HIATUS || This account is going on a hiatus as of now. Permanent, semi, I haven’t decided yet, but my Phoebus muse is lacking, and a forced muse is a bad one. Phoebus sighed through his nose, eyeing the woman over with scrutiny once more before proceeding. He believed her, of course-- it seemed logical. There hadn’t been any settlers around, nor did any seem interested in going themselves, for what the mercenary dismissed as no time. Phoebus would certainly be demanding his payment later all the same.

“I wouldn’t say I’m blaming anyone. I simply didn’t know of this rule, and find it unjust for you to so quickly criticize.”

Straightening, the Frenchman brushed the remnants of dirt to the best of his ability from his palms before shaking out his gloves. Pulling them on, he cleared his throat.

“And where would you have the people retrieving their food from? Some other abundant river you have claimed for yourself? Perhaps to bring it for ourselves from overseas? Is there a settler appointed river?”
