to begin again

This is definitely the last place Blaine thought he would be. Scandals? After all this time?

Though, he supposes, not everything has worked out like he thought it would. When he pictured his life, his future, he thought of a few things: NYADA, Kurt and New York. Turns out, none of those things had been so easy to capture in his hands. So he’s back in Ohio (he prays that it’s only temporary) until he figures everything out.

His mother is kind about him not exactly having a plan and while he knows he should really sit down and plan everything out...he’s at Scandals instead, hoping to make his problems disappear. At least for the night.

Blaine leans against the bar and waves down the bartender, a soft smile on his lips as he orders a beer. At least he can count on Scandals to never change...he needs a bit of normalcy right now.

Fed up || Raya and Zane

Raya grunted in frustration, things with her roommate were shit again. This was getting more difficult to ignore, to chalk up to just personal differences. Sure Raya knew that she wasn’t the most relaxed person in the world, but her roommate Emily’s constant need for parties, drinking, and general messiness were getting out of hand.

Needing to get out of her apartment for a bit, she took a walk across the hall to Zane’s and knocked, huffing as the door opened when she turned the handle. “You know how I feel about you leaving this open!” she commented as she let herself in locking it on the other side. She quickly surveyed the area, it was definitely cleaner then her place at the moment but there were dishes in the sink. She rolled up her sleeves and started washing, she needed to relax.

“Emily’s home talking incredibly loudly about moving out like I’m supposed to object or something! What am I objecting to? Not living in a pigsty? Who would object to that, that is preferred! I don’t understand, I don’t understand,” she mumbled the last bit to herself a few times before glaring over in the direction of Zane’s couch. “This would be the part where you said something you know?” Raya continued scrubbing the dishes, probably much more intensely than need be.

Realizing what she had just done, barging in on him she sighed, “Sorry I guess what I meant was...hi?” @kingkillmongerwrites

Meeting the Roommate | Ash & Ed

Moving to a new place was always nerve-wracking.  Especially a place filled with people you ay or may not know.  But here she was, having to share a room with someone, and she didn’t  even know the person.  After getting her key and making her way up to the third floor, Ashley stopped outside of room six and took a deep breath before unlocking the door and walking inside.  The room was gorgeous.  Way nicer than she had expected.  As she walked into the room, she put her luggage along the wall.  “Hello?” she called out, unsure if her new roommate was in the room or not. @westwardedwick

Wedding Weekend

Britt: Whereas their coffee date -- though maybe that's not quite the right word since Britt sort of felt like he was sitting down for an interview -- was all business, the drive out into the country feels like a vacation. An escape. Especially since Britt got rid of his vehicle when he moved out of the suburbs and into city proper. Parking was a hassle, and gas and car insurance was stupid expensive. But it's nice to be behind a wheel again, even if it is a rental, and it's nice to be looking forward to the weekend, even if it's a bit weird.

Because it is, right? Weird to be playing someone's boyfriend for a weekend, even if Britt mostly gets it. As an only child he's his mom's only hope when comes to grandkids, and she started laying hints when he was in his last serious relationship, so he understands the motivation. Abigail just wants to have a nice weekend and enjoy the family celebration without having to carry the weight of parental expectations. And Britt can do that. He can be that person that helps her have a good time and be a buffer. He can do this.

"Okay, so," Britt starts, turning down the volume of the classic rock station enough that doesn't feel like he's having to be heard over the Eagles song. They still had a bit of a drive to get to their final destination, so now felt like as good a time as any to review their story. "We met at one of Jason's parties." That's what they had decided on, because it was the truth, and keeping up the charade would be probably be easier if they could fall back on what wasn't made up. "I thought you were really pretty and was too intimidated to make the first move."

Wildest Nightmares | 001

For the longest time she had been able to put Afghanistan in the rear view mirror. Forget about everything. Bury herself in her work. Being in such a field of work like her managed to let her forget about everything she went through in Afghanistan from being kidnapped to being tortured repeatedly. For the longest time since she was rescued by her team and returned home to Los Angeles she was able to forget about it until the Department of Justice arrived to investigate Hetty of all people. Even then with their arrival there was more to it then that. Like always. With Hetty now safe and sound and not in any danger, the team had a little down time. Not something Kensi Blye loved. She loved working. Catching the bad guys. She loved the distraction from the trauma that was trying to remind her. Which was exactly what the agent from DOJ did. Remind her of what happened in Afghanistan. Now it was all that haunted her mind, reminded her. Not even Titanic her favorite movie ever could distract her, get her mind off of it.

She laid there on the couch that day, as she anxiously awaited her cell phone to ring to be called into work for an assignment. Her eyes staring up at the ceiling as Titanic played in the background. The scene where Jack sees Rose about jump overboard and end her life. She ran her fingers through her long brown locks as she sat up on the couch, chewing on her lips as she walked into the kitchen. Eyes gazing at all the takeout/delivery menus scattered on her kitchen counter. Reaching for her phone and she texted the one person who she knew would keep her distracted. “Chinese food. My treat. My place” she sent before she ordered food from the local chinese place. Always ordering a little too much then they needed but she loved left overs so it was all good.

You're My Best Friend || Rydison

Madison: had been about to burst with this surprise for too long. When Ryder had visited her for graduation it hadn't been official yet, and she didn't want to jinx it. And while she'd wanted to do /nothing/ but squeal with her best friend and celebrate when she got the official call, this moment was about to make up for it. Her plane had landed a few hours earlier and she'd been waiting at a cafe for his "I'm home" text. She called for an Uber the second she had it, telling him she was "almost home" herself.

The car dropped her off, and she got herself and her suitcase inside, grateful his apartment building hallways were neither incredibly distinct nor well lit. Madison was sure she'd be able to keep the act up until Ryder saw her at his door. She pressed the call button, looking at her own image before his was on the screen. "Hey! What's up TV star?"

Shake Me All Night Long | 001

Dylan stood at the window of the apartment as he watched his boyfriend Andrew drive away. He let out a breath as he then breathed in the cool crisp air as his eyes moved to the horizon watching as the sun set down over Beacon Heights. He stood there for a few moments taking in the view before he pushed the window close. Dylan glanced at his laptop and seen the time quickly reminding himself of the company - his friend, Nolan Hotchkiss who was going to be arriving any moment. He quickly gathered some of the clothes that were on the floor and tossed them into the laundry bin and tided up a few other things. Hearing a knock, Dylan called out that it was open as he continued tidying up some things before being greeted with his friend’ presence, a small smile playing on Dylan’ lips. “Andy, just left so we’ll have the place to ourselves. I’ll help you with you project and you can gimme a critique on my piece of music”.

Let’s Get Physical | Puckleberry

As she drove over to Noah’s place, Rachel was regretting this decision as each second passed. First she wasn’t that type of girl to just hook up with any guy and second Noah was just too much of a flirt with her - a player to say the least. The tension between her and Noah had been building up for so long that it was a surprise  she didn’t give in a long time ago. There was a little part of her though that wasn’t regretting giving into Noah. The tour had been crazy and there was part of her that just needed the itch scratched. And Noah was a hot guy who was more than willing to help her. It was a win really. Or was it?

Rachel pulled up to Noah’s place, her eyes locking on the building. She began questioning if she was crazy for doing this? Was he going to make her regret it by agreeing to this? At this point she didn’t really care, she just wanted him. She wanted Noah Puckerman of all people. Of all men. That kinda scared her. Dressed in a short red cocktail dress that stopped mid length she made her way up to the door, knocking softly. A small smirk playing over her lips.
