No matter where on earth we are, those of us have called Auroville home are connected with one golden thread of love.
No matter how many of us are being broken by the authority each day they cannot rip out our heart.
Each plant will remember the hard barren days, each Soul will remember the good olden days.
Yes change is the only constant but no matter what you call Auroville, it lies within the Aurovilians.

Change ~ The only constant.

The following excerpt from
http://www.mahavidya.ca/2015/03/04/the-concept-of-samsara/
" Samsara is a Sanskrit word meaning âto wanderâ or âto flow through,â and is recognized within the Hindu religion as the continuous cycle of death and rebirth. Samsara is the result of oneâs karmic actions and thoughts throughout their present and pre-existing lifetimes. Samsara can also be seen as the ignorance of atman (true-self) and absolute reality (Brahman). When realizing atman one can then attain moksa (liberation). Moksa is seen as the highest achievement that any being can accomplish, and inevitably leads to ending samsara (Rodrigues 93-97). Samsara can also be tied to or known as worldly existence. It is the constant altering state on a continuous wheel which never ends nor begins, this is contradictory to the realization of atman, moksa or absolute reality which are eternal and infallible. "
There is a different level of satisfaction when you can touch the paper, use your paint brushes and each stroke turns into a beautiful story on its own. What is still love and appreciate about traditional drawing or painting is the excitement of creating a very unique piece unlike digital platform where you can go back and forth or play around enormously with photoshop.
Here are few pieces that we came up this summer.
We enjoy traditional drawing!

Worries
by Niken Afifah
"Leave your worries by the shore line
And run your bare feet through the sand
Let the water be a soft bed
When you cannot bear to stand
Make friends with flying seagulls
And hold the sun up on your palm
Before you duck beneath the water
Where the world is mute and calm
Tell the fish all of your problems
As they all come swimming past
When your lungs are close to bursting
Swim above the waves and gasp
Let the water hold your sadness
And wash it right out to the sea
So like a message in a bottle
All your worries are set free
And the sea might make you feel alone
But the world has troubles too
For how else do you suppose
That the ocean got so blue?"
