Keegan laughed a bit. “I don’t think it’s gonna be an issue.” She said and looked down to Ava. She watched the baby for a moment before looking back to Krysta. “I’m so proud of you Krys. You did it and you are gonna be such an amazing mom.” She said and smiled softly. She always thought she would be the first to be a mom but life didn’t always turn out like you thought it would. “I saw this video of a kid reacting to his dad and uncle who were identical twins and it was really funny.”

”Thank you.” Krysta smiles sadly, tucking some hair behind her ear. “I wish he hadn’t left us though.” She didn’t talk about her failed marriage a lot, wanting to focus on the positives, but now that Ava was here it was hard not to think about it. “I really thought he was the one, you know? We wanted her so badly...and then he just left. I don’t get it, I don’t get how he did it or mom did it or how anyone could.”

“It doesn’t sound bad.” Sam reassures her, shaking his head. “It’s always going to be hard, Krys…but you’re strong enough to handle it. That doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to hurt, but it might be a little easier since she looks like you. I know what you’re saying. It’s hard to tell with babies, but I really think she looks like you.” He smiles, admiring Ava some more. “I never thought this would be me, either. Here I am getting married this weekend.” He chuckles, reaching to take Ava from her. “That’s good. She’s probably just extra sleepy right now, being born is hard.” He teases, leaning back in the chair. “Eden said the same thing when I was holding Cole. It’s not my fault I’m freakishly tall and she’s freakishly tiny.”

“Thank you.” Krysta murmurs, snapping a few photos of Sam and Ava on her phone. “What happened with Dom wasn’t a good experience..but I’m okay. Really. I have Keegan, my dad, and all of my friends here for me. And I know I’m gonna be the best mom I can be. That’s all I can do.” She shrugs, reaching for the food Sam had brought her, starting to eat slowly. “I know, it’s crazy. I’ll be there, I promise. I shouldn’t be here long, everything went normally and all that jazz. My dad can watch Ava during the ceremony.” She adds on, giving him a smile. “Excuse you, she’s normal weight and height.” Krysta jokes, laughing softly. “I’m just messing with you.”

Krysta: Doesn't matter now though, I divorced his ass.

Krysta: I'm gonna rock the single mom thing.

Keegan smiled as she was handed Ava, holding the little baby in her arms. “Nah, I got someone to cover for me. I think I have a pretty good excuse.” She said and smiled, looking down at her niece. “She’s just perfect, Krysta.” She said and looked up. “I wonder if we will confuse her at any point.”

“I would hope they don’t give you any trouble. And if they do, send ‘em in to see me. I’ll set them straight.” Krysta laughs softy, taking a couple of pictures of Keegan holding Ava on her phone. “She is, isn’t she? I can’t believe she’s actually here and she’s all mine. I love her so much already and she’s only a few hours old.” She murmurs, starting to eat the food her sister had brought. “Hm...I dunno. I mean, I’ll be mom and you’ll be aunt Keegan. Maybe I’ll get a mom haircut or something, who knows?”

“Yes, she is.” Sam nods, admiring the baby girl in front of him. In all honesty he’s jealous, but he knows it’ll be Poppy with a baby after they get married, so he pushes the thoughts away. “She looks just like you.” He says honestly, reaching to gently touch Ava. He adjusts her blanket, smiling back to Krys. “You’re not biased, she is. Look at you, being a mom and shit.” He teases. “I’m proud of you, Krys. You’re so strong.” Sam says, reaching to squeeze her hand. “Can I hold her? I promise I won’t wake her up.”

“Yeah...she does. I’m kind of relieved...I know that sounds bad, obviously I would love her no matter what, but if she looked like Dom it’d be hard. I mean obviously she still can...I don’t know. I’m not making sense.” Krysta shakes her head, laughing tiredly. “I know, it’s crazy. I never thought this would be me. But I’m really glad it is. I love her so much already. Thanks...I’m proud of me too.” She smiles, nodding when Sam asks if he can hold her. “Yeah...so far she sleeps like a rock, so don’t worry about it.” Sitting up slightly, she carefully passes her daughter over to him, smiling. “You look like a giant holding a doll. It’s adorable.”

Keegan smiled as she brought in some of Krysta’s favorite food. Normally, they didn’t want people bringing in outside food however she knew some people and was able to bring in some of the food. She set the food down and smiled as she got into the room, moving to sit down. “Oh, sorry about waking you.” She said softly. “Of course, anything for you Krysta.” She said and looked down at little Ava. “Did you want me to hold her while you ate?” She asked, tilting her head slightly.

“No, no...it’s fine. Don’t worry about it.” Krsyta shakes her head, sitting up slowly. “Yeah...you can take her. So far she’s a pretty heavy sleeper.” She laughs softly, carefully handing her daughter over to Keegan. “Dad left to make some phone calls, I think, but he’ll be back later if you need to get back to work.”

Sam had texted Krysta to make sure it was okay if he came to visit. He didn’t want to intrude if she wanted privacy, which would be completely understandable. When she gave him the okay to visit, he drove over to the hospital after he stopped on the way to get her some real food. As he walks through the hospital he pushes away the creepy feeling, focusing on Krys and her baby. He finds her room, knocking on the door lightly. He sees Krysta and the gorgeous baby girl who was just born hours ago and a huge smile pops across his face. “Hey,” he says quietly before setting the food on the table beside her bed. “Oh my God…wow. Look at her.” He murmurs as he sits beside Krysta in the chair. @mysteriouskrys·

“Hey...come on in.” Krysta replies once she hears the knock on her door, adjusting her position in bed slightly. Ava was laying on her chest, sleeping, and Krysta had been resting as well, tired from the day’s events. “Meet Ava...she’s beautiful, isn’t she?” She ass, feeling herself smile. “She’s perfect. I’m totally biased, but I don’t even care.”

It had been a long day, but Krysta couldn’t have been happier. Her daughter had finally arrived, and her dad and sister had been by her side the entire way. Ava was sleeping on her chest and Keegan had gone to see about getting her some food, and while she was gone Krysa had dozzed off, the sound of a chair scraping across the floor waking her again. “Mm, hey...sorry, I dozed off. Any luck on the food front? I know the rules around here are pretty tough.” She laughs softly, being careful not to wake her baby. “Thanks for everything, Keegs. Really.” @littlekeegansamuels

Keegan grinned. “Well she is gonna be my favorite niece. Of course I am gonna spoil her.” She said happily. “I can’t believe I’m gonna be an Aunt soon.”
