I really get Shauna because she keeps her thoughts and feelings for herself all the time yet she expects others to understand her. Anyone could say that her issues could be solved if she actually talked about what bothers her, but that’s the thing with her: she doesn’t want to explain herself to others, she wants people to take their time and actually pay attention to her so they can deduce for themselves, and this all connects to her constant insecurity of being uninteresting and a boring shadow that’s overlooked. And still she waits, she waits and hopes people will notice her and will be interested by her and will care about what she wants.
