Update
Hey guys :) I just thought I’d pop back in really quick to give some good news and bad news.
The good news is that this hiatus has been extremely helpful. I’ve learned so much within these past couple of weeks and wow. What an eye opener.
I’ve spent more time with my close friends and family, getting out of the house and celebrating each other.
I’ve fallen in love with reading once again. I’ve always been an avid reader but these past couple of months has been a struggle to even contemplate picking up a book. In one week I read 3 books! It’s helped me fine tune my own writing techniques and given me some great ideas on how I want to approach my author voice and my writing style.
Continuing the previous paragraph, I’ve been writing nonstop. I’ve written about 6k words this week alone? I brain stormed a new original work with my husband and I’m pretty excited about it and can’t wait to dive more into this new world I’m creating.
I’m still suffering from my injury but I’m not giving up anymore. Instead of sitting on my butt, I’ve gone back to the gym. There’s still a lot I can’t do regarding the injury but I’m making the most of it! I’m slowly getting my strength back and honestly? I’ve never felt more motivated.
Now for the bad news...
All of this said, I think it’s time for me to leave Nambewb behind. My heart breaks a little because I’ve had some good times here. I’ve met some amazing people, gotten great feedback, and overall just had a ball. But it hasn’t been fun lately and this hiatus has shown me that I am more than just Snail aka Nambewb.
In regards to my work, I’m taking it all down. There’s some stuff I want to tweak and rework. I’ll leave my blog up as an archive for all that I’ve reblogged, but...I’m taking down my work, my about me...everything.
Thank you to everyone who has ever supported me, believed in me, and comforted me throughout this process and before then as well.
If anyone wants to be able to get ahold of me, you can still message me here! I’ll leave the blog up :)
TLDR: I’m leaving this blog and taking my work with me
