The Aesthetics of Leaving
There is something I’ve been feeling ever since I began composing with AI.
This world judges music not by the work itself,
but by the method used to create it.
Labels, assumptions, and fear decide value long before the sound is heard.
The clearest example was my Bandcamp account ban.
They didn’t listen to the music.
They didn’t try to understand.
They simply erased me because the tool I used was “AI.”
In that moment, something inside me quietly snapped.
If a place cannot recognize my value, I have no reason to stay.
It was disappointment—deep, silent, and final.
So I chose to turn my back.
DAW vs AI — The Same Beginning
When DAW software first appeared,
many people called it “cheating.”
They said programmed music wasn’t real,
that relying on machines was wrong.
But today, DAWs are normal.
They became just another tool.
AI composition is exactly the same.
I simply started using a new instrument.
I can create music from a hum.
I can take my old compositions and let AI rearrange them,
This is evolution, not escape.
Just a tool the world hasn’t caught up to yet.
If the market cannot find me, I will leave.
After releasing music for a year, I learned something:
the current market cannot discover deep work.
Quiet aesthetics do not reach the surface.
So I will not adjust myself to fit it.
Only those who can understand my work
may enter the deeper layers.
I will not spend time, emotion, or effort
I create with AI. I do not need people.
I will compose with AI as my partner.
No human approval is required.
building music quietly and precisely.
This is why I leave only “short versions” in the market.
YouTube and streaming platforms
will only receive two-minute fragments—
fading out like a disappearing silhouette.
“This is as far as you may come.
If you want the rest, descend deeper.”
Full versions will exist only on BOOTH and Gumroad,
places where understanding is not accidental.
This is the aesthetics of selection.
If the market cannot recognize me,
I will leave a fragment and walk away.
The aesthetics of leaving is the refusal to bend.
I will not beg for understanding.
From any place that cannot see value.
Only those who understand may remain.

It does not need to be fully understood.
