Simple premise: Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” slipped from 45 to 33 rpm. Nothing more; no studio trickery, no trip hop drum breaks. The guitar lopes back in and around itself. The bass becomes elastic, hot rubber. The violin stabs become sustained cello lines. ** Warning vomit inducing end of year post **

I was at home for Christmas for the first time in a decade! So much has changed in this time…. I’ve come to terms with my self (most of the time 🤔) and now have 4 nephews and 1 niece, more recently I’ve gone out as me to some events and trying to make this a more regular thing. I caved and came onto Instagram and discovered a whole new community and even was discovered by a friend who was totally cool about the whole thing 😁.

There were some downs too but let’s not bother with those other than saying congrats to Dad for staving off cancer like it was no big deal and here’s to getting an all clear for he next check up.

In short thanks Instagram people (and Instagram too) for being a part of my year and helping me along both knowingly and unknowingly and enjoy a picture of me and our Xmas tree! And here’s to 2019! 🤢🤮😁
