident occurred, a building fire during the night, while Gazerbeam, Gamma Jack, Frozone, Mister Incredible and Dynaguy were patrolling the city at night, they were informed of a fire near where they were patrolling, they went as quickly as possible to the scene of what happened and the building was on fire.
Gazerbeam, Gamma Jack, Mister Incredible and Dynaguy along with other supers who arrived at the scene, began to get the civilians out of the burning building, while Frozone tried to put out the fire with his ice (although it was in vain since the smoke from the fire caused Frozone to dehydrate quickly, inhibiting his powers).
While they were getting all the civilians they could out. Inside the burning building, Gazerbeam was carrying a small boy of about 12 years old in one arm and an unconscious adult woman with the other arm over his shoulder. When Gazerbeam ran out of the building with both of them in his arms, he managed to see a scared little girl coughing from the smoke from the fire, hiding under a table; Gazerbeam, noticing the girl, rushed out and left the boy and the woman he was carrying to safety in order to return as quickly as possible for the girl. When Gazerbeam left and left the boy and the woman with the paramedics, he ran as fast as he could inside the building again and went to the place where he had seen the girl hiding under the table to save her.
When he arrived at the place where the girl was, in fact, the girl was still there, but now lifeless (probably because she breathed too much smoke from the fire). When Gazerbeam saw the girl showing no signs of life, he picked her up in his arms and ran out of the building before it collapsed due to the fire, while running, he had faith that the girl was fine and that she was just unconscious, unfortunately that was not the case. When he went out with the girl in his arms, he quickly left her with the paramedics who tried to revive her for 10 minutes without success, when they saw that there was nothing that could be done for the girl, the paramedics proceeded to cover her body with a white sheet to continue caring for the other injured civilians.
Gazerbean just stared at the scene, paralyzed, stunned, and in shock. He loved his job as a super, helping people, protecting the weak, saving the defenseless. That's what Gazerbean had been doing for the past six months since he began his career as a super. He did it with love, passion, and determination. There was nothing Simon enjoyed more than helping people. And that's what he'd been doing for the past few months, successfully completing each of his missions. Even though it had been six months since Simon started as Gazerbeam, this was his... first reality check.
Here Simon realized that the hardest part of being a super is that you can't always save everyone.
He had never stopped to think that something like this could happen, he just thought that as long as he gave his best, everything would be fine. Besides, the other supers had been guiding him on how to be a super, on how to act under pressure (by Mister Incredible), on how to prioritize mid-fight (by Frozone), on how to deal with his fans (by Gamma Jack), etc, etc. But no one ever told him what to do in these situations, no one ever told him that these situations could happen and he hadn't stopped to think about it before either.
The fire was already out, only smoke and fire alarms remained. When Gazerbeam reacted and came out of shock, he looked around, at the civilians both injured and healthy, paramedics and firefighters running from one side to the other, supers helping injured civilians, a few other supers just staring perplexed at the destroyed building, he returned his gaze to the lifeless body of the girl already covered with a sheet. Gazerbeam began to feel a very strong pressure in his chest, a heaviness in his shoulders, he was short of air, breathing was difficult, he couldn't hear all the background noise, he only heard echoes, an overwhelming despair consumed him in a matter of seconds. He didn't know what to do and he didn't want anyone to see him like that, so he ran away from the crowd without anyone seeing him, he got away from the disaster, he stopped running and started walking, he went into an alley that was across the sidewalk he was walking on, his knees gave way as the darkness of the alley covered him, he collapsed to his knees on the ground, he still couldn't breathe, his head was spinning and there were only two images in his head, when the little girl was scared under the table and when the paramedics covered her with that white sheet.
In his head, the only thoughts bouncing around were: Could I have saved her if I'd hurried? Could I have carried all three of them? She was just a kid. Is it my fault? Did I really do my best? Could I have done more?!.
Gamma Jack looked through the crowd for his friends. He saw Frozone, Mister Incredible, and Dynaguy talking together near a fire truck. He approached them and asked where Gazerbeam was. They thought Gazerbeam and Gamma Jack were together. When they saw that they weren't, the four of them began to worry, wondering if something had happened to him, or if he was still inside the building. They asked a paramedic if they had seen Gazerbeam, to which he replied that he had seen him quickly leave the place a couple of minutes ago.
This calmed them down a bit, but they were still worried about where their friend had gone. They didn't hear from him again that night or the next day. The next time they saw each other, it was because Lucio and Bob had come looking for him at his office a couple of days after not hearing from him. To which Simon only excused himself by saying he had been very busy with work.
He didn't discuss the matter with anyone except Dicker.
Have you ever been hurt on a mission?
Simon: Yes, on several occasions, most recently the last mission with Bomb Voyage. Let's just say freezing a bomb in ice doesn't prevent it from exploding........But Frozone didn't listen to me.

Can Simon see without his glasses?
His NSA file says he has poor night vision, which occurs in severe cases of myopia, and Simon, apart from myopia, has astigmatism, both in excess.
Usually when it gets late at the NSA offices, Dicker insists that Simon sleep over at his house. Dicker's house is closer to the NSA compared to Simon's apartment.
From the NSA offices to Dicker's house it takes about 10 minutes. From the NSA offices to Simon's apartment it takes almost 35 minutes.
Dicker is worried that Simon will get into a car accident on his way home at night, due to his poor night vision. Since Simon has already had car crashes due to his lack of vision, usually at night. So when it gets very late, Dicker insists that Simon stay over at his house to prevent him from returning to his apartment late at night.
Simon can see a little without his glasses, a little, a little. He can't read without his glasses, usually when Bob and Lucio think Simon is working too hard. They often hide his glasses from him and give him the condition that they will return them if he takes a 30-minute break.
Tengo entendido que Evelyn Desvors te odia y culpa de la muerte de su padre ¿Te sientes culpable por la muerte de su padre? ¿Odias a Evelyn?
