Knowing that karma will come for me if I've crossed anyone and anyone who's done so to me on my path.

did the sketch a few days ago and I was planing to render and line like I always do but this time I decided to try these visuals of old comics. no shadings, and almost no effects (only a simple paper texture). I like to try new things when I have the time for that

Handmade oldschool flower lolita dress set! I was inspired by the early beginnings of lolita fashion before it was actually called lolita fashion as well as early 2000s classic, gothic and 70s inspired renaissance style.

I found the bonnet at a thrift store, detached the hat piece and added ribbon on the buttons and lace on the front. I fell in love with the floral fabric and found it online! The sleeves are heavy as I lined them with cotton interfacing which wasn't super necessary, but I wanted them to have more structure.

It's amazing how so many people walk the trails and passes trash without caring to pick something up or at least making a plan of action for the next visit. This is on a main trail and it's so heartbreaking to see. Not all trails are trashed but I've noticed it's really bad off trail and main trails. If you live near park, woods or forest trails and see trash but don't have a bag, picking up a bottle may not seem like much but it's a small step towards a cleaner park. You might even find trash bags littered which is sad, but can be used to store the trash you find. If everyone who visits these places did this at least once or twice a month, the environment would be a lot more cleaner and better off. Happy trailing ❤️

Agreed! I still have photos of childhood friends and old friends on poloroid. The dates were written in sharpie pen or ballpoint. The latter will smudge but i reccommend sealing them with modge podge or a spray sealer

Edit *Ring has stated that they cancelled their partnership with Flock. It's still very important to keep the pressure on their neck and know that historically Flock has been abused and hacked by outside parties. People like Ben Jordan has exposed this a while ago. Also, Ring is still partnered with local authorities who are partnered with flock, so if they have reason to they can and will utilize these surveillance systems.*

Flock has partnered with Ring which means increased surveillance across a vast network of camera systems that can and have been accessed by the companies that own them, local police and ICE. When someone opts in to own a Ring camera you don't own your data and it can be used to investigate you, your neighbors or anyone who travels around you. If you don't mind this and like to keep your ring camera make sure that you or someone you trust is the authorized user and no one else is authorized to access your camera feed. With that said, any governing body, hacker, ICE, Amazon and Flock can access it at anytime.

I can see how tech like this can be used for investigating important matters like missing animals, persons, human safety or other crimes, and in that case I condone it's use but once again, unfortunately, the balance of power when it comes to this tech is greatly abused and the foundation of which it is built is shaky at best. When there is little to no accountability, no regulation and no limits on data harvesting and it becomes obvious that these are being exploited and used against you, that's a huge red flag. What to do? Educate yourself. Decide were you draw the line when it comes to tech like flock or ring. Inform others who have these cameras or are thinking about getting one. Know the alternatives that have been proven to work (eg. cctv hardwired, wireless or cloud based) or create your own hybrid hat can be tested.

Another consequence to this surveillance tech is surveying eachother constantly and becoming more distrustful of our neighbors and surroundings, which divides us and distracts us from what really matters and who we as a society should hold accountable for taking advantage and manipulating in the name of safety and security.
