That ball in her mouth came all the way from Japan. It is the only place we can still find their favorite balls. Which is why I traipsed in and out of dog stores while I was there a few weeks ago just to *see* if I could find any more. I am, if nothing else, a good dog-human to these two. Always in service. Today found us at the Jordanelle Reservoir to escape the 90 degree #SLC heat and have a proper swim and lots of excellent fresh air and sunshine. This morning, while retrieving my medicine at The Coffee Garden, I remarked to a woman seated at the community table that I loved her hat and asked her if she was participating in @womensmarchonwashington She told me, enthusiastically, that she was marching in Seattle and that I was the first person who recognised her hat for it's special purpose. She said she was making MANY to give away and then she graciously took the one off her own head and put it on my own! I will be wearing this proudly in #parkcity for the march on my birthday. It was such a beautiful and loving gift! I just love how we find beauty and open hearts everywhere around us if we just wander through this world with our own heart wide open, too. 💓 (at Coffee Garden)

Never underestimate the kindness of strangers. It is absolutely the love of humanity that keeps this world spinning around. My coffee was a gift from a complete stranger this morning. A smiling young man. Cute as can be. And just now, a very sweet old woman brought me a warm vegan pastry simply because I have been so gentle and kind to her. She thanked me for always making HER days better and brighter and for being so patient with her. But isn't that why we are all here? To love each other through?!
