Genealogy Club of Solivita

This was the first meeting. It's a great group for anyone seeking their ancestors. The meetings share search tips and we get encouragement from the others in the group.

I like that Solivita has over 150 clubs started by residents. Any topic that interests you is probably represented. If not, start a new club.

Relaxing on the Lanai

When someone new moves into Solivita, my first bit of advice is when you have your screen room built, make it BIG. The weather is marvelous for outdoor living so you'll want plenty of room for lounging around outside.

It's prime space for entertaining too, so think how much room you want for your neighborhood party.

Sandhill Crane on a Nest

This nest surprised us by being in such an open location. It was near the tee box on hole 15 of The Oaks golf course. The female is sitting on the eggs while the male stands on alert nearby. They take turns incubating the egg(s).
