My favorite type of starker headcannon is,
Peter does something normal/mundane โ Tony is so unbelievably horny and turned on by it, holy shit, so he keeps trying to get him to do it more
Peter falls asleep in the lab after pulling an all-nighter, so when Tony finally looks up from whatever he's tinkering with and notices, he tries to wake him up. He ends up half-walking half-carrying Peter to his room, and while he's setting him down on the bed already planning to go back in the lab, Peter loops an arm around Tony's neck and pulls him into bed, effectively wrapping himself around him. Tony absolutely doesn't have the heart to pull away, so he 'decides' to go to sleep as well.
Turns out, that's the best way to get Tony Workaholic Stark to sleep once every two-to-three days.
AGHHHHHHH THEYRE SUCH BOYFRIENDS!!!!
It's a widely known and often memed statistic that Tony Stark has never dated anyone older than twenty-five-years old. The reliability with which all his relationships degrade within weeks of his partners' 25th birthday is truly comical to the entire internet-using world, except to two people: Tony Stark himself, and his current boyfriend, Peter Parker.
Peter knew of Tony's history upon entering a relationship with the older man, of course. He's Gen Z, born with the power of the internet in the palm of his hand. He was 21 when he first met 46-year-old Tony Stark. He knew he had an expiry date. But he was young and Tony was funny and smart and nice and so unbelievably hot. Peter could have a good time with him for however brief it may be.
Tony, on the other hand, was prepared to quit dating entirely when he was dumped yet again shortly after spending a small fortune on a diamond necklace for his ex's birthday. She was nice enough to try to give it back the night she left him, but he refused. Maybe she can sell it and use it towards the down payment for a house or whatever it is that "serious adults" do.
Because that's the thing the internet doesn't talk about, how people date Tony Stark for a good time and not for a long time. Oh it's fun to get invited to high society galas and travel to beautiful places around the world and be showered with lavish, expensive gifts. But when people decide it's time to settle down, make commitments, have a family, they don't want to do it with a man like Tony Stark.
Peter is too beautiful for Tony to resist, though. And as Tony got to know him - just how sweet, kind-hearted, and absolutely prodigy-level genius the young man is - Tony knows Peter is entirely too good for him to keep. Tony knows his heart will inevitably be broken again down the line, but hey, it's better to have loved and lost and all that.
Right?
It's a wonderful few years. Perfect, even.
Peter never imagined he would find the love of his life in his early twenties but here he is. Tony Stark's incredible body and insane stamina and big, fat bank account are great perks for sure. But it's his quirks, his passion, his work ethic, even his flaws that make Peter fall even deeper in love. It seems like the only flaw of Tony's that Peter can't get over is the fact that the man obviously prefers them young. And it's not something Peter can ever accept or change about himself. The thing about puppies is that they always grow into dogs.
Tony throws Peter the biggest 25th birthday party the city has ever seen. No expense was spared. Everyone was out to celebrate, family and friends inside the venue, even the vultures outside waiting for their breakup, jokes at the ready.
There's just one couple whose happiness was subdued. It's a melancholy that hovers over them like a stormcloud. Each bout of lovemaking feels like the last.
With every kiss Peter is saying, please let me stay.
With every touch Tony is saying, please don't go.
Tony is the one who caves. This has gone enough for too long. Either way, Peter will be the last person he'll ever be with, the last person he'll ever love.
The engagement ring is a vintage piece of gold that once adorned Tony's own late mother. Tony hopes against hope that it doesn't become yet another piece of jewelry to bookmark another heartbreak.
But Peter says yes. Of course, he says yes. Few people are lucky enough to find a love like he had. Even fewer had found it so quickly.
"I'm sorry I kept you waiting for so long," Peter says.
"It's worth it to finally find you," Tony says.
In the end, everyone is still right. Tony Stark has never dated anyone older than twenty-five-years old. But he will be married to one.
Tony and Peter in chiikawa style โจ

Tony proposes to Peter
As soon as Peter sees Tony on his knee with a Ringbox in his hand, he gets the zoomies and starts excitedly running around to get his excess energy out
Tony watches fondly, his eyes full of love, until he gets tackled and absolutely thrown to the ground without ever actually getting the chance to propose
You know how when Banner logged into the Quinjet system, it said โwelcome, strongest Avengerโ?
Well Tony has it so whenever Peter logs in it says โwelcome, prettiest Avengerโ.
It never fails to make the boy blush ๐ฅฐ

Everyone thinks they know the truth, thinks they understand what's happening between Peter and the incredibly rich man - if that black porche that picked him up from the school had anything to say about it. The rumor spread like wildfire and most of everyone knew of it except for Peter himself until MJ is questioning where he's suddenly disappearing to and she let it slip.
"You know Susan Yang thinks you're an escort."
Peter didn't have time to think about it as the fate of the world was at risk but once everything calmed down, the words registered in his head. He laid in the hotel bed the night before they go back home as that sentence rings in his mind. An escort? No, Tony was his mentor. The man doesn't look at him any differently than he'd look at any kid his age or Peter assumed so.
Sure there were a couple tense moments in the lab like when Tony stood behind Peter, who sat at the desk - fingers working over a circuit board clumsily so the older man reached over to rest his hands over Peter's and guide them through the motions carefully. Peter's heart fluttered in his chest and he stared at the tanner hands gently moving his own and when they stopped, Peter turned his head to the side to catch Tony's eye but stopped when he realized how close their faces now were. He opened his mouth and let out a soft, "I-" before stuttering out a thank you.
Then there was that one time Peter and Tony were in the lab working on an upgrade for Peter's spidey suit when Tony made a lame joke and Peter snorted in response, a silly grin on his face as he played into the joke. Tony opened his mouth before he realized what he was doing, "You've got a pretty smile." and Peter's stomach did those flips and he stutters out how kind Tony was.
Peter tasted metal on his tongue and he rose a hand up to his bottom lip to see blood from where he'd chewed on the skin in the midst of his thoughts. He sighed heavily and stared up at the ceiling, would Tony ever look at him as something more? He remembers every time Tony had ever referred to him as a 'kid'. How every time the topic of sex came up between the Avengers, Tony is quick to cover Peter's ears and playfully taunt how he's still young. How Tony put that 'training wheels protocol' on his suit or how he had to teach Peter a hard lesson after he destroyed a ship. He remembers how childish he felt at the time, how the age gap between them was so present.
But then he remembers when Tony suited up to try out his new flight stabilizers and Peter watched eagerly, eyes tracked his every moment only for Tony to fly backwards and hit the column behind him. Tony let out a soft groan and Peter rushed to his side soft "Oh my god"s slipping past his lips but before Peter could worry too much - Tony is letting out a soft laugh that grew louder and grabbing his side. Peter looked at him as he heard that sweet sweet sound from where he knelt beside Tony's body laying on the floor. Peter couldn't bite back the smile that dared to slip onto his face and their laughter echoed on the lab walls. Peter let the compliment slip, "Your laugh is nice." Tony paused and looked at Peter as he processed his words before a light pink is tinting his cheeks and saying a "Thanks, Pete." and then before the subject can be dropped he adds, "I like yours too."
He remembers when they sat at their desks with the music playing through the speakers of the lab and Peter had shivered about three separate times before Tony is wordlessly grabbed his jacket that he'd shrugged off a while ago and tossed it in Peter's direction. Peter stared at the fabric that landed directly in front of him, on top of his work, and then glanced up at Tony who hadn't spared him a single look. Peter carefully pulls on the black zip up and he went back to work, trying his best to not focus on how he can smell Tony's cologne and something distinctly him. He didn't think much of it until he's getting ready to leave and as he goes to take off the jacket, Tony waves his hand and mentions how, "He looked better in it anyways."
Peter rolls over in his bed to lay on his side, facing the postered wall in front of him. He let out a deep breath through his nose as he thought of Tony, of his charming smile and the wrinkles besides his eyes. Of the way Tony was always quick to have some quip on his tongue and tries his best to keep the mood light with jokes - even if they're said in inappropriate times sometimes. He thinks of the quiet moments they share in the lab but at the same time he treasured the talkative moments, when they'd chat and talk the hours Peter stayed down there as they worked on their own projects. One of Peter's hands was tucked under the pillow and the other resting near it, fingers twiddling with a thread on his pillowcase as he broke down these feelings.
There's no way Tony liked him...no way those moments meant anything more than Tony being a good mentor and Peter should truly give up any hope of them being more. He's not sure why he holds onto that thin string maybe it's because he so desperately wants it to be real or maybe it's because some moments he can't deny that it meant something more.
Like when he and Tony were chit chatting in the comfortable lab, Peter perched on the desk as Tony sat in his rolling chair. Tony rolled over to Peter and they were a respectable distance away from each other at the beginning of the conversation but somehow Tony ended up slotted between Peter's thighs, the older man looking up at the other. His hands came up to rest on the boys thighs and stroked up and down slowly as they spoke. It wasn't anything sexual, his hands stayed down by his knees but it wasn't something you do with your friend...right? MJ and Ned had never put themselves between his thighs and began to gently stroke them. Nothing happened, Tony rolled away to grab something as if he hadn't turned Peter's world upside down.
Or when Peter was saying goodbye for the night, packing his belongings away as Tony watched him quietly, seemingly deep in thought. Just as he was making his way to the door, Tony grabbed his wrist and Peter turned to look at him - head tilting cutely in confusion. Tony didn't say anything until he stepped closer into his space and they were inches apart, "You're really pretty." Peter's heart raced and his stomach erupted with butterflies as Tony's hand came up to cup his cheek. Their faces were so close now, if Peter tilted his head up more then their lips would surely brush together but the moment is broken by Bruce walking into the lab to tell Tony something about a gadget. The two jumped apart and Bruce stared at them, questioning aloud if he was interrupting and Tony waved him off to answer the question the man originally had. By the time he finished up and turned to find Peter, the boy had left.
These moments left everyone confused. It left all his classmates thinking he was an escort for some rich guy, left the Avengers wondering if there's was something more between the two, and left him confused as to what his relationship with Tony even was. No one at school or the Avengers knew the truth, no one knew that when that black car picked Peter up and they disappeared into the lab, something far more sweeter happened than him being an escort.

Hot take or just my preference but i hate it when people infantilise or feminise Peter so much like heโs Spiderman๐ญ๐ญ he isnt a skinny helpless twink who wears skirts, he got bitten by that spider and got abs, is strong and geeky. Gimme my nerdy Peter who wears plad shirts and carries his suit in his backpack, but is also strong and muscular.
Maybe its just me but i donโt understand why people feel the need to make the bottom really fem, especially in fandom spaces. Then thatโs just my preference u can enjoy whatever u want, but idk i feel like ppl forget how he looked in no way home shirtless. Just saying.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this...
I really love soulmate starker AUsโฆ ESPECIALLY โsoulmates first words to youโ onesโฆ I love a young Peter having โNice work, kid!โ appear on his wrist when he was like ten, and not being able to say anything about it.
I love Peter growing up, having to see other people find their soulmates and actually be with them.
I love Peter getting so jealous, because Tonyโs at the point where he just thinks he doesnโt have a soulmate, so of course heโs hooking up, having flings with anyone, being known as a playboyโฆ
lov soulmate ausโฆโฆโฆโฆ.
just thinking about Tony losing hope in ever finding his soulmate so he just fucks around and never tries to make relationships work because he knows they'll eventually find their soulmate and leave him. Who never makes it known how much it truly affects him that he still hasn't found his soulmate so everyone believes he doesn't care. Who silently wonders if those words will appear on his wrist one day, if he'll ever get to have a soulmate.
Peter who stares at the words on his wrist in amazement because his soulmate was Iron Man. His wrist had itched like crazy when he said those words to him but he was too busy staring to say anything. Who doesn't know what to do next, he can't say anything about it - no one would believe him and it would be awkward. So he keeps quiet and if anyone asks about the words itched into his skin, he'd just say that the conversation happened too quickly for him to realize what was happening or who it was.
Peter who becomes a hero in his town after he gets bit by a spider and then on one random day that Peter thought would just be like any other, he's walking into the apartment, eyes gazing over the expensive car in the parking lot. He in between telling May about it when he notices who's sitting on the couch. Tony Stark. His freaking soulmate is sitting on the couch in his living room. He stutters out an introduction and he wants to the world to swallow him at how much he stumbles over his words during it.
"Um, Wha-What're doing-Hey, Hey I'm-I'm Peter."
Tony's who's wrist itches like crazy and he's reaching his other hand over to scratch at it as he offers to speak to Peter alone about the 'grant' and May lets them disappear into Peter's room where Tony locks the door to speak to him about Peter being a super hero. Who can't take the itching and finally looks down at his wrist to see black ink on his wrist, words that hadn't been there before now looking back at him.
Tony who stares at the words then back at Peter over and over again as he processes what just happened. Who goes into deep denial that his soulmate was this much younger than him, no. No way. Who can't deny that he needs his help so he asks for it but doesn't awknowledge the words on their wrists but they both know that they're soulmates and they know the other knows.
Peter who tries not to let it show that he's hurting but deep down it sucks that Tony won't awknowledge what they truly are. Who eventually cries about it in the comfort of his room after the adrenaline of the mission wore off. Who tries to contact Tony about well...anything but Happy is the middle man and Peter's pretty sure Tony doesn't like him very much.
Tony who hears about everything Peter has done and is proud of him and maybe just maybe he'd open up to the idea of him being his soulmate. Who after a stern lesson with Peter, who had tried to do a too dangerous mission and almost left a ship in half, eventually lets Peter into his lab to help him with small projects because the boys brain was just too big to not be nurtured.
Tony who falls in love with Peter in the quiet moments in the lab. Peter who fell in love years ago and had given up hope of Tony facing the truth about the words on their wrists until one day, Tony steps a little to close and the tension in the room rises until they're kissing in the middle of the lab.
Starker who at one point both thought that they'd never get to be with their soulmates but in the end, both ended up deeply in love.
fav trope, definitely !
