Nathaniel stood on the sand as he watched Ollie out in the surf. He wasnt surprised his kids had been good at it. Thankfully none if them had taken after Stella in that regard. The sound of giggling echoed through the air as Nathaniel looked over to his side to see a group of girls who were watching Ollie intensely giggling and gossiping. Nate smiled at himself shaking his head before crossing his arms. Even in another country his youngest son had his own fan girls.
“Those girls are annoying,” Mia said to her dad as she wrinkled her nose. She was sitting on a towel on the sand, getting ready to go into the water and join Ollie. “Can I tell them to go away?”
Nate chuckled looking down at Mia from where he was standing. “Let them have there fun.” He told her. “You should be greatful Adrian isnt here or it would be worse.” He pointed out. “Let Ollie have his moment.”
“How is watching him and giggling any fun?” Mia raised an eyebrow.
“There probably waiting for him to come out so they can talk to him. Plus girls always stand and giggle at guys. I had it happen to me all the time.” Nathaniel said rolling his eyes.
“And did you enjoy it?” Mia teased him.
“At times. Especially if it was your mother doing it.” He smirked.
“Gross,” Mia scowled.
Nate gave out a hearty laugh at that. “To be fair it was rare she did do it until we started dating. Your mother hated it though when other girls would do it in her presents.”
“I can see her trying to mark her territory,” Mia rolled her eyes.
“Your Mum is very territorial and down right terrifying when she gets like that.” Nate shuddered
“But she’s so small, so how bad could it be?” Mia laughed.
Nate looked at her. “Do not under estimate your mothers size. She knows how to get me down on the floor using force. You forget she was once trained to be an agent.”
“So weird,” Mia replied. She couldn’t even imagine it.
“You should ask for a training session.” Nate laughed
“I wouldn’t want to embarrass her,” Mia chuckled.
“You really underestimate your mother.” He responded with a twinkle in his eye. Nathaniel had every intention of pointing that out to Stella because he had no doubt she would want to prove her kids she was a badass.
“I don’t underestimate her, I just can’t take her seriously,” Mia pointed out.
“Why is that?” Nate chuckled.
Mia gave her dad a look. “She is very unthreatening.”
Nate barked with laughter at that. “Clearly have never seen how aggressive she is when women try and hit on me.”
“You’re my dad, I don’t want to think about not see that,” Mia pointed out.
“Fair point.” Nate laughed.
“You’re an old man now,” Mia teased.
“I am not that old.” Nathaniel pointed out. “Unlike you grandpa.” He smirked
“Grandpa is special,” Mia replied with a scoff.
All Nate could do was smile at that comment.
Mia looked back at Ollie in the surf. “I think he’s staying out there to avoid the girls when he comes back in,” she smirked.
“Or maybe he just likes it out there.” Nate pointed out.
“I should go in and join him,” Mia said after a moment as she watched the waves.
“If you want to I wont stop you.” He told Mia with a smile.
“Good,” Mia chuckled as she moved to grab her board.
“Go have some fun and I will watch you from here.” Nathaniel nodded towards the sea.
“Okay, old man,” Mia teased as she headed towards the water.
Nathaniel scowled at her. “Just remember who gives you an allowance and it can be docked at any time.” He told her with a look.
Mia just laughed at that as she waved at him and ran into the water to catch up to Ollie.
Nate just shook his head and watched the two of them
Once they were done surfing, Mia dried off with a towel and looked at her dad. “You didn’t join in,” she said to him with a grin.
“I had my surf when you were all asleep.” Nate pointed out. “Shall we go get greasy food?” He asked “Or would we rather a barbaque for lunch?”
“Greasy food,” Ollie replied excitedly.
Nate chuckled at that. “Mia?” He asked watching her.
“Greasy food,” Mia agreed with a grin.
“Greasy food it is.” Nathaniel told them before moving to walk back to the car. “Shall we restaurant and call your mother and siblings to come or just grab take out?”
“Lets get everyone together,” Mia decided.
Nathaniel nodded pulling out his phone and texting Stella were they were going before unlocking the car.
Mia excitedly got into the car excitedly.
Nate got into the car. “So those girls say anything to you Ollie?” He asked with a smirk.
Ollie blushed at that. “Maybe,” he mumbled.
“Not going to share what they say?” Nate asked watching him blush
