“He sheds his entire coat every year.

Imagine: two whole weeks of nonstop tribble-sized hairballs. It clogs up the vents, the drains, gets in all the food, all over my glasses, and you’ll never get it out of your laundry. 

If we’re stuck at sea, we have to ban Bepo from a few of the rooms when it gets hot to save the equipment. Law won’t let him near the med bay either. Some of our stuff is so tightly packed in that we have to physically take the Tang apart to clean it during shed season.

On the plus side, if you’ve ever wanted to rock that white hair look--it makes great wigs.”

Because of your fur, I doubt you like rain too much, but what about the sound and smell of rain?

“I think it’s a bear thing, hehehe. We’re supposed to go in the water, after all! 

My fur doesn’t get too bogged down with water cause it’s made to repel it, so I dry off pretty quick. It feels nice and cool on a hot day!

The water drowns out a lot of smell, so it can give me a break from sensory overload. When it rains in big cities or places with a lot of people, it’s really relaxing. Plus, it reminds me a bit of Zou, y’know? We used to have daily rain…

It can leave me a little smelly, though…that’s the one downside.”

“Of course I like it! He’s my captain and he’s my friend, you know! It’s fun to cuddle up with your friends. I used to use Zepo as a couch when I was real little, too, hehe!

Besides, I’m pretty bulky. It’s not like it hurts or anything. And it’s one of the only times Captain actually rests…”
