I don’t fr talk about music shit here, or anywhere publicly anymore but ima just vent. Since my lil “retirement” or whatever back in 2015/2016 I struggle with releasing anything.
I dropped 10 full length projects in 3 yrs now I can’t even release 1. My best music is in the vault forever.
I can’t release cohesive, polished, fully complete projects. That’s just not how I work. I like making what I’m feeling and releasing what I made as is. I was the type to make some shit and just put it on bandcamp or soundcloud or myspace or hulkshare or whatever.
DSP just don’t work like that, you gotta go through all these hoops to drop so I wait for shit to be complete but in my eyes it’s never done and then too much time passes and it’s old news and I’m over that style.
I’ve flirted with the idea of going back to bandcamp and throwing up rough drafts but idk. I hate how music became content.
