How would the six react to a MC who loves to bake?
god this is so fun, i love this but also im hardcore into food is a love language so, fair warning.
He lovess it and is always asking what you’re going to be baking or making suggestions.
Asra begrudgingly admits that your pumpkin bread rival’s Selasi’s, but neither of you will ever tell him that.
He’s the WORST when it comes to dipping his finger in batter or frosting or literally anything.
Sometime’s he’ll be sitting alone and eating a cookie you made and gently cry in happiness that you’re real and you’re with him and you love him and baked for him.
Lets hope you like doing dishes because Asra will be shoving a cupcake in his face and watching you clean up (literally Anything But Dishes Please)
She’s surprised that you love to bake so much but she immediately is thrilled. “I should have hired you as my baker instead of as my magician!” *cue really lovely smiling sprite*
She loves showing off your baking skills, even asking you to bake when her family members come to visit (not that she still Needs to impress them but, it Will impress them)
Sometimes Nadia tries to help you bake and you both end up laughing and covered in flour.
You thought feeding each other was intimate?? Wait til you Feed Nadia Baked Goods You Made and watch her fall in love with you all over again.
She’s always bringing you exciting new spices or ingredients for you to use in your baking.
Almost as bad as Asra when it comes to dipping his fingers in batter and frosting
He gets SO excited when you’re baking because everything smells so good and he gets to live with the love of his life.
If you bake like…a LOT, he’ll try to convince you that he doesn’t as a person deserve that many sweet good things to eat, he’s wrong.
He will help do dishes, he will complain about it the whole time but he will help.
He likes to make a game out of trying to guess what you baked by closing his eyes and having you feed him a piece. (he’s right like 50% of the time)
If he tries to help you bake, just, keep a fire extinguisher ready. (Though on the rare occasion he doesnt burn himself or his surroundings, his baking is good actually)
Please for the love of god let him be your official taste tester he will LOVE it (even if he doesn’t always admit it)
He will say everything is “acceptable” and then smile and it means he loves it.
He closes his eyes and takes a deep smiling inhale whenever he walks in and MC’s been baking.
Muriel has Done Without for so long and it honestly might make him tear up to have a partner who loves to bake because it is the life he never felt like he deserved to have with food he never felt he deserved to eat.

He always offers to clean up and do dishes and he DOES but its mostly because he wants to lick the spoon.
Inanna asks him to ask you to make some wolf-friendly treats (if you do, she licks your face and muriel gives a genuine hearty laugh)
“NO WAY!!! YOU LOVE TO BAKE???”
She insists on taste testing Everything all the time (including yes, the batter and the frosting)
She proudly will bring your baked goods to Mazelinka or Julian or Nadia and brag about how her partner loves to bake and is so good at it too.
Walks in to her cottage nose first, always sniffing the air for whatever you’re baking today.
She will plant foods that you can use in your baking special for you in her garden!! (blueberry bushes and strawberry plants, zucchini, rhubarb, etc) So that your baking can have a little bit of her work in it too.
She offers to help you once but she just throws flour on you and before long the whole kitchen is white with little tiny cat footprints running through it.
He can’t get enough of your baking so its good that you bake a lot. Lucio has a HUGE sweet tooth and will likely never fully be past the three years that he couldn’t eat at all.
Also the act of having a partner that would bake for him at all is just so intimate and not the kind of intimacy that he’s use to thats rough and loud but so gentle and loving and he will definitely cry and thats okay.
He talks up how high his standards are and then tells you that your baking exceeds those standards every time. (Even on days when its a little burnt, but thats a nicety reserved for you and you alone)
He will not help clean up but he WILL reach and pick up a hot baked good from your tray with his metal hand and pop it into his mouth and immediately burn the roof of his mouth.
He likes to sit around and watch you and talk while you bake.
