I’m not sure about any other states but NEW JERSEY has the Good Samaritan law (Overdose Prevention Act) if you are with someone who is using and overdoses, please please call 911 instead of panicking and fleeing the scene!! you will not be arrested even if you were using as well!! A majority of states in the US have this law (or some type of Good Samaritan act) passed so make sure you check and be safe!!
