I sat up. I looked to see if David was still there. I had another dream about him leaving me again.David was always deep in sleep when I’d wake up in the early hours of the morning. I wanted to break down and cry. David he was so naive to it all. He never could see pass the barrier I was hiding...
I think I deserve to die because I got this request something like three months ago and I have written this just durung the last thirty days… But I hope you all enjoy. This one goes out to Utami.

Mario stops the engine of his car. He takes a deep breathe, and lets it out slowly in a long sigh. With a quick glance to his watch, he knows that he’s a little early. He checks out his reflection in the rear view mirror, making sure that he looks decent enough.
Funny, he quietly thinks to himself.
It’s not like he’s never gone out for a date. Obviously, he’s been seeing some women before. This, is obviously not his first date. But strangely, this one feels different. This is the first time that he’s going out with Ashley. And suddenly, he feels like he’s a teenage, going out for the first the time with his first crush to a prom night.
Mario feels like his stomach flips, and his heart beat start to race.
So this is how it feels, to be excited, of meeting someone.
He takes another deep breathe, and opens the door. With long steps, he walks out the car, to the door of the house.
2.
With his heart still beating so fast in his ribcage, Mario knocks the door. It doesn’t take so long before he hears some footsteps from behind the door. Mario starts to count in his heart, just because he needs to do something to calm himself down. He can hear the click-clack sound of the keys being turned around. He continues counting. And by the time he reaches the number eleven, the door swings opened.
The prettiest smile on the most beautiful face welcomes him. The sparkling light in her eyes send a warm rush in his vein.
“Hey, Mario! You’re here!”
Mario says nothing. What can he say, when his mind goes blank because the perfect portray of beauty is standing right in front of him?
He can only look at her. He only wants to look at her.
“Mario?”
That sweet voice of her sounds like a bell that brings him back to reality.
“Ashley?”
“Yes?”
“You look beautiful.”
A shade of pink instantly colors her cheeks. She bows her head a little, with a small shy smile on her lips.
And again, Mario can do nothing but to stare at her.
So, this is how it feels. To be out of words, to be stunned, just by a small smile, by a pair of pretty eyes, that shine like a lighthouse in the darkest stormy night.

“What are you thinking about?”, Ashley whispers in his ear.
Ashley’s question makes Mario turns his head to look at her. The light from the chandelier that falls on her hair makes it looks like glowing, as if the moon is hiding behind those soft strands.
“Hmm?” Mario arches his eyebrows to her, and brings his glass closer to his lips, to sip the remaining champagne there.
“What are you thinking about?”, she repeats her question.
Mario doesn’t answer for a while. He puts his glass back on the table, and looks around the room. He can see his team mates, and other people that he recognizes in the room. As can be expected in a gala dinner, everybody is dressed up, and look nice. Mario turns his head to Ashley, and smiles. Ashley is still the most gorgeous woman in the room, with her smile that always makes Mario forgets how to breathe.
“I was just thinking, that the party is nice…”, Mario says.
“Yes, it is nice…” Ashley. Ashley replies with a small nod, with that pretty smile .
Mario takes her hand on the table, wraps it in his hand.
“But do you know something nicer?” he asks her. Her eyebrows arch up, with a question in her eyes.
“The fact that I am here with you, is the best part of this party…” Mario answers his own question, without taking his eyes from her for even a second. Now it’s not only her smile that brightens her face, a pink blush colors her porcelain cheek.
Mario tightens his hand on her hand. And there is a warm rush of blood that nicely flows in his vein, to feel her fingers between his own fingers, holding them back. He’s not only looking at her smile. He’s keeping that smile and its warmth in his heart.
So this is how it feels. To know that somebody is filling the space in his heart that was empty. It feels warm, and nice.

Mario can hear the sound of music playing, and vaguely see the other people dancing around them. But then again, the only thing that feels real is Ashley. Ashley, who looks so beautiful in her maroon dress, and now in his arms, dancing along with the song.
Mario pulls her closer, and rests his chin on the top of her head. He can smell the sweet scent of vanilla from her.
“Thank you for tonight…” Ashley says, as she rests her head on his shoulder.
Mario skisses the top of her head.
“And thanks to you…”
Ashley raises up her head, and look him in the eyes. “What for?”
“For being the most wonderful thing that touch my life. For being you. For being perfect.”
Mario swears, that the light in her eyes is much brighter than the Northern star. It’s the only light that he needs to shed away the darkness in his life.
He leans his face closer to her, and kisses her beautiful lips. Once he feels her kissing him back, he realizes something else. So this is how it feels, to have a perfect kiss To finally feel, that life is completely beautiful, because the half of his soul is now with him.
It’s been a while since he felt this way. A peaceful feeling, to know that he doesn’t have to rush on things.
It’s one of the summer days when he gets days off from training. Usually, in his days off, Mats will drive somewhere, alone or with a friend, to a place in the city. Or he just stays at home, doing whatever he feels like he wants to do.
But today, he wants to try something different. Without no particular destination in his mind, he walks along the area where he lives, takes the turns that he never takes before, and finds out that just about thirty minutes of walking from his place, he finds a nice quiet park. Mats takes a seat on one of the bench, rests his back on it. He throws his head to the back, eyes closed, he can feel the breeze of wind delicately touch his face. He smiles, and opens his eyes. Through the leaves of the trees above him, he can see the bright blue sky.
Mats lets out a long sigh, and looks at the bushes in front of him. The park was quite, not so many people passing by. Mats sits for a while, nothing in his mind but how the world can be so beautiful just because the leaves and grass are so green and the sky is so blue and the sun so bright. After a few minutes ( he starts to lose his sense of time), he is thinking of getting up and continue walking (somewhere, anywhere, he has all day long anyway). But a sound of footsteps coming his way makes him turns his head. A girl is walking to the bench that he is sitting on, and for a moment, Mats thinks that he is dreaming.
Because the way the sunlight falls on her hair is just perfect. The way she moves in every steps that she makes is just perfect. And that pair of eyes are just perfect.
The girl stops at the other end of the bench, and vaguely nods at him, with a very faint smile.
Mats smiles back, half expecting a sign of recognition on her face.
But the girl sits, pulls out a book from the brown postman bag on her shoulder, and within the next second, she’s already absorbed in the thick book.
Mats waits, eyes still locked on her. But it looks like that faint smile was all that he got from her.
And suddenly, Mats realizes something. It’s been a while since he feels like this. To have this strange fluttering feeling in his stomach. To want to start talking, but at the very same time, don’t know how to start it.
Mats clears his throat.
“Nice day, huh?”
The girl doesn’t even bother to turn her neck, she just glances at him from the corner of her eyes, and slightly nods.
“Uhm..hm…” she replies, if that kind of sound can even be counted as a reply.
For a split second, Mats lose his courage. But as he looks again at her, he unconsciously smiles again. It’s just a beautiful view. The girl, her hair fall on her shoulder like a gleaming waterfall, a delicate face with that serious expression, completely lost in her book.
“Come here often?” he tries again.
She nods again, eyes fix on her book.
“How often? Like, every day?”
Another nod. Without looking at him.
Mats bits his lips. He looks at the sky above, and suddenly something crosses his mind. He smiles at the thought, and then stands up.
“See you tomorrow…” he says. He doesn’t expect any answer, so he turns around on his heels, and walks away. He didn’t see, that the girl peeks at him from the top of the book that she is reading.

It’s been a while, since he came and sat again at the bench. The same place that he went to yesterday, where he met the girl. Anxiously, he glances again at the watch on his wrist. If she really means it that she comes here often, every day…
And then, as if heaven hears his wish, Mats hears the sound of footsteps coming closer. With a bright smile, Mats lifts up his head to look at her. There is a slight expression of surprise in herface, that’s gone in just a split second. She smiles a little, and just like yesterday, she sits, takes a book from her bag and starts to read it again.
But this time, Mats already prepared. He takes out the stack of post-it notes from his pocket, and scribbled on it with the pen that he brings along.
Hey. So we meet again.
He shoves the post-it to her side, with the pen. He can see her curious glance. Mats shoves his hand into his pocket, whistling, pretending to look at the greeneries in front of them. But his heart jumps like crazy as he can see from the corner of his eyes that she takes the post-it, and the pen.
He tries to breathe normally while she is writing something on the post-it. But he can’t help but to have a big stupid grin on his face when she shoves back the post it to him, with a round but neat handwriting.
Yes. I’ve told you I come here everyday
He lifts his head a little to look at her. Her eyes are on her books, but Mats can see a small smile that she fails to conceal on her face.
Mats quickly writes in another post-it, and shoves it to her side again.
I’m Mats
The replies comes quick. As only two words are written there.
I’m Criss
Still having that grin on his face, Mats writes again.
There is a coffee shop around here. Want to go there?
He doesn’t even bother to pretend to look to another direction when she is writing her reply on the same post-it.
Tomorrow? At the same time like this?
Mats bits his lips. Better than a “no”, anyway. So he smiles as he shoves the post-it with his handwriting on it to her.

The girl glances to read the last post it from the corner of her eyes. She nods, stands up, and walks away. She doesn’t say anything. But Mats is sure, that there is a smile on her face when she walks away. And he is having a bright smile to on his face when he stands up and walks home.

It’s been a while, that there were some rainy days on summer. Usually it’s always be a bright and nice day on summer. But today, it’s raining. Not the kind of hard rain, just the slight drizzle coming from the grey sky.
And it’s been a while since Mats lets himself being slowly soaked by the rain.
He’s sitting on the bench, waiting. Letting the gentle droplets of rain touch every inches of his face and his hair, as he lets his mind wandering.
It’s been a while since he’s been sitting here, on the bench, waiting under the rain.
Until finally, the splashing sound of water, signaling someone coming closer in a hurry, in quick steps.
Mats lifts his head, and smiles to see her. She stops right in front of him. She stretches out her hand, so now the umbrella that she holds is also covering him from the rain.
“I’m sorry, I’m late…”
Even though she’s still panting a little from her quick steps, Mats can hear the sincerity in her voice.
Mats shakes his head a little. “It’s all right.” He smiles as he adds, “The most important thing is, you come, Criss. And that’s worth the waiting.”
He can see the pink blush on her cheeks, that really makes him has to hold himself from running his fingers on that porcelain cheeks.
“So, are we going now?” she asks. The pretty smile on her face comes with a twinkle in her eyes.
Mats stands up and nods. “Here, let me hold it for you…” he says, taking the umbrella from her.
“Shall we?” Mats asks. Criss nods, and bows her head a little.
They start to walk, side by side. The drizzle falls on the umbrella above them. It’s quite a big one, the blue umbrella. Mats carefully moves the umbrella from his right hand to his left hand, making sure that the umbrella still protecting both of them from the raindrops. He looks again at Criss, walking quietly on his right side. So close like this, she looks even much prettier. Mats takes her hand, and hold it in his. From the corner of his eyes, he can see she gasps a little. But she doesn’t pull her hand away. And after two seconds, she holds his hand back. Filling the spaces between his fingers with her fingers.
Suddenly, the sky is not so grey anymore. The rain is not so cold anymore.
It’s been a while, since the last time Mats held hand with someone.
Now, someone is holding his hand. And Mats knows, he won’t let the hand go. Not even for a while.
I don't want to have a high expectation, but I hope you guys still remember me. I know that I have been disappearing from Tumblr for (way too) long. (yeah, as if somebody noticed it). I finally finished my Pre Academic training, but instead of having some free time, I was having quite some rough weeks of moving to where my University is, and do stuffs about it (Registration, study plan, meet with advisor, orientation, etc etc etc). Not to mention the things that I have to do with my new apartment.
I want to apologize on the delay of one-shot requests and the late late late response of your messages. I am terribly sorry about it. Trust me, I really feel bad about it because I love you all and I have been missing Tumblr and all of you :(
So now I am starting my life on going back to University again, and my first classes started just today. I am taking 12 credits, so I'll be quite busy (not happy about it, believe me). But I will try my best to keep on writing. Besides, writing is one of the things that keep my sanity. So I will try to do the one-shot that you all have been requested. I hate to say it, but it's not gonna be quick now.
So yeah. Once again, I am really really REALLY sorry for being so late in everything.
You were also asking for a one-shot, right? First of all, please please please do forgive me on the late response. I feel really bad about it. And if you forgive me, I still have to ask you to forgive me because it may take me quite a while before I can finally write a one-shot for you.
