MY STUDENT DIARY DAY #1!

Heeeeellloooooo there!

It’s me, for my first day of journaling on tumblr! Haha. It’s feels kind of weird but oh well. So, what did I do today? This was my back to school day after easter holidays. I thought it would be really hard to get back on track, but I was surprised to see that it actually felt.. kind of good! I guess I needed to see people again, and my friends were just so nice :)

Workwise, I didn’t do much these holidays (.. in fact almost nothing, but let’s stick with not much), but I feel good so that’s what matters the most! I’ve been studying in my bedroom and in my sister’s bedroom (she has a bigger desk and she’s not at home) for years, but I changed it up: I put a table in front of the big window (I don’t know how to call that in english), placed my books and a light.. I feel a little exposed because my (crazy) neighbour can see me and people passing by in the street too, but it still feels amazing: I have a beautiful view on the whole garden and I’m using a space in my house that we (my family) never use! + it forces me to get out of my room and separates the place where I’m sleeping and the one where I’m studying.. all in all, feels pretty good!

Now that I’ve babbled on and on about my new studying area, let’s talk ACTUAL STUDYING. It’s currently 8:27pm and I’ve already relaxed + eaten dinner + taken my shower, which is wow so early! I’m going to try to do that everyday and also wake up a little earlier as the sunrise is at 6:30, which is amazing because I love waking up to a sunny room. Okay, now about studying. Oh wait, my battery is at 5% so I need to get my charger upstairs. I’ll do that THEN I’ll study. This doesn’t really look like a studyblr right now!

Back again! It’s 8:48pm. Ye it took me a little more time than what it should have. But hey! now I’m ready to studyyyyyyyy

TONIGHT’S TO DO-LIST:

study biology

catch up on physics

make my bag + prepare outfit

That’s all! This to-do list looks small and quick to accomplish but hum.. it’s not.

It’s currently 10:11pm and I’ve been studying biology + surfing a little on twitter and looking at some stuff about the elections that took place yesterday. I must day I’m still disappointed about them..

Anyway, I haven’t studied all of the material, but I’m going to stop now, tidy up my desk, make my bag, choose my outfit, forget about physics, watch a yt video, and go to sleep!

That’s it for this first entry, hope it was somehow interesting to get a peek into my life (lol) and night night!

Quick introduction to my studybrl!

Hi, my name is Ellie and I’m 17! I’m starting this studyblr because I’m currently studying for the baccalaureate (at least I’m supposed to) and thought this would be a nice source of inspiration. All of the studyblr community seems so nice and cheers me up when I’m lacking motivation, so I’m really excited to join it! So.. I don’t know what else to say in this introduction.. I guess I’m going to explain what I’m planning on doing here. Everyday (*cough cough* almost everyday) I’m going to be writing an entry on this blog on my day, to hold myself accountable and reflect on what I’m doing. I’m also going to start bullet journaling, so that’s really exciting! Anyway, I think that it for this post, I hope you have an amazing day or night! :)

Hi y’all! If you’ve been around studyblr long enough, you’ve probably heard of the Pomodoro Technique, a timer technique for studying and productivity. The basic jist is to time yourself working for about 25 minutes and then take a break. 

Instead of using a timer, I decided it would be more fun to create some playlists about 25 minutes long each, and to work until the songs run out! I’m linking them below (they’re spotify playlists), so that you can try some out. Or feel free to run with the idea and make your own!

Hi there! I’m a 17 years old high school student and yesterday, I discovered the studyblr community. I think it’s awesome and really motivating! So I decided to create my own, to keep track of my progress and try to the the 100 days of productivity challenge.
