Heyyyy. Anyone want to come play Nadya's brother? If you're interested just let me know. If there's some things you'd like to change that makes you think you'd be able to better play him, just ask. Depending on what it is it may be just fine.
^-^. Thank you!
You are safe now.
She walked along the street, purse hanging from one arm, a shopping bag from the other. Large sunglasses hid most of her face. Behind her trailed two men, one was rather large and intimidating, the other was carrying more bags and was pushing a strolled in front of him.
As they waited to cross the street the baby started crying. Nadya shot the man a look and he quickly pulled the baby from the stroller and offered it out to her.
[text] I was thinking someplace nice to eat, unless you want to do something else.
Food is always a good choice. I have not really been out to eat very much, mostly because it is uncomfortable doing so alone. You receive a lot of looks, I do not like them.
[text] I wouldn't take you somewhere unsafe, Nadya.
That is true. Where would you want to take me?
[text] I'll take that as a compliment. I can do that, or I can take you out somewhere if you want, get you out of that hotel.
It is. Would it be safe?
[text] Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I'll let you know if anything else happens.
You are too much like my brother for me to believe you when you say you will be fine. But if you say so I will have to try. Do you think you can come visit me again soon? You are good company, and I do not just say that because I was drinking.
sent a few minutes later
I was trying to send a smiling face symbol, but I do not know how they are made.
[text] Part of the Picadilly line was blown up. I'm fine, I was at the station when it happened, but the city is a mess right now.
Thank you for warning me. I will just stay at the hotel then until things calmed down. I do not think I would manage well in such chaos.
Leander, please stay safe for me too.
[text] There was a bombing accident earlier. Avoid the tube for a while. Avoid the absinthe too.
How did I not know? What happened? Are you ok? I do not usually watch news, just cartoons so I should be ok.
[text] You alright, Nadya?
I am.. better. Thank you for helping me. Though perhaps I should stay away from Absinthe from now on. That was a little strong, even for a Russian. Ha.
"Look who decided to show. I was worried about you, love."
I feel I should blame you for my disappearance. It took me some time to recover from our drinking night.
I went to the movies today. I didn't know what to see so I asked the cashier. He recommended a movie I believe was called Kick Ass 2. Such a strange film.. I suppose it would have made more since if I had seen the first one. It was.. amusing though.
ooc
I come to visit and find porn.. well then...

Hello lovelies! I'm so sorry I haven't been around lately. Things have gotten busy, and I've been so exhausted that it's been hard for me to breath much less write. So I'm on a semi hiatus until things can calm down. When I have the ability to I will post on my various chars, but it won't be very often.
I'm so glad to see the dash busy again though, it makes me very happy and excited to come back once I'm able.
Love you all! Take care!
Rock Me Like a Hurricane | Felix and Nadya
Felix had a lot of plans for the day and most of them involved finding new places to hide the stuff he didn’t want Nadya to find—which was no easy task given his apartment was a single room. But he got caught up with work at the studio, since the boss wanted to discuss the semester’s exhibitions, and he was on a meeting with his publisher all morning, which meant when he arrived at his place, one hour before the time they agreed on meeting, Felix needed to make his bed, take a shower and organize everything for her arrival.
The shower took him fifteen minutes and the bed, another five. He slipped into comfortable plaid pants and a black t-shirt before starting to move his stuff out of the way. He started by moving the nude art out of the way—God knows how she’d feel about that, but he wasn’t about to find out, putting the paintings behind a stack of blank canvases.
Felix threw a white sheet over the unfinished canvas on the easel, by far his most personal project. He had been working on it since he arrived in England and he didn’t want to tell anyone about it, not until it was done.
Ten minutes left. He pushed the couch closer to the tv—with some difficulty—and prepared the guitar for the game. He smiled at the thought of Nadya kicking his ass at guitar hero and having fun with it. Felix sincerely hoped it’d cheer her up about the whole musician thing.
He was lost in thoughts when he heard the knocks on the door, jumping on his feet and nervously taking one last look at his place before walking through the door and down the stairs that took him to the three-story building’s front door.
Felix unlocked it excitedly, “Hey! Oh, wow, you came prepared for battle, didn’t you?” He laughed softly. “Let me help you with that.” He reached for the stack of boxes, freeing her arms from them. “Get in, make yourself at home.” He kicked the door close after she stepped inside and lead her up stairs. “Don’t pay attention to the mess, okay? I don’t… I don’t have guests over very often. It’s like peeking inside my mind and my mind is a very messy place. The messiest. I hope it’s not a problem…”
He had left the door to his apartment open and Beemo, the cat, snuck outside just as they reached it. “Oh… yeah. I hope you’re not allergic to cats,” Felix said with a frown. He should’ve said that earlier. “Come on, Beemo, show her the way.”
But the cat just sat in front of the door and started to lick his paw. “He is a stray,” Felix explained with a small smile, stepping inside the apartment, “he does what he wants.” He put down the pizza boxes on the coffee table and slid his hands into his pockets. “So… was it difficult to find the address?” he asked, nervous about her judging his place. He had never invited a girl over before.
At his laugh she felt oddly self conscious. Did she go overboard.. yeah.. she went overboard. "It.. it is not too much, is it?" She bit down on her lip nervously, this entire situation was so new to her, she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of her new friend. "Oh, thank you!" She gratefully handed over the boxes, setting the bags down inside the door. "It is fine. I am not usually a guest, so I have no other places to compare it to." Her town didn't really give away if she was joking or not, but that was how things often where with her, her sense of humor needed some work. "I feel like my mind is very neat, and organized, with a card catalog and reference books. But sometimes the books like to fall off the shelves..." She just trailed off for a moment, what was she even saying? Rambling like this wasn't her usual style. She pursed her lips, almost in an attempt to keep more rambling from spilling out.
At the appearance of the cat she tilted her head to the side, peering down at him curiously. "Honestly? I do not know. We never had a pet, and as far as I am aware none of the other places I went had pets either.. Oh I take that back. Father did have a tiger once. That was... bad... I do not think it is the same though."
Seeing that the cat went no where Nadya reached down and warily patted him on the head before stepping further inside the apartment, slipping her shoes off as she went. An odd habit she had when she was trying to relax, was to just be barefoot. She even once argued with her music instructor that it helped her to better perform, then proceeded to prove herself right. Even if the proof was compromised a little in her favor.
"I would hope not, I rode a taxi. I do no drive and with so much stuff.. It seemed the easier route."
Her eyes had been straying around the apartment, taking it all in. The signs of his interests, hobbies, and skills littered around the place. Some in messily, others placed with pride. It was a home. Very different from a house now that she was here. She smiled to herself. "You have a lovely home, Felix." She noticed the canvas, covered with a sheet, and even she knew better than to pry about it. So instead she turned her attention towards the couch and the game that was set up. "Ok. Show me how to win." There was no humor this time, she was completely serious. That was just how she was taught, you win. There is no other option.
