This white haired girl was very quiet, even when speaking you could barely hear what she was saying. Maybe sheâll change once Sayaka starts to talk to her more, or at least thatâs what sheâs hoping.
Instead of replying to the girl, she just gave her a big smile in attempt to make the other girl a little more lively. Ah, well that didnât work out too well.
Things grew quiet between them and it seemed like the surrounding people got even louder than they were before. It looked like the other girl was thinking of something to say and Sayaka didnât want to be as rude as to interrupt her. That would just make her think even longer, right? Luckily things grew a bit more lively when she spoke her name. âIâm Sayaka Maizono, Super Highschool Level Idol! Itâs very nice to meet you!â
There was a silence between them and before Sayaka got the chance to say anything the other spoke up again. âOh thatâs fine, I can speak enough for the both of usâ She said energetically, adding a cute smile to the end.
"... ..."
Perhaps Chiaki has spoken too quietly, because it seems like her words weren't really registered. She wasn't good at conversations for starters so she could understand why. The gamer also awkwardly smiled back. They both didn't have wrong intentions, it was just how the situation came to be. Chiaki wondered if she was being too quiet because she was thinking so much.
The silence stopped when Sayaka introduced herself. It felt like the atmosphere around them brightened. Chiaki supposed it was natural for an idol like Sayaka to have such a energetic effect. Â
Chiaki nodded and listened intently. "Thank you." It was quiet again so she decided to attempt to strike up a topic for once. "What is being an idol like...?" Chiaki said with a louder tone than her usual gentle and murmured speaking.Â
Your valentine is Junko Enoshima!
â⊠⊠âŠâ
Nanami sleepily tilted her head, letting her mind wander with thoughts about Valentines day. Her valentine was Junko Enoshimaâ Chiaki heard many things about the girl from other people.
If the gamer had to point out the genre she was least talented at, it would be otome and romance. But nevertheless⊠she will definitely try her very best!
Reentering (Open!)
Appearing in front of the school building, Kuzuryuu felt uneasy. With some of the year already past, he probably lost the chance to become friends with others as they would already be in their own groups. He sighed and muttered to himself.
âOh well. Not like it was different from before.â He recalled the first few days he was here, sitting in class intimidating everyone who would talk to him just because of his family. It wasnât that he didnât like his family, just wished everyone would give him a chance. But on the 3rd day, he and Peko got into a little fight, resulting him to be sent to the hospital for a few weeks.
Feeling over his eyepatch, he straightened up. âHopefully none of those retards bothered to talk smack about me while I was gone.â Opening the doors, he peeked in to see the halls were empty. He headed towards a classroom door that seemed like his first periodâs. He forgot a bit how his schedule went.
As he opened the door it seemed to have smacked into a bystander. âHey! Watch where you stand you idiot.â âNice first impression there, dumbass.â he thought about himself.
It was still the beginning of school so Chiaki was deeply immersed in her PSP, not taking her eyes off of the game she walked into the class. It hasn't started yet so she took the time to complete one of her favorite games. The windows of the room radiated with sunshine, which she decided to avoid since the shine of it would reflect on her PSP's screen. She went to the place that faced opposite the light. Unfortunately, she wasn't paying any attention to where she was standing because suddenly a moving door hit her--
Puffing her cheeks with a pout, she protectively embraced herself where the impact was and she looked to the person in front of her. Certainly their words were a bit harsh but Chiaki admitted that it was true she stood at the wrong place.
"Ah, I'm sorry... I should have checked where I was going." She said apologetically. She didn't blame him for getting angry at her. Regardless of anything, Chiaki was still friendly to everyone. The gamer hasn't seen this student before; was he new? She secretly admired his eye-patch though. She thought it was a really unique item, definitely out of the ordinary and would be like something from her games. Maybe like a collector's edition? With a kind genuine smile she said "Your eye-patch looks really cool... I hope we can be friends."Â

âWe are roommates! i am excited to finally have one.â She munched on her donut, and pondered it divine sweet dough. âDo you stay up late or get up late or anything? I am very particular about my sleep schedule, so I will try to be quiet if I am up before you.â
Asahina though for a second she had heard Chiaki wrong about the best breakfast food in the world. âNever had a donut?!â Aoiâs horror could not be contained. âTry one! Try ten! They are the best EVER!â Asahina was shouting at that point, and had started to draw some attention to the table. Nanami seemed quiet, and Aoi felt badly for causing a mini-scene over her donuts.
âEh, haha. Sorry about that. I am a little energetic in the mornings.â
"I am happy to have a roommate too." Chiaki said with a cheerful tone. "I never had a roommate one until now..." So far, her experience at school has been good. Asahina was very friendly and the gamer was glad that she met her. "Thank you, that's very considerate of you." Chiaki sleeps in late sometimes due to her late night gaming. "I'm not a light sleeper so I think it'll be alright."
Nibbling on the donut that Asahina gave her, she could tell why the girl liked donuts so much. "They're really delicious." She said with a smile.Â

Chihiro wandered down the hall as the day reached its end. Walking in the hall was like being in the ocean with a fierce current, and said current manages to change direction every 10 seconds. The petite boy settled for just shuffling along whenever he could, his heels making faint clicks on the floor as he slowly proceeded.Â
A girl a few meters ahead of him caught his eye. Chihiro noticed she was carrying the same programming textbook he used in his class. âIâŠIs she in my class?â he thought, âNo⊠I think there was only one girl in my class, and she has a darker hair color than this girl-â
Deep in thought about the identity of this mystery girl, Chihiro continued down the hallway without much thought to his surroundings. He wasnât thinking when he passed her locker and heard her speak softly. He especially wasnât thinking when he thought her quiet words were directed at him and responded.
âHello? DâŠDid you say something?â Chihiro looked up to her and noticed her small hairclip. Pointing to it he continued, âIs that from an old game? Itâs cuteâŠâ
In the midst of her pondering, Chiaki suddenly heard a greeting. She wasn't yet sure that it was meant for her, Chiaki turned towards to the kind figure that timidly spoke.
Her eyes lit up on recognition when she saw it was a fellow classmate from her Programming class. Admittedly, her interest lies within playing games, not really making them. However, her father was a programmer so she was taught some skills beforehand.  Although, the gamer normally dozes off in class, she couldn't forget one of the top students, Chihiro Fujisaki.
She brushed a strand of her hair lightly back and smiled. "Hello..." She friendly returned the salutation. "I was just talking to myself before." Chiaki admitted. Tilting her head, she hesitantly said "I'm not that good at speaking to others in reality until I know them well so I was making a self-note." Were her choice of words too awkward-sounding? She hoped she didn't make a bad impression.Â
At the mention of her clip, Chiaki's hand reflexively grasped it. "Thank you very much...! It is from a game that's not from this decade." She nodded. "Do you play games?"
â [o p e n]
âHey!â Asahina waved to the tired looking girl, and ran over.
âIâm Asahina. You look a little dazed and confused. Or dazed or confused. Iâm not really sure! You could say I am dazed and confused about it!â Asahina laughed, realizing that she was rambling, and hardly making and sense.
âIf you want to, you can dome sit with me and put your books down and we can talk. I was just eating a snack. I hope you like donuts!â
Asahina walked to her table, and sat down.
âCome on, there is plenty to go around!â
Turning to the person that suddenly ran to her, Chiaki was then greeted by a bright and ecstatic girl. The personality that this girl had might have been contagious because soon the gamer was feeling more awake than before.Â
"... Hello Asahina..." Chiaki trailed off. She tried to recollect her thoughts... Asahina... where has her heard that name before? "You're my new roommate, I believe..!" She said with a smile.Â
Chiaki looked at the treats that Asahina bought along with her with newfound amazement and curiosity. They did look certainly delectable. "I never tried a donut before." she said as she reached down a tried one. "Thank you..."
Hello, sleepyhead! I am so sorry for any confusion, but you will be moving to dorm room number 320, still on the fifth floor! Your roommate there will be Aoi Asahina! Enjoy her big ass breasts.
Chiaki rubbed her eyes and dozily looked at the principal. "Ah... a new room? Okay, got it." She wondered what kind of person her new roommate would be.
"Thank you for the notice."Â
â [o p e n]
Things were hectic, considering she was still getting use to the new set up of the school. She was a little exhausted, trying to get back into the swing of things. Wandering through the halls to get out to her dorm was just as bad as trying to find her way to her classes earlier. Nothing she could do about it now, plus she would get use to it eventually. While she was walking out she noticed all the small groups that were already caught up in conversation. That is, everyone but another girl that looked almost scared.
Itâs not like she had anybody to talk to, plus she wasnât in a rush to get anywhere, and she was the first person she saw that wasnât already grouped up with someone else. âBetter now than everâ she thought to herself as she walked up to the other student.
âHey! You looked lonely over here by yourself.â Sayaka told the other girl. Hopefully, the other wasnât freaked out that she approached her like she did.
The gamer broke out of her deep thoughts when she heard a voice directed towards her. She focused on a azure-haired girl standing in front of her. In a way, she radiated a really cheerful and friendly aura. Chiaki didn't recall seeing this student around before but that's probably because she didn't pay attention to her surroundings.Â
"Hello there..."
Chiaki smiled to the girl and brushed the loose strands of her hair lightly back behind her ear. What could she pay? She paused as she tried to devise a proper response. It would make sense to make an introduction... Option A: 'It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Chiaki Nanami.' Would that be too formal? She lightly tapped her forehead, trying to think of something different.Â
"My name is Chiaki Nanami. I'm a Super Highschool Level Gamer; I like all genres." She said with a light nod. "What about you?"
Noticing that her pondering before caused a silent drift between her and the other, Chiaki said apologetically "I'm not much of a good speaker... unless I prepare all the words that I want to say first in my mind..."
â [o p e n]
Carrying all of her heavy books, Nanami treaded along the busy hallways. She sighed slightly, she would have been immersed in a game right now if it weren't for the fact that she was carrying these books. The gamer dozed off in class again and had to finish her work after class so everyone else was probably leaving the school whereas she's just getting to her locker. She yawned as she put her books in her locker and got ready to leave. Â
"..."
Closing the door quietly, she turned around and observed the crowds. There was lots of scattered chatter in the distance. Everyone seemed friendly and approachable. "Should I make friends? What should I say...?" She murmured to herself. Nanami was accustomed to the world of games, where she could take time to collect her thoughts and compose an answer. She was not used to interacting with many people in real life...
WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?
Chiaki stared at the peculiar tumblrbot for a brief moment before answering. She tilted her head, pondering and trying to devise an answer that would suffice. Since she's always so immersed in her games, she's more knowledgeable about worlds that are not her own.
Finally she said, "I'm content where I am now so I guess I don't have a place that I'd like the visit the most on this planet yet..."
Character Application:
Personal Tumblr:Â gasaiyuno or kyoukos
Character Name and SHSL skill: Nanami Chiaki/Super Highschool Level Gamer
Character Age: 17
High School Year (1-4, Freshman-Senior): 4, Senior
Brief Biography: Nanami's history isn't all eventful. She constantly finds herself more focused in her games rather than reality. Nanami is an avid gamer who adores any type of game genre. Due to all her gaming, her knowledge is mostly deprived from it. Possibly, the only type of game that she has slight difficulty with are otome "dating sim" games. That is only because she is unsure of how to interact with people regardless of whether it's in game or reality. Nanami tends to carefully compose all of her speeches before she talks which leads to moments where she is really quiet. As she gets to know others better she'll open up and talk in a more natural manner. She also is knowledgeable about puzzles and is quite talented with them to a certain extent as well. Her past experience with them was that it was because her dad was a programmer and he would often create puzzles that were deemed impossible to solve. Her dad would use brute force to try to solve them. Nanami doesn't pay attention much to the outside world so she could give off the impression that she's clueless. However, if you ask her any tidbits or questions about any type of game and you'll get her rambling. In addition, another one of her interests is sleeping. When she isn't busy and immersed in a game, she will probably be dozing off somewhere. She dislikes alarm clocks and loud disruptions that'll wake her up.Â
Personality (can be a few sentences or a bulleted list):
Usually sleepy
Level-headedÂ
Calm
Quiet (since she is usually focused on her games)
Not much of a good speaker since she mainly tries to compose everything she says inside of her head first
Friendly to everyone
Nanami strives to be at least be of a bit of help to everyone
