Dominique-School library. It had the book on display for the new stuff for quite a bit before I picked it up out of boredom thinking there was no way it could be bad because it's vampires in Paris
Klavier-Either an Objection.lol video or during the time where everyone was making their own gacha version of Objection funk. I remember vaguely hearing about it before though. For Klavier himself, it was the I want it that way x Maya's theme video where Klavier makes an appearance
Daemon-Might have been the Youtuber Blake last year. I actually did not het Daemon spoiled for me, so it was entirely new
Mollymauk-Dad followed the campaign back when it was live. Watched the VODs as they came out. First proper introduction to Critical Role was Vox Machina, but first introduction to the Mighty Nein was trough dad showing me an animatic of the legendary cupcake moment. Very excited to see it with full context tbh.
Narumauk stuff because Plushiemauk is home and I am very happy
He's so cute I love him so much
He's always wrapping his tail around Naru. It can be their wrist, ankle, waist, whenever they are close enough, there will be his tail affectionately wrapped around Naru.
Sometimes, when it's more quiet during the night, they play this game where Naru asks a question and Molly answers with the card from his deci that feels the most fitting to him and Naru has to guess what it means
There is a lot of PDA involved. Lots and lots of forehead kisses, pinkie fingers intertwining, hugging, neither of them really cares if it's seen poorly
Molly has a very specific scent. It's fruity with a faint hint of incense and a small floral touch. It was extremely stop during their first meeting (pre-canon), and while it's weaker now, it's always present. It mainly comes from the Carnival.

Mollymauk would first ask if I want any company. Of course I say yes, so at first he just sits next to me, wrapping her tail around my wrist or ankle and shuffling their cards. Once I calmed down a bit, he pulls a card, usually one with a positive meaning or something that I need to hear, even if its harsh. If I need more, she lets me hug them and cry into him for as long as we can. Sometimes Jester joins and show me some funny doodles to cheer me up
Alucard is also the type to offer a more quiet comfort. Keeping me company if needed, rubbing my back softly. He listens quietly if I start rambling about why I'm feeling like this and only chimes in if asked, never interrupting.
Gina stays if asked to and it takes her a bit to find her words, but once she does, she's actually pretty good at giving comfort. She isn't the type to get extremely physical, usually sitting next to me or back to back. Once I calmed down a bit, she offers to make a comfort food
Dominique immediately ask what's wrong, wrapping me in a hug and letting me explain while she strokes my hair. She never pushes, even if I say "nothing", she lets me cry onto her while tracing circles on my arms
Klavier gives me space first, asking if he can stay and quietly leaving if told no. If told yes, he'll ask if it's okay if he tunes his guitar or finishes some paperwork in the same room first, giving me a background noise that can pull me out of my thoughts, and once I calmed down, he asks more about what happened, still doing what he was doing, but listening carefully. He gives advices based off what I say and offers physical comfort if needed/asked
Aoi is always caught off-guard by this type of situation. Unsure of what to do, she asks "Are you alright? Do you need space or comfort?" And gives what is desired. She's not the best at physical comfort, but is a very good listener who gives great advices if needed
Tsubaki reacts similarly to Aoi, but often gets emotionally invested into what made me upset and gets almost mad at the situation, which earns a smile, especially since its caused by overthinking 80% of the time. If I don't talk about what made me upset, she usually sings to cheer me up
Kaoru goes for more subtle physical comfort if asked to stay. She never gives a full hug, but will sit next to me, taking my hand or rubbing my back to calm me down first. She will let me talk if needed or we can sit quietly until I'm ready to face the world again. If it doesn't seem to big, she will be more active tho, in the sense that she would actively try to cheer me up by making me laugh, which usually works
Daemon is the type to talk until I calm down. They don't make too much sense, but there are always sweet words in there. After I calm down, she will ask the cause and if it's something external, will immediately try to mess with it, if it's something internal, will give proofs against whatever my brain is being mean about
Extremely self-indulgent fic time cause my arms hurt. Mollymauk Tealeaf x Reader (?) (Reader is technically meant to be Naru, but I will try to leave it vague). Hurt/Comfort kinda deal where the hurt is sunburns. This probably isn't going to be my last of the year guys. Might be slightly OOC.
"Oh... It's that time of the year. Did I really spend that long outside?"
The answer is yes. When out collecting herbs, you had seen a couple of pretty birds and flowers and decided to sit down and doodle them. You hadn't noticed the time that passed when you were done. You also had not accounted for that much time outside, and did not use any kind of protection against the sun. And now here you are, back to the inn, looking at the mirror in the shower room, you noticed just how red your arms became.
Summer and sunburns are basically synonyms for you, you never liked the texture of most sun protectors, and even with those most of the time, your skin still ended up all red. However, it is not summer yet. You will still need to wear long sleeves for a while, which will just make everything worse.
You sigh and get your nightgowns from your room, looking over at your roommate and partner.
"The shower will have to be cold tonight. Do you still want to shower with me?"
Molly sits up on the bed and grabs his own nightgowns.
"Of course I do!"
After showering, Molly takes a good look at your arms.
"Ouch, you were really focused on your sketching, huh?"
"Yeah, those birds were beautiful. I just wish I would have had colors to bring them to life more. They're prettier with colors."
"Well, how about you show me what you drew?"
"Sure!!"
You take your sketchbook from the nightstand and open it to the pages you did, full of birds and flowers. Molly sits next to you, making sure your arms stay clear of contact.
"Those are really pretty, love. I can understand why you lost track of time. The details on this one are immaculate" they point to one of the bird heads.
"Yeah, I'm honestly surprised at how close I was able to get without scaring the bird!"
"I'm glad you had fun while the sun was cooking you. Now, you look exhausted." She press a gentle kiss to your forehead. "How about we call it a night?"
"I'm okay with that." You close your sketchbook and put it down on the nightstand. "Can we cuddle?"
"Always."
You quickly find a position that doesn't hurt your arms and snuggle up to each other. It doesn't take too long before you drift off to sleep. Your body may be way too sensitive to the sun, but at least you have the prettiest Tiefling loving you.

partially because it is genuinely hard for me to think about anyone actually loving me romantically IRL but I still crave a romantic relationship, partially because I want a romantic relationship so badly but I feel like it would be too much for me to handle with where I currently am so selfshipping is a way to get the best of both world and also just because it's fun and comforting and I can do a whole bunch of things I enjoy in their name. Basically it makes me happy, lol
