STUDENTS’ MOVEMENT & WHATS’ NEXT

It is not surprising that the students are doing this great work of showing the whole nation what is right and what is wrong. They are not doing any massacre or any harassment or destroying any public property. They are just protesting against the reckless driving and pleading for the deaths of many in the road accidents now and then. the road accidents have become a common fact of the road of the cities and no one is safe because there is no one to stop these occurrences. So, the students and the youth of Bangladesh has stepped down to the road to seeking justice. They are really doing a great job but what’s next? Are these things are going to continue? The students have shown that how the traffic should be controlled and how the traffic rue should be followed. But did anyone has thought of will the system follow these things? Why go to the system, will the traffic police follow the system and bound the drivers to abide by the rules strictly? Will the picture of the road be the same as the students want or it will back to its own shape?

I am just giving a simple example. This is seen by me. On last Thursday, 2nd August all the students of the capital Dhaka in Bangladesh has participated in a mass protest in different spots in uniform against reckless driving and road accident because of the death of two innocent students. They want just to be done. One of the protest spots was Santinagar Mor which is connected with the Baily Road. They were there since the morning and raising their voice on “WE WANT JUSTICE”. There were no collusion or horning of the vehicles. There was also an ‘emergency lane’ to pass the ambulances and other emergency vehicles. But near the afternoon when the students move from that place, there was the as-usual the picture of the road. The cars were jolting, there were repeated horns.

The pictures will show what I am trying to say. the first picture is taken when the students were gathered and the second picture is taken just after the students left the place. My only question is, will the system understand the motto behind the movement and will the traffic system change for the good of all.

The students are gathered for justice and maintaining the roads traffic system.

Evilness - A Tenant

It actually wonders me much how William Golding is capable of producing so clear picture of human nature. It’s human nature that if they are not keep under any rules then very easily they goes out of mind. The saying ‘devil incorporates in every human mind’ is actually true. It’s inscribed in human nature that s/he will go after power & want to possess things. In this desire of possession human often break the natural orders of the nature, they break the rules & regulations.What i am trying to say is that if there is no binding or set rules at all then it is very obvious that something worst will happen. 

In the wonderful novel “Lord of the Flies”, Golding give the readers a real shock to thing about the situation of the world & their surrounding for once. After seeing the devastating aftermath of 2nd World War, he is starts to think that what will happen to this earth if another World War take place. For this very reason he set his story far away from civilization & put some British school children as the representative of the mature society. the kinds are sent away from civilization in hope that they will protect the civilization & humanity. But the matter of irony is that though the innocent kids reach the desert island novice & innocent but when return they lost all their innocence & civility. In course of time the children starts forgetting their mannerism, greed for power captures their mind & they turns into devil & don’t fear to kill at all. The characters though are in between the age from 6 to 12 they goes through  much in the island. Ralph, Jack, Piggy & all the other kids in the novel are the victim of evilness.They are merely a pony of the evil master.

So, evilness is a tenant of every human mind it just search preferable condition to come out just like the bacteria spore waits till the right time for sporulation. Evil is always there in our mind, we just can’t always see it.It is very needed too keep the rules in the society otherwise only the creator knows what will happen to this world. We should think it before it’s too late ---

Re-Molded

Some songs give a flutter to your heart. It’s like having the routine tea in a new designer cup. To me, the renditions of the old songs give a feeling of love & adore. & it’s kinda exciting. The song I am writing about is the legendary song “Keh Doon Tumhe”  of movie “Deewaar”. Then it was sung by none other than Asha Bhosle & Kishor Kumar which is remixed many times by many artists. This song thumps my heart when I heard it in my school times. Again this year the non-ageing song is going to reappear as “Socha Hai” in movie “Baadshaho”. This time it is sung by two very talented singers -  Neeti Mohan & Jubin Nautiyal. But the fact what amazes me most is that they not only recreated the old song but gives it a new image with some extensions like extra topping. All in all, I just loved the new version.

“Civil Disobedience” , a very witty & meaningful combination of words. It’s a speech delivered by H.D.Thoreau in protest of American-Mexican War. This simple two words speaks off so many things.They are loaded with the strong view point of the essayist who want to show the readers that the government can’t be a dictator, it can’t impose things upon its people. Thoreau states “That government is best which governs least” & “That government is best which governs not at all.” This actually pictures the true belief of Thoreau. He gives the idea of an ideal state where man is man first,then a citizen of a state. It inveigled the idea of individualism & strikes conscience over the design of law. This promotes bloodless revolution which also inspires many revolutionary leaders.

Reading African literature

”Things Fall Apart” by Chinua Achebe is his very first novel. It’s a tragedy which shows the collision of two cultures, fall of Igbo society as well Okonkwo’s  downfall.Here Okonkwo become a tragic figure like that of classic tragedy for his own character and external forces.
