ATTENTION! Found lost Star Stable media! An illustration from Johan Egerkrans (most likely, but I mean who else could have drawn this).

This was on the old website, allegedly at the part of the website where you could register for being a Test Rider (when SSO was in beta).

I digged this up on an old blog where the owner was posting about Star Stable back in 2010! A year before the game was even released in Sweden. Pretty insane stuff!

(And according to the blog owner, you could download one of the Star Stable Riders games if you completed a quiz on the SSO website back then).

I loveee these atrocious fur lined hoodies. Very appropriate for kids game. Im desperately trying not to do too much here. But startsable and non basic clothes is not their strong suit

Acsessories. Im trusting the white babies on sso with my beloved bamboo hoops. I know its not perfectly 2000's but i DEEPLY want to wear them in game.

Couldnt think of a hat... so hard ass headband. Idk how it will fit to every head im not a dev #notmyproblem

Cunty icy makeup. Doesnt have to be extravagnt, obviously wouldnt be. But a lil shimmer on the eyes, lil frosty lipgloss. Ykyk.

The new “free horse” is really getting on my nerves because the predatory tactics of sse are shining through so clearly.

I had no problem with the runerunner because it wasn’t a thinly veiled tactic to earn a fat paycheck by taking advantage of their dedicated players.

Most people using the code are active players making alt accounts. sse knows this, and they know the fact dedicated players are more likely to buy lifetime.

After spending many, many hours getting this horse you have the sunk cost fallacy on this new account, so now that lifetime is on sale why not buy it?

Never mind the fact that if you don’t get to level 12 within your free star rider trial days you’re barred from getting the horse without purchasing a subscription.

I’ve seen and talked to many players who have now bought these alt accounts or are contemplating buying lifetime for them.

This really pains me because I see passionate players being taken advantage of, they don’t just have a child advertising problem starstable has predatory tactics that spans across all age ranges.

I want to play and enjoy sso, but the rampant consumerism and lack of care for players hurts.

Something that was interesting to me is I always associated the art style of the starshine legacy comics with the art style of the w.i.t.ch comics I read as a kid. The endorsement of the witch series on the polish cd discs is an interesting crossover I’d love to know more information about, so far all I know is that the website link leads to the (polish localisation) official witch website which was shut down in mid 2013 with its counterparts.

This was my favorite makeup, The new version didn’t capture the original look so I thought it would be fun to reimagine it.

The updated characters are such a huge step up but I wish sse delivered on the concept art they released

I feel like a drop of a few more hairstyles, body presets and faces would be incredible + sse would probably gain huge favour from the community

Also alternative hairstyles I’m begging 😭 what they did to the choppy bob and spiky ponytail is diabolical
