Three major arteries are penetrating the area: 14th st, Broadway, and Park ave

In addition to being near Washington Square Park, Union Square is connected with three major public open spaces, Madison Square Park, Columbus Circle and South West entry of Central Park by Broadway

The site is one of the favorite places to hang out for the students of two major universities in the area NYU and Parsons School of Design
