What gets me ready to critique?

Aside from expressing my nervousness to my friends in class, something that I do to get myself ready to critique is having something to hold in my hands, whether it’s a water bottle or even my sketchbook. When I am holding something I’m not worried about my hands shaking.

How long will the show go on? What is the name of the exhibition? Does the space themed poster relate to the work that will be featured in the show? Do the colors represent or symbolize anything? Will the show feature mainly digital art? Will the location of the exhibition relate to the art being shown? Would the art be read differently if it was displayed in a more modern museum?
