Haven't baked in a while - it turned out surprisingly good! The recipe can be found underneath the cut

English isn't my first language, and I therefore apologize for grammar or spelling mistakes and if things are written in ways that seem confusing. Also, I have quite limited knowledge on how lb/oz work, so I'm deeply sorry if it's weirdly written - I kinda just threw the original data into a converter program.
Here's what you'll need:
-> a round backing mold
-> 500g/17.6oz/1.1lb of flour
-> 250g/8.8oz/0.55lb of margarine or butter, depending on what you prefer
-> 170g/5.99oz/0.37lb of sugar (though you can of course add less/more depending on how sweet you prefer the dough to be)
-> 1 egg
-> around 1kg/35.27oz/2.2lb of apples (or other fruit, whichever one you like - it tastes good with pears!)
Instructions
-> mix flour, sugar, margarine/butter and the egg using a hand or stand mixer to form the dough and then knead it
-> put dough into fridge for one hour
-> now, you can start cutting the fruit into thin slices; remember to remove the exocarp!
-> prepare the baking mold! Put margarine/butter into it and then sprinkle on some flour.
-> now, put 2/3 of the dough into the mold - put it onto the bottom/floor of the mold and onto the walls of it - make sure it's evenly spread!
-> put the fruit you have prepared earlier into your now dough-covered mold.
-> now, you should prepare the covering of the cake - the top layer you'll put onto the fruit. There's two ways to go about this -
1. Roll out the remaining dough and just put it onto the cake like that.
2. Roll out the remaining dough and cut out thin strips out of it. Then, carefully weave them into the pattern I've used for the version I showed here.
-> bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes at 180CΒ°/356FΒ°

The 'myosotis' part comes from the Latin name for my favorite flower, and the 'forgotten' part references the English name for said flower - 'Forget-Me-Not'. What can I say, I really like these flowers.
Is it inappropriate to say that I quite miss the winter? Most people seem to be relieved that the warmer months are slowly arriving - at least where I live - but I can't help but miss the cold.
