hi everyone sorry i havenāt been on at all- iāve been settling into college and levels and more recently iāve had family issues arise so i havenāt really been that motivated but since iāve been gone notes have been made and i will start posting them!
- just a reminder i do History (modern) , philosophy, religion & ethics and English languageĀ
gcse results! (keep reading)
hey guys sorry for not being active iāve been spending time with family and friends as the summer draws to an end. So my results....
Advice on how to cope with your emotions on exam results day and tips to help you avoid getting too stressed.
quick post to share this with you all! i got an email with this on and it is really useful especially if youāre prone (like me) to getting yourself worked up about exam results! good luck everyone :)
results day countdown!
how is everyone? surprisingly iāve gone nightmare free for the past couple of nights as gcse results day creeps up on us. i canāt believe the summer has gone by so quickly! crazy to think how different my life will be this time next year as iāll be halfway through my a-levels
what ways are people preparing for results day? what sort of activities de-stress you and take your mind of getting exam results?
late night results day worries
hi everyone sorry for such a late night post but i thought iād come online to seek some comfort as iām currently freaking out about results day that is on thursday!
these are my mock results (see image), which, in my opinion are very good. iām feeling a huge pressure to achieve well as i worked so hard and i know many people expect good results from me. what if i donāt meet their expectations for me...or even worse what if iām disappointed in myself. only i know how much i worked for these exams.
it is the same for everyone. online, especially in our community it seems as though everyone is studying 24/7- and for some it can be motivating but for others a huge blow. just because something looks pretty it does not mean the information has been learnt better than someone who doesnāt care about presentation- in fact the actual learning may have been side lined as the need to be aesthetically pleasing is moreĀ āimportantā
subjects overview
so for a-level iām doing (modern) history, english language, film studies and philosophy, religion and ethics. a-level is supposed to be a lot harder than gcse so over the summer iāve been looking at the specs etc and iām thinking of doing a post on each subject with a break-down of what iām going to learn etc.Ā
iām not sure if anyone would want to read about specific subjects but if youāre interested stick around and follow me :)
greetings
hey guys so iāve revived this account to keep track of my a-level studies. Hopefully it motivates you (and me too lol) as education is something we should cherish- many people long for an education the least we can do is make the most of it.
