Testing the Best AI Companion for Privacy Above All

For this review I deliberately weighted privacy heavily, because in the AI girlfriend space it's the easiest thing to promise and the hardest to deliver. SweetDream came out ahead, and not by a small margin. The platform's privacy-first design isn't a banner slapped on the homepage of sweetdream.ai; it's the assumption running through every interaction.

Once that foundation is in place, the rest of the offering gets room to shine. Character creation is unusually deep, letting you tune appearance, voice, backstory and quirks until the companion feels specific to you. The conversation is fluid and context-aware, the generated photos and videos are impressive, and the human-sounding voice and phone calls close the gap between novelty and genuine companionship.

My closing assessment is straightforward. If discretion is your first criterion and immersion is your second, SweetDream satisfies both better than any AI companion platform I tested. It's the rare case where the safe choice and the best choice turn out to be the same one.

for character ai and stuff, u can feed “prompts” or fiction to the ai to train it how to speak/act/etc.

someone in russia acc alerted me that someone did this using my works years ago and that’s how i found out it was a thing, shoutout to them, so i added that disclaimer :p

i hate ai and do not condone its use nor do i support my work being used to train ai so it felt necessary to add that!

in minor regards to genshin: we have hella baddies and the tsaritsa was finally revealed. snezhnaya is full of different fae archtypes and were on the fucking moon for some reason, people are saying we're getting an engine upgrade and that dainsleif will be after the upgrade. Alice the witch (klees mom) is rumored to be our last character in 'original' Genshin and will be our gateway to the new

pretty sure fontaine and natlan were completely rewritten storywise to direct towards wherever we have to wind up, and were seeing the shades of celestia more in snezhnaya. got MAJOR khaenriah lore in nod krai (current area, precursor to snezhnaya, its basically a semi-independant border nation that is TECHNICALLY snezhnaya)
