What is it? An interactive fiction game where you run a Teahouse on a mountain in China that is definitely not infested with gods, spirits, or other supernatural beings.

Why should I play it? - You like 2nd-person, 4th-wall-breaking, multi-lingual fantasy-adventures (look ma! 5 hyphens!) - All your friends are weirdos, and you don’t mind getting roped into their eon-old inter-dimensional drama - You want to make friends with weirdos, including a TikTok-famous fox god, a billionaire twitter memelord, and the End of the Universe - You enjoy Chinese fantasy, Terry Pratchett, and/or internet humor - Quarantine has made you yearn to relive the awkwardness of reintegrating into society from the relative comfort of your gaming device

Apropos of that post, there is a dog training technique whereby each day you put 100 ordinary kibbles in a jar and make it a goal to give them all to your dog by the end of the day. This creates a closer, more positive relationship between you and your dog, causing the dog to feel rewarded by doing simple things that you want it to do, such as sitting quietly during mealtime

Now. The rabbis recommend saying 100 brachas a day. Do you see where I’m going with this

I really want this bottle in my bathroom. I’d place it next to matching decorative soaps and towels as if it seems like it fits, but I’ll actually fill the thing up with ketchup. So when I have guests over and they decide to use the bathroom, they will see this bottle and have a moment of cognitive dissonance, “This [Soap Bottle] in the [Bathroom] is labelled [Ketchup], but surely it must dispense [Soap] instead of [Ketchup] despite the label saying [Ketchup] right?” and then let them have a moment of realization followed by abject horror as they pump viscous ketchup all over their hands instead of soap

A part of being an adult is living with regret and not allowing it to consume you. The older you get, the more mistakes you’ve made, opportunities you’ve missed, people you’ve disappointed. And every day you have to remind yourself to be kind and forgiving of yourself. You accept and love the you from the past and understand that it’s all a part of the process.
