//Been thinking of RPing a Bloodborne AU of Judas here or on another blog, seeing as how there’s already at least a handful of RP blogs in that fandom
idk how big this muse will be, so I don’t want to make another separate blog only to have 3 posts...in total. Over the span of several months. That and I’ve put in what, 5 hours into the game and haven’t even gotten past Central Yharnam yet? (I suck at this game btw)

“Hey Judas…don’t you live around here? I know I’ve seen you a few times that I’ve come into town.”
"Yes..." Judas pointed to the cathedral that loomed over the square. "I work at the church." He didn't want to just say he was supposed to have been keeping watch there all day instead of going to some feast. Nor did he want to reveal that he actually lived there. Besides, he was kind of curious as to what Bree's home looked like since she supposedly lived in the vicinity of Emain Macha. He was rather envious of her; she was probably secluded where she lived, while he had to deal with the clergy breathing down on his neck every moment.
He noticed Umbra looking at him, maybe with some weird expression as always, but overlooked it. He vaguely remembered telling her that he worked here, but it seemed like yesterday. What seemed like months ago was a short fleeting moment in the life of a Milletian.
In response to (x) & (x)
The three of them were soon together again as they stepped out of the dungeon and away from the entrance. The winged girl explained to them where her home was, and it sounded like it was quite close to the church. That meant they'd have to cross the bridge right by it. He hoped that Wyllow, if he was outside, wasn't going to spot him off-duty. He was supposed to be subbing in for James today, but the feast invitation out of nowhere sent him completely off-task.
If they approached the square, he'd definitely feel more nervous at the sight of the cathedral.
In response to (x)
He didn't like the feel of this place, even after this feast was supposedly over and done with. He felt like the monsters of the forest would come and snatch them away if they so pleased.
So far they had been walking along unscathed, and his mind started to feel more at ease. He didn't notice what Bree had noticed, now that he was being a little self-indulgent in this relatively peaceful moment.
The winged girl motioned at them to walk into the altar. Hopefully it would take them out of here.
...oh. What's that?
Judas spotted a small gem on the ground and immediately bent down to pick it up. He unsheathed his sword for one brief second, the gem dissipating in its glow.
Here. I hope you're happier. That's all I found for now.
Oh well...it'll do.
Sauth was still unhappy and unfed, but he would have to just wait. He put the sword back in his sheath before continuing to walk towards Bree. "Going!" He looked back at Umbra for a brief second to see if she would go too. Not that he was concerned for her safety.
Judas: [AGGRESSIVELY IGNORES YOU AS HE SELLS OFF THAT 10 CM DIAMOND FOR 50K]
In response to (x) & (x)
"What’s that supposed to mean?"
He gave only a blank and unamused look in response, apparently in no mood for petty quarrels. Seemed like his vexations were now directed elsewhere.
Both of them drew their weapons out, in the event they were likely to come across things that would attack them. He probably shouldn't strain his spirit sword anymore for the time being. In fact, he really needed to find something to feed him with. Anything would do at this point. Even though Nekyu had eaten only a part of his soul, he seemed to be in bad shape.
He would follow whoever was leading the way. Obviously he'd never been to neither of their houses.
...well, here's to hoping they don't get attacked. He would practically have to fight empty-handed, save for a few magic and close combat skills.

Judas glared at Nekyu one last time as the host left them be. I'll get my vengeance on you, I swear. When he was better prepared, he would. Maybe he might host another event...who knows. He'll be waiting for that day to come.
Umbra was reacting maybe a little too casually, on the other hand. As much as he wanted to kill him, he wouldn't dare provoke the host any further. He didn't exactly trust in neither her or Bree's powers to save them, to be honest. (lol ok master archer w/ a bdk bow and druid is not enough to convince him apparently)
Speaking of the winged Milletian, she invited both of them to her home for the night. His first thought harbored suspicion. Why would you want to do that? It was a hospitality he wasn't used to, in all his years living.
But his doubts were quickly dismissed when he realized that Bree posed no threat. He had no idea about Umbra though, especially considering they are generally not on good terms. Maybe he should just go home to his church...
Egh. And have to deal with Wyllow scolding him for being somewhere he wasn't supposed to be? Or even worse, James? He'll deal with that in the morning.
"Mm..alright. I'll stay over too, if you don't mind." He gave a quick glance at Umbra. "I'll try not to get in your way," he said without any of the usual mocking bitterness he had, not caring how she would interpret that. Honestly, he was pretty much 350% done with tonight and trying to deal with church authorities was a bigger hassle to him right now. (good job Judas put it off so it'll become an even bigger problem later on)
In response to (x) & (x) & (x)
Judas caught the spirit sword, by the hilt luckily. But it had pretty much been a giant butter knife anyway, so he didn't need to worry too much about cutting himself. Who knows, the blade might have become even duller with what that...creature did to him. (he's now -5 social level? ;-;)
Sauth, as if awoken from a fresh dream, was mostly unresponsive when Judas tried to reach out mentally to him.
Dammit...why did you trust him? He ate part of your soul! Do you know how dangerous that is?
...I'll be fine.
After all, the spirit had already given part of his soul to someone before Nekyu. He still didn't know who the figure from his past was exactly, but somehow he felt like he became closer to the answer after the host had taken a bite out of him. What was odd though was that he looked like Judas...
Why did it still hurt so much when he thought about that?
The priest, still shaken and infuriated, remained silent and observed the slight quarrel between Umbra and the host, then with yet another familiar face he swore he had seen somewhere.
Then Nekyu hit his head against Bree's, and she rubbed her neck as if the pain was located there. Weird.
She fell back in her chair with a loud thud. Clumsy, isn't she.
"...you ok there?" He asked tersely. He hoped the host would leave them alone by now. He was not in the mood to be on peaceful terms with him.
In response to (x) & (x)
Judas could do nothing but stare at Nekyu devouring his master's soul. A rage coursed through him; he trembled, hardly unable to contain his anger. He reached out, almost trying to tugging the sword away from him.
"...I'm sure he's grateful for your help, but I'll take him back now," he spoke through gritted teeth, fiery red eyes locked with his. Although he tried to hide his emotions like he normally could, it was pretty clear he was well pissed off by now. He was not about to lose another person he cared for.
He wanted so badly to impale him to bits. But this monster..he eats souls, by the looks of it. How would he even fight him? Why did he come so unprepared?
He heard the sheathing of a weapon and found Umbra, bow at the ready. Is she crazy? he thought, waiting to see what would happen next.
In response to (x) (This basically became its own short webcomic b/c my feels) (This music was what I originally had in mind for this, tho Nekyu's bgm is pretty cute ;A;)
In response to (x) & (x) & (x)
(also bgm because I can)
Umbra seemed to be acting kind of strange...well, no matter. Hopefully this ordeal will be over soon. Bree was even trying to help the elf back to her senses. The winged girl gave a faint smile to him, and Judas returned the smile back out of politeness.
Then the host suddenly showed up at their table. Judas tried to look away as he held up an eyeball close to his slithering tongue.
...what species is he? I've never seen anyone like him. Judas felt nervous under Nekyu's gaze. It's not that he was scared of his offers. He couldn't really trust him to keep his end of the bargain.
I must feed.
On what? There's nothing you can eat here...
I mus̛t ͝fee҉d.͏
In response to (x) & (x)
"No, why would I carry something as worthless as a small gem? And don’t you ever feed him more expensive gems?"
He almost expected that answer and shook his head, muttering under his breath. "You wouldn't understand..."
Bree had prompted them to go check out the feast, so he followed the two behind. The fire let them pass, almost as if it had a will of its own.
They came upon a rather large feast waiting for them. Some of the dishes looked amazing and smelled really good, but upon second glance he noticed that some of them looked...odd. Were those eyeballs? What...
He finally saw the host who had brought all of these people together. Nekyu, was that his name? He could have sworn he looked kind of familiar. He recalled very hazily checking out some Yule Ball place and then getting drunk...of course. He had been a woman then, and wore a really extravagant and very expensive dress that he had to basically steal from a "friend."
"Uhm..I’m over here! Come join me?"
Well, he can't be rude. He joined the table where Bree sat. Umbra would just have to deal with his company if she decided to eat with her.
He took a seat across from her, and eyed the food with a wary gaze. After what had happened to him and to the others, he was beginning to reconsider if the host was actually more than he seemed.
You have to eat it.
That is, if you want the deal.
What deal? Sure, Judas was hungry but...he looked at him suspiciously.
"Mmm...I'll pass, thanks," he mumbled to himself, his message intended for Nekyu if he would hear it. He went back to staring at the food and then looking around, seeing what the other guests are up to. I'll just eat at Loch Lios afterwards, he thought complacently.
But Sauth was getting very hungry.
In response to (x) & (x)
"Hey, your mage spirit sword seems a bit hungry."
"Mm? Yes, I'm aware of that." He shrugged, but subtly gave Umbra a suspicious look. How did she know it was supposed to be a mage? Has she perhaps met him before? It seemed bizarre to think about that, but it was a possibility. Admittedly, there were a lot of things he still didn't know about his former master, and all this time he had never bothered to ask. A sour feeling settled in his stomach as he realized that.
"He'll be fine, I'm sure." If Sauth could speak right now and wasn't held back by the sheath, he'd have something to say otherwise.
"Though...I don't suppose you have anything as simple as a small gem for him? I've been ill-prepared."
Nothing bigger than a worthless trinket and the spirit won't regain his memories.
"Judas…here."
Bree handed him a red vial. He didn't really need it to be honest, but he took it anyway with a faint smile. "Oh, thanks..."
He took a rather small dose of it for now, feeling revitalized the instant it poured into his mouth. The girl was perhaps a Druid then? She seemed rather skilled in magic, and brought potions with her. There was one other Druid he knew, but...his time was long past. He was now safeguarded with him as his spirit companion, fed a very minimal amount of material. For his own good, he believed.
In response to (x) & (x)
“Judas! Get away from the flames. It’s a bit dangerous to be over there!”
Brought back to the reality before him, he took a couple of steps back from the flames and turned around.
Judas made his way back to her, now safely away from the bonfire. As he did, he also saw a familiar face: a green-haired elf, wearing some kind of military-ish uniform. They seem to be crossing paths quite a bit. Fortunately, he was rather exhausted both physically and mentally to get worked up over it, so he gave a simple nod of recognition to the elf.
"Wel...I guess we should go see what the host is serving," he said to both of them. Truth be told though, he kind of sounded like he was done with it all.
(tl;dr Judas screaming and cursing)
In response to (x)
Bree had a drink of something red. Probably a potion? Judas forgot to pack those too, or rather didn't think he'd need them. For the most part, he hadn't been in need of those but then again he was kind of making others do his work.
The two finally found the large opening in the forest, with the bonfire already lit and the witches captured. All three of them it seemed. There were a few other people around, most likely guests like themselves.
...hm. The anxiety stirred inside him again.
He looked at the burning carcasses on the stake, thinking about what to contribute to their deaths if he wanted to be free of his nightmares.
...burn them alive, that's what the voice told him.
He found himself back in his home, to a time where he wanted to leave and be done with everything.
In response to (x)
And yet the mysterious voice talked to him again as it did to Bree, as if it was getting impatient even. This time about burning the witches. So he'd have to burn this Ourm, or at least kick him where it really hurt or whatever...that wouldn't be a problem.
Judas would have helped tackle the witch they thought was Ourm, but instead the next thing he saw in his place was himself.
(idk this image is kinda disturbing to look at in case you don't like people who look like jeff the killer...idk. it's 4 in the morning)
