Carlos The Scientist

° My son? Love him

° He either wakes up at the crack of dawn or at 3 in the afternoon, no in between

° He’s a morning person if he wakes up on his own.

° He really likes dancing. He learned as a child from going to so many of his cousin’s quinceaneras and actually grew to love it. He never had the confidence to ask anyone to dance though.

° He’ll play music while doing chores (What a true Latino, ammiright?) and ends up dancing. Salsa, mamba, zapateados, cumbia, rancheras, you know it.

° He always dances with Cecil but his poor husband almost can’t keep up with him. Cecil is a quick learner though ;)

° He absolutely adored Coco, and sobbed hysterically whilst clutching Cecil (who was also sobbing ngl)

° Also really likes Broadway

° Is a biiiiig fan of that one musical where Alexander Hamilton shot and killed that one random dude Aaron Burr

° Has a soft spot for West Side Story, Evita, and In The Heights.

° Sings America with Cecil as Bernado and himself as Anita

° Always cries a little at the “Alsa la bandera” part in Carnaval del Barrio

° He’ll treat himself with facemasks and choose then to rant to his husband about his ships and shows

° “AND THEN! THIS HOE DECIDES TO GO WITH THE OTHER HOE!!!11!1”

° Cecil always keeps a straight face when listening to these rants, but always laughs hysterically on the inside

° Came out to his parents when he was younger. They were as accepting as they could be, which wasn’t a lot, but it could have been worse

° Misses his wheat and wheat by products. And pens. And dreams. And m o u n t a i n s

° “Cecil, I love you, but if you try to dispute mountains one more ti-”

° Him and Janice are inseparable and he loves it when she asks if she can help with tiny experiments

° He gets flustered very easily and becomes a mess.

° Since he’s too tan to blush, he cries instead. It scared the crap out of Cecil at first

° You can imagine how flustered this man was when he first heard Cecil’s radio show.

° “I fell in love instantly”

“W-What?! WHAT?! *cue sobbing noises*

° Accidentally reverts to Spanish when just woken up or really tired. Cecil loves it

° Whenever stressed, Cecil just takes his hand and they go for a drive. They always end up looking at the lights just above the Arby’s.

° Has to console Cecil for at least a week after each of his haircuts

° Got the Definition of Sciene tattoo

° Speaking of tattoos, he loves Cecil’s moving tattoos. He’ll absentmindedly trace them with his fingers and it’ll drive Cecil mad.

° He always gets asked what his last name is.

° One day, he gets so tired of it, he just says,

“Palmer.”

° He’s such a teddy bear, I love him, and I want him happy.

° This boi.

° He is the king of Self-Confidence

° He can rock anything and everything (occasionally nothing if he or Carlos is in the mood)

° He’ll never admit it, but he once wanted to be a model. (He did however confess this to his lovely amazingly hot husband one night when he was drunk on wine)

° It took a while for him to realize Carlos is no longer his boyfriend and now his oh my Glow Cloud (all hail) perfect Carlos is his husband.

° So many interns hear about Carlos before actually meeting him and they all wonder if this man is actually as beautiful as Cecil says (spoiler alert: he is)

° He still does bowling night

° For some odd reason, he loves the ocean. Maybe its because he’s lived in a desert his entire life, but the idea of this huge body of water just fascinates him.

° Carlos always finds documentaries about the ocean for them to watch and Cecil looks so happy throughout it

° Whenever sick, this child is so extra

° “Carloooooos! Pleeease!” “Cecil, no.” “BUT I COULD BE DYING! D Y I N G! *cough and sniffle*

° He always goes above and beyond for date nights which Carlos secretly loves

° He’s such a good father figure. He loves kids and would be a great Dad (Carlos and him haven’t had that talk yet)

° He loves animals. Loves them. Khoshehk ((did I spell that right?)) is the only pet for him though.

° Don’t ever get him mad.

° He’s usually a very warm person, but the second you insult him, his husband, his family, his job, his town, or (God forbid) his cat, you’re dead. He will not tolerate this slander and he will ruin your life. He’s not above it.

° He can excuse a lot of things. Murder (if done reasonably), wheat and wheat by products (if you don’t get caught) etc. But he will never tolerate racism, sexism, or homophobia.

° He’ll use his show to call out the homophobes and racists, don’t think he doesn’t. (Luckily, there aren’t many of them)

° Basically he’s a loveable goofball who won’t hesitate to kill you if insulted.

Getting into podcasts sucks because it’s not always an every week thing like you know you’re gonna have to wait two weeks for a twenty minute episode so you stay up till two in the morning for the episode to come out and you finish it and you’re sitting there for a solid hour staring blankly out into the black void of your bedroom questioning everything and trying not to scream and wake up the whole neighborhood and that’s when you know you’re screwed and you will never be normal again
