Nacelle doesn’t do much really, and posts will probably not be completely consistent. But I want to join in on the standing, as one of few known Nacelle-heads , I have to represent him.

All posts will be tagged #Nacelle standing if they involve Nacelle.

got any stories about your coworkers messing up? like hotlink attempting to fix a microwave? or anything else that comes to mind?

The microwave incident was not some hypothetical. Though let it be known, it wasn’t- is still not- criticism. Hotlink is a genius. Of course, he is. Give him a slagged piece of machinery and a shot of nightmare fuel, and he’ll have it working better than ever in half a day at maximum. It’s just, well, he likes making improvements. Sometimes these improvements do not really make things better. This is very true in this case, because there are no improvements to be made with a microwave. It’s already been perfected. You cannot tell Hotlink stop, or no though, not when it comes to his tinkering. He just won’t listen.

But the microwave can’t be improved, not by Hotlink anyways. Making it faster, or hotter, or more radioactive. Some of that sounds fine. Except, Hotlink builds weapons for a living. His favorites are the ones that can smelt stuff.

Suffice to say:

It exploded. And then there wasn’t even anything to fix. We were microwave-less until we managed to secure a new one. Weeks later.

And as for wording. Well, I think coworker is accurate. Fellow Decepticon. Comrade. Some people are friends. Hotlink’s a friend.

Favorite? Bitstream. Thats accurate enough.

Least favorites however… now that’s a toughie….

I’ve had to work with the Constructicons at various times. They were... mainly fine. Hook is an outlier to that description.

I don’t have anything good to say about any of coneheads, especially seeing as they’re my superior officers when on the battlefield.

I was stationed with the Terrorcons for a bit. Only a bit, thank Vector Sigma. But it may have well been one of the worst times of my life.

I’m not sad. Lollipop? Why’d you add that. What value did that add. Or is there actually a lollipop- I’m not sad or anything, but a lollipop would make me feel better.

NACELLE how do you spend your free time

Even when not on shift I often find myself working. While it won’t be anything actually important, like a ship that needs maintenance, there’s still always something and someone that wants my assistance.

Of course, I’m not the only engineer the Decepticons have, and my talents are very wasted on the communal microwave. Sometimes that type of labor is a blessing in disguise though, you do not want to see what happens if you let Hotlink repair a microwave.

And I suppose when I have proper time to myself…. It’s probably obvious I like tinkering, or I wouldn’t tolerate the amount of it I’m made to do. Reading can be nice, given good material. Flying is perhaps too obvious, but I do enjoy it. Watching my colleagues work can be relaxing. Emphasis on can, because it can also be awfully stressful.

do you prefer the term mech, mecha, or something else? Personally when I think mecha I think both more femmine and plural at the same time

No, I can’t really say I have any preferences between those or other terms.

I appreciate the consideration; I’ll try and make it obvious if I don’t like what someone calls me.
