Elise rolled her eyes, smiling at him. “Maybe, but who could get tense around you? You two look so awkward together it’s almost cringeworthy. I promise this is the last blind date I set you up on with a random stranger. ” She obviously couldn’t play matchmaker, but it was fun while it lasted. Elise looked over her shoulder to see his date coming back from the bathroom. “If she’s not a keeper then, stay until after my shift is done.”
He shook his head, a smile still on his lips. “It happens,” he said with a shrug of his shoulders. This was only one of countless blind dates he had been on in the past couple of months. He was definitely growing tired of meeting these women. While all of them were perfectly fine, they just weren’t his type. “Don’t count me out yet, she might just turn out to be the love of my life,” he teased with a wink before returning to his original sitting position.
