Brown guys have been having a great year onscreen. Brown women, not so much.
For once, I sort of agree with the comments. And I loved The Big Sick and Master of None. Also, Lion.

I saw that you were happy they got married. You want Ben to be endgame?
I don’t know what I want. I just want to go where the show takes me. I don’t think Mindy (the character) knows what she wants either. I don’t hate the idea of Ben being endgame.
You haven't posted much about The Mindy Project? Do you still watch? If yes, what have you thought about Season 5?
I do still watch. I wish it was coming back sooner. I thought it was funny. I still really enjoy the show, but more as a comedy than the serial aspects of it.
Also, went to see Ike Barinholtz’s new movie out this week, Snatched starring Amy Schumer. Don’t be discouraged by the bad reviews (It had a decent weekend, so I guess a lot of people ignored them). It was entertaining, not profound and not as good as Trainwreck, but a LOT better than Sisters (The Tina Fey/Amy Pohler movie where Ike played the neighbor) or any Melissa McCarthy movie written by her husband. Went with a big group, including men, women, old, young, and we all enjoyed it. It was fun. He was great in it too. I hope he will have a lot of opportunities once the show is over.
I don't give a flying flip about Chris Messina or if he has a job or where, but I do want a Mindy and Danny reunion and ending for this show. They were the heartbeat of this show together and apart. They are the endgame couple since episode one for me. I just want to see them work it out and live crazily ever after and then Chris can go back into oblivion making movies no one sees. But I want Mindy and Danny together.
Oops, I didn’t notice these questions. For some reason, Tumblr didn’t show them in my box. I don’t know what I want as far as Mindy and Danny. I know what I DON’T want, which is for the last season to have a rushed feel as they struggle to figure out a way to 1) Get rid of Ben and 2) Have Mindy and Danny get back together. I’d like the ending to feel organic. That’s more important to me than Mindy and Danny being together.
And I’m not sure if I want them to be endgame for another reason. For a while, I felt like they were bad for each other because Danny was so controlling, but I wanted him to get counseling or something so they could end up together because Mindy was so in love with him. Now, I’m not really sure she is anymore. Also, idk, Danny is really a jerk. Like how many chances is she supposed to give him, and we are supposed to be happy about it? I feel like it just can’t work at this point.
So I guess I’m saying that, while I feel like Mindy and Danny still might be endgame, they’d have to jump through a lot of hoops to make me happy about it. Like, he can’t just show up and say he wants to be with her in the last episode, because what would make that different than all the other episodes where he did that? You know?
What do we think? I, for one, am kind of over him.
I'm so damn confused. Where did Danny's cousin come from then?
Did IMDb dupe us or are there secret episodes locked up in a vault???
I believe actors can add their own roles on IMDB. That’s why you sometimes see some minor role listed when the big parts aren’t yet. So this guy got cast, was excited about it, added his role, and then the episode was cancelled. Hope he gets another part soon.
This one says something about needing a few more episodes. I wonder how few? Still, glad we're getting more closer than that.
Mindy Lahiri is hanging up her scrubs. In the wake of the conjugal cliffhanger betrayed by the final moments of Tuesday’s fifth season finale of The Mindy Project, EW can exclusively reveal some bi…
Do any of the articles say how many episodes?
About Danny’s cousin
People have mentioned that, in one of the episodes they didn’t release, an actor was listed as Danny’s cousin on IMDB. Does that mean the episode was filmed? As a pretty big devotee of IMDB, I’m going to guess that what it means is that the actor was cast and added himself to the IMDB listing for the episode. Then, it wasn’t filmed, but he left it there. I’ve often noticed that cast members get added in a weird order on IMDB. Like the major stars and then, “Man in hallway” or whatever, and that is because an actor is able to add a role to his listing. He was probably excited about it. Bummer for him. Hope he got paid something.
The Bones finale wrapped up all of their loose endings and gave their core characters the happy endings they deserve.

Don't you feel like if it was done they wouldn't have had her had that upset worried look? I don't know why but more and more I think the series ends with her happily single with Leo. I don't see them asking CM back and something about this Ben situation feels off. I could be wrong but I don't know, thoughts?
I don’t know. As I said to the anon below, I feel like it is popular enough to be renewed by Hulu. It’s their most popular original, and since the cast has proven to be pretty flexible (meaning they can obviously live without pretty much anyone other than Mindy or Ike), I wouldn’t think salaries are an issue. They’ve also obviously been good about letting people take off to do other projects. But I just think that maybe Mindy won’t want to do it anymore. The wedding seemed so abrupt that I wonder if they just felt like they had to end the show with a wedding because she has been engaged before and obviously didn’t get married, and she already has a baby. I wonder if the two episodes they cut would have made it less choppy.
I hope it will be back. I think actors like Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke have certainly shown it is possible to do a 10-episode show while still filming movies. But, of course, Mindy Kaling’s responsibilty on TMP is more than just acting.
If I was a betting person, I’d bet on it being back, mostly because I think they’d have announced yesterday’s episode as a series finale if it wasn’t coming back. But I bet that if it is back, it will be back for fewer episodes and maybe not until 2018.
So that’s my prediction: 13 or fewer episodes, probably to start in January.
You do realize it will always be popular on Hulu right? It's always done well on that platform. What shows do they have? They promote it like hell. And never mind the fact that Hulu is not that popular vs Netflix etc. So stop acting like being number 1 on Hulu is something to really brag about.
Wow, why are you so angry about a television show? If you hate it so much, there are a lot of other shows to read about. And I’m not “bragging” about it. Bragging would seem to imply I had something to do with its success. I’m just glad it’s going out (if it is going out) on a high note.
And, no, actually, Mindy Project is popular in the same range as Netflix shows. They don’t usually release ratings, but this article from 2016 talks about the most popular streaming shows, and it is not only Hulu’s most popular ½ hour comedy original (so beating Casual and Difficult People, which are both also heavily promoted), but the 7th most popular streaming comedy overall, and that is competing with some Netflix shows that weren’t mentioned (For example, Grace and Frankie, with an all-star cast, apparently doesn’t do as well as TMP). http://variety.com/2016/digital/news/amazon-transparent-hulu-netflix-making-a-murderer-112263-catastrophe-1201798269/
So yeah, it’s doing fine. It will never be able to outdo shows like Family Guy or Golden Girls, both of which have many more episodes than TMP and, in Golden Girls’ case, the advantage of novelty (Right now, TMP is ranked as most popular series behind those two), but it is doing very well and, if this is its last season, that will be because Mindy Kaling decided to end it, because it is clearly Hulu’s most popular original comedy.
It is obviously a cult show and will never have the ratings of The Big Bang Theory. That’s why it’s cool that there are so many different venues to watch television these days, so we don’t all have to like the same thing.
I won’t be answering further negative comments from you because I don’t like to feed trolls (and definitely not on my own blog), but I liked that article, so I love having an excuse to repost it. Again, I suggest you watch some other show if Mindy Project makes you so angry. I literally never think about shows I don’t like myself, other than thinking, “Oh, I have to change the channel because I don’t watch Dancing With the Stars,” or whatever.
Have a good one!
Kiss the day…goodbye… The sweetness and the sorrrooowww…
I hate goodbyes.
Still popular.
Mindy and Ben are both wearing rings at the end. They got married, right?
Looks like it!! 😱😱😱
Yeah I just realized she was wearing white lace when she proposed, and the kids were dressed for (of course) a wedding. So kind of a quick Liz Lemon "Oh #%*! She needs to marry SOMEONE" ending. Wonder if that means it's done.

Hope. A word so close to home, and as tricky. As much as we wanted Jason’s killer caught, and the town, our home, to feel safe again, every day that passed, our hopes dimmed more and more. There’s that old, cliched saying, “It’s darkest before the dawn.” But sometimes… There’s just darkness.
