I watched the first few episodes, but as funny as it seems – I couldn’t really get into it. But, I agree. Some Netflix shows are definitely worth a try.

While some of you may enjoy Coachella this weekend or any other kind of event that you might participate in, Logan and I are going to plan a nice BBQ at our house. Near the huge swimming pool we’ve got, may I add~ So, if some of you feel like dropping by; it’s tomorrow. Just bring yourself, and I’m taking care of everything else.

I just binged watched Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt in two days and I LOVE IT! How in the world did I not know this show existed when it was released last year. Anyone who hasn’t seen it yet should, it’s hilarious. I’ve come to the conclusion Netflix shows are hell of a lot better then most shows on TV right now.

Hearing him say the cabin was close brought a grin to the Latina’s lips. Although the journey was fun and exciting, she was desperate to see the place for herself and to get settled in. Cassidy gazed out of the window in awe at the cabin as they pulled up, only half listening to his words. Snapping back into focus, she looked at him with a confused yet curious smile, waiting to hear what the surprise was. Leaping out of the car and helping her boyfriend with the bags, she continued to listened very intently, waiting on edge for the reveal. Her jaw dropped and a squeal rippled from her lips and seemed to echo across the lake. Without a moment’s pause, the brunette leapt onto her boyfriend, hugging him tightly, and repeatedly thanked him. “FREAKING HAWAII!” she yelled when she finally let him go. “But seriously, that sounds lovely. A spa day is perfect, it really is. It’s so me! The boy did good…” she said before pressing a gentle kiss upon his lips. “And the chance to proper get to know your brothers and their girlfriends would be wonderful, it really would…” she added, excited about the chance to bond with his family and to get to know the other girlfriends better. Looking around for a minute, Cassidy slowly began taking in the surroundings. “It’s beautiful here Nate…it’s like something from a movie.” she said, still in awe.

Nate laughed at how ecstatic she sounded when he mentioned them going to Hawaii. “I’m glad I did good then” he grinned, shaking his head. “I just hope if they do agree to this that it isn’t too dramatic. Sam, Josh and I haven’t lived under the same roof in so long that it might be a bit problematic” he chuckled. “Especially with Josh because sometimes he’s such a smart ass towards me”. Nate looked around taking in the beautiful scenery. She was right. It did indeed look like this was something from a movie. “Yeah...” he replied in awe. He leaned in pressing a soft kiss to her lips before going to the back and getting her their bags. “You do know this trip is only for like 3 days” he said, holding three of Cassidy’s suitcases in his hands and arms. “I only packed a carry on suitcase compared to your luggage” he teased, making his way up to the house and unlocking the door for her to go inside. “Look around” he smiled. “I’m going to go take these to the room”.

Everyone’s talking about Coachella this, or that – well, I definitely won’t be attending any of it. Actually, since some at the station are so eager to volunteer during those kind of events; I find myself with a free weekend. One that I shall enjoy immensely in front of Netflix with the girlfriend. 

You think you can beat that? Nope.

It’s Coachella dude. You need to get out once in a while. There’s a whole other world outside your apartment and work.

Don’t ever watch cake baking shows when home alone and bored unless you’re good at baking. Why? I thought it was a good idea to try and make one from scratch. I thought after watching several baking shows on Netflix I could do it. I thought wrong. I somehow managed to burn the outside while the inside is completely raw. From now on I’m sticking to premixes, bakeries or cake batter ice cream.

Don’t give up. Eventually you’ll get the hang of it. It was only your first time. My first few tries weren’t great at all but now I can bake a few homemade treats.

The news station has been on lockdown for the last hour and we’re finally getting the go ahead to leave…or stay if we’re still working. Apparently some homeless guy decided he wanted to run around the building naked with a knife.
