voicing only for the trio and what they read

scripted very well

avian Grian headcanon

his original sever was YHS which had all hybrid features turned off so he thought he was just a normal human the entirety of his childhood

then when Evo came around he wanted to turn it on for the hybrid players but with the older version (where it doesn’t have an option to turn it on) it would have caused a lot more glitches than necessary so it stays off and he’s still oblivious

then Hermitcraft comes along and he was told that hybrid features are turned on and thought nothing of it since it obviously doesn’t apply to him but then when he joins💥 boom💥wings but he is stupid/aff so he thinks this is just a symptom of The Watchers and immediately finds a way to hide them with his own watcher magic (boooooo 🍅🍅🍅) and it isn’t until he messes up hiding them and Xisuma catches a glimpse of his wings and basically goes “i don’t know how you hid those things and i’m not even going to ask but this place is safe you don’t have to hide your avian features” and Grian is still stupid so he is still fully convinced that the wings are watcher magic stuff but rather than explain all that he just decides to keep them out and say that they are avian wings

it isn’t till season 8 with pearl (who is his sister #headcanon inside headcanon) and also has wings and she is like “kind of messed up that i we didn’t know we were avian until after our childhood” that he realizes they are actually avian wings and he is dumb but refuses to tell anyone about this series of events

sammy boy is not this antichrist devil that only knows how to abuse and manipulate, he's just quite faceblind and obviously mentally unwell. He do be a good buddy to his friends most of the time. He's the living intrusive thought/impulsivity, not pure evil.

taurtis is the most moral of them but he isnt exactly perfect, he's killed a guy or two and in the end was just as bad as the other two, though in a lighter way. he was the voice of morality for as long as he could though, so props for that.

grian is not pookie wookie abused soft boy, he's actually QUITE ruthless and became like sam to survive in that town (tbf that town was shit for all of them) he wasnt morally insistent, he was the voice of REASON, very big difference.

was so fun to watch the character development

people be like "yhs sucks you shouldnt watch it and just use it as angst for grian" like mf its dark media, its supposed to be funny and also make you a little uncomfortable lmao
