We are maintaining this blog for the purpose of exploring and sharing business ideas with our classmates and potential partners in developing a business plan.  Grotta is one of the once famous night clubs in Makarska. It is located in a natural cave and its dancefloor is placed directly above the sea. Because of its specific location the visuals in the club are often just the reflections of the sea and the waves. The diversity of the club music programme, the diversity of sea waves and the shape of the cave were just inspiring. 

Today Grotta doesnt exist any more as in once was. the place is devastated and littered with trash. But i think it could be just as it once was, a beautiful and romantic place to spend time with friends and loved once. Its such an inspiring project on a unique destination. Hope that one day its gonna be a beautiful restaurant or wining and dining place. 

So this is a cafe, but not any kind. It’s the most unusual one. A most unusual garden is located at the end of Savska street in Zagreb. On the terrace of the cafe there is a tree with a romantic tree house. The interior of the place is nicely decorated as well – there are drawings on the walls, vintage lamps, old clocks. The atmosphere is totally bohemian, arty and vintage. It might give you the sensation of being in a 1920’s movie.

Mate Rimac is an innovator and entrepreneur who has designed the world’s first electric supercar, the Concept One. At the age of 19 he decided to merge his two passions – cars and technology and in 2007 he began converting an old E30 BMW in his parents’ garage. In 2009, he started his company Rimac Automobili with a plan to develop high performance electric vehicles. His company engineers and manufactures its own cars and also develops and produces cars and prototypes for other companies.

Mate Rimac has won many awards for various innovations, including iGlove, a glove which has sensors and effectively replaces a keyboard and mouse, and his Active Mirror System which eliminates blind spots. This innovation was licensed by a European automotive supplier in 2008. In 2013, Rimac founded a new company, Greyp Bikes. The company manufactures e-bikes which are both a bicycle and motorcycle.
