Warm summer wind was blowing. Kyoto streets were full of playing, running and walking kids. Everyone was having fun in their free time and main street had a lot of these stands, where you can play some games, such as “shoot ducks” to win prizes.
Nagato walked down the street, silently avoiding any possible contact with people. Another crazy day with Haruhi was over and Yuki was returning home. When suddenly someone called her: “Yuki! Yuki, is that you? Yuki, help us!”.
Nagato slowly turned her head towards source of that noise. It was Kyon’s sister with her friends. They all were borderline sad, ready to cry. Nagato silently looked at them.
Realizing, that Yuki have nothing to say to her, girl started her complaint: “There is this game, where you should throw ring and if you hit 3 out of 3 you get prizes. Main prize is board game we all want, but we never can hit them. Not even one! Help us PLEASE!”.
Nagato looked at stall, Kyon’s sister was talking about: “I see”. Then she walked towards it. Not saying a word she gave 200 yens to a man in this stall. This man with his bristle had huge smile on his face. That smile you usually see, when people successfully outwitted you. He started to demonstarate his game: “Look: you have to hit three circles on these posts” - He starte to throw circles he had in his hands and one by one he hit all of them. - “Depending on how much you hit - you will get better prizes.” He left circles on the post and gave Nagato another three - taken from under his stall.
Nagato answered “I see.” and smile on this man’s face became even bigger: ofcourse his game was unfair: he gave to players much smaller circles - impossible to hit. Sometimes he gave them one or two good circle to let people win small prizes. Ofcourse, he already was celebrating his another free money. Little did he know: Nagato knew his cheats even before she approached this stand.
Yuki started to pronounce something unclear, directly loooking at circles she had. Man laughed: “Haha, using magic spells? Haha!”. He was staring at Nagato as she threw all circles. Without even looking at her result he said: “haha, bad luck today, I see. Try ano...” at this moment he turned to posts to pick up circles and his grin disappeared faster than light. All three circles were hanging on post: Nagato hit them all. “Impossi..” wanted to shout man, but realise his cheats would be revealed then. He was sweating as he was in sauna. “Woah, what a sniper! Here is your prize!” He handed huge beatiful board game, he was proud of, to Nagato. Kids around were celebrating and laughing: “WOAH Thank you Yuki! We love you!” - they shouted.
“Take.” - said Nagato, handed board game to Kyon’s sister and silently continued her way home.
