anyways magnus and alec’s first time together was beautiful and afterwards they cuddled in bed and couldn’t stop smiling until alec’s stomach rumbled and they both laughed and threw on some clothes so they could head to the kitchen and make some food and while magnus was cooking, alec couldn’t help but come up behind his boyfriend and wrap his arms around his waist and pepper soft kisses down his neck while magnus just laughed and leaned back into alec’s arms, both of them feeling safe and loved. can you believe this is exactly what happened??

according to plato, the origin of soulmates is that humans used to have four arms and four legs and a head with two faces. but that annoyed zeus, who determined they should be split in half so they wouldn’t be as powerful and consequentially there would be more people to praise the gods and all that jazz, and it was said that when the two separated humans find each other there would be a deep understanding of one another and they would feel unified, and then they would be truly happy.
