i want to be more active here in posting art! say what you want, but after trying almost every social media "art" platform out there, tumblr remains the GOAT. it's impossible to get away from AI on deviantart, twitter and bluesky are equally boring and the archive is terrible (and mastodon cohost(rip) are similar), CARA is nice but feels a bit isolated, and no need to say anything about instagram i think. tumblr isn't perfect but it works for the purpose i want, it's interactive enough and i love its archival function.
