the leaf shirt is coming along, thinking if I still want to make it a one shoulder thing or if I wanna clean up the shoulder and side seam on the side i was gonna chop. i think i definitely won't have time to do the spiderweb idea I had on that side before Saturday. which was gonna replace the section I would cut out. there's also a lot of really cool moss and fungus ideas I would like to incorporate but I gotta be realistic, I've spent most of my time on this and I would still like to make pants (but I'm very good at not making pants). the idea is really daunting but I think I could get away with a lighter weight fabric if I make it really baggy and loose so that the leg seams would see like, no stress ever ever, aside from holding pieces of fabric together and floating lightly in the air...

a couple years ago i was really fixated on designing these arboreal people who descended from lab rats but were spliced with like.... some serraninae and hypoplectrus species for. some reason (for funsies). inspiration fishies under the cut
