Thank you for your reply! I just read about the imposter syndrome and I feel this has been eye opening! Im gonna try to work on it, I think college affected me more than I thought. I hope one day I can feel better about this tho!

sometimes I feel guilty of my “luck” and by that I mean most of the time

I finished college last year on december (that’s how my country works btw) and one of professor sent me a mail asking me if I was interested in an intership in one of the labs so I agreed... 

what I didnt know was that out of the 3 interns she was going to pick one of us to get an actual job there, I got the job /they also gave me an extra job too so yay?

now here is the thing...only 3 classmates (including me) have a job rn and I was actually able to hire one of my friends in the lab. BUT I feel so guilty because there is a lot of my classmates that I think are better than me? 

I feel like my professor shouldnt have choosen me for the intership

I also dont feel like out of all the interns I deserved to be the one who got the job (even if we didnt know there was gonna be a job) 

and then I keep getting these amazing opportunities and it makes me feel bad, I know I should feel good! I should be happy but Im not

I just feel like Im fake and that one day everyone is gonna realize Im actually dumb... that they are gonna be disappointed 

I dont feel I deserve all these people praising me, sometimes I just wanna quit everything so I can stop the guilt. I shouldnt be the one who is able to have a stable job during this pandemic cause I dont deserve it, a lot of my old classmates deserve it but not me 

ughh this is dumb I just wish I could be happy for what I have and stop feeling guilty

woof do i have thoughts about demon slayer!! on the positive side, i was following the manga before the anime came out and i really admire gotouge’s art style! i drew like one thing of nezuko fanart, but i also made my favorite characters’ outfits in animal crossing lol...

i don’t want to talk about the ending in case there’s ppl who are anime-only and don’t wanna be spoiled... so i’ll just say “demon slayer’s aesthetics are the best thing about it” and leave it at that haha
