Forest Fair Village (formerly Cincinnati Mall). 2011.

This 1,500,000 sq. ft. mall had 2 movie theaters, an arcade, a Ferris wheel, and a carousel when it opened in 1989. Decline started early; in 1990, 3 department stores closed because they were considered too upscale for the market.

It currently has 3 stores, and is set to be demolished in 2019.

McFarland Mall. Tuscaloosa, AL. opened 1969. partially demolished 2014, closed 2016. a new “lifestyle open center” is supposed to be built on the site.

Vallco Shopping Mall (formerly Cupertino Square and Vallco Fashion Park). Cupertino, CA. opened 1976. had 190 stores at one time; it now has 7. The first floor has been entirely shuttered.
