Sasha, Orla and Rifle!!!
Heyyy! I saw ur fine with random asks and i just wanted to ask what brush do you use since i saw thats ibis paint u were using. Love ur art btw
Shit, that was quick.
Welcome, first random person to place an ask. Tbh I use fade watercolor (mix) (is that how that thing is called in english?), one of the free brushes, all I changed in it was the thickness at the start and at the end to the minimum, opacity 45%. Thank you for the support!!
Huh, 30 followers. Maybe I should draw a request? I kinda need ideas. (Just random asks are fine too). I think I just need to do something for the people who just randomly showed up here
Simon enjoyers, pls accept this as an offering so you forgive me for the hideously lazy comic from the other day. Is this enough? Am I forgiven?
(I finally recovered yipee)
Quick ace attorney comic I promised someone but I am feeling sick and the drawings get progressively worse as I get sicker (I absolutely did not read what I wrote so there might be mistakes). Here are some Simon Blackquill headcanons to go with that:
Simon has a blog dedicated to Taka and falconry;
He has a drawer full of different handkerchieves for Taka (he changes it depending on season and occasion);
Paints his nails black and his favorite accessories are rings;
Simon found a loophole in the law and now Taka has public access rights. Has successfully sued 2 malls for denying him entry;
Is a big Steel Samurai fan. Doesn't really care about the plot, is there for the historic references and accuracy and will not bother learning the names of most of the characters;
The only things capable of wavering this man are: something happening to Taka, something happening to Athena, Whet Noodles running out of soba.
Testing some stuff before I try drawing a small ace attorney comic (might fail miserably and give up). These women are everything I can't draw lol
Like mentor, like mentee
I had a dream and it is now a headcanon, so hear me out: Nahyuta is non-binary but not in the typical western sense
(Dream Ahlbi explained this to me)
Khura’in is a very soul-tied culture with certain roles regarding it so there are 3 main roles:
The bearer and channeler of spirit: a role culturally tied to fertility and childbirth, people with this role are deeply respected and revered for birthing other souls into existing and channeling spirits, working as some sort of bridge between the material and spiritual;
The enricher of spirit: a role usually taken by female-aligned people, cis or not, tied to remembrance and adding to one’s spirit. It is, in a way, a role of creation and spiritual guidance;
The severer of spiritual impurity: a role typically taken by male-aligned people, cis or not, have the role of necessary severance. They work as a counterbalance to the role mentioned earlier, cutting impurities and other things weighing down one’s soul and preventing them from moving on.
I think I should also mention that one can take more than one role at a time and they are not mutually exclusive.
That said, biological sex is not the most relevant part of an individual. To them, the body is merely a vessel the soul takes to get through life and is only temporary while the soul is eternal. I like to think that Khura’inism has 2 sets of gender: one for societal role and the other tied to the spirit and how the person lives and perceives life. Overall, Khura’inism has over 15 “soul genders” (Ahlbi in my dream used another word I don’t quite remember) each with their own set of pronouns composed, mostly, of short phonemes.
Now back to Nahyuta, for the sake of foreigners’ convenience, he makes use of he/him as that also represents his role as a monk to help souls achieve transcendence by cutting off harmful parts. Nahyuta also uses they/them as it’s the closest thing, culturally speaking to his other segment of soul gender. There is some hesitation towards being referred to with she/her, not out of rejection, but because of the huge cultural and spiritual weight the pronoun carries, as both an honor and responsibility Nahyuta doesn’t feel quite qualified to carry and is very admiring and respectful of.
Thoughts???? Sorry for the longass text (I don't even know is this is coherent, tried my best to explain it but english is not my first language). Khura'in needs morw worldbuilding.
Is it weird to have nose and chin headcanons?
(You might need to zoom in for better quality)
The existence of that man can't be good for his mental health but he wouldn't have it any other way
(I am, in fact, not proud that this is my first drawing of the year)
