These were all taken with a Nikon D5100, which is a pretty basic DSLR you can get for $300-$400, depending on if you get it used or not. I think that the more important question, though, is what lenses I was using, so I'll answer that too. I can't exactly afford a true wide-angle landscape lens yet (especially since I'm using a DX camera, which applies a 1.5x crop to all images, making landscape photography 1.5x harder), so for the top four pictures, I managed with stitching five frames taken by a Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens (again, super duper cheap) in a panorama function in Photoshop; and for the fifth picture, I believe that I just used a Nikon 35mm f/1.8G lens. Oh, and I used a circular polarizer for all five of them.
So, just letting you know, you don't necessarily need the most expensive camera equipment to take neat pictures (:

A collection of waterfall (Nevada and Vernal Falls) photographs that I personally dislike; my sister says she likes them, though, so here you go...
The lights of Tunnel View burn as if lit by a cigarette, stray embers consuming that papery veil between us and the starry void: those places we have not yet remembered, not yet traveled to.

Pale shadows from the waxing moon spill over onto the Yosemite domes, flooding night sky with its bleached light and colors.

Since it was canceled, we mist the Chicago Air and Water Show; but at least the fog made for some pretty neat photographs anyhow.
