Earlier this year, I got the opportunity to photograph for GROUPER. Grouper is a social club that pairs three guys (or girls) with three girls (or guys) etc. for a group blind date. I had shot their corporate headshots earlier in the season so they reached out to me to work with them again. The company had previously done a shoot the year before where they had set up a date with models/actors in an attempt to create promotional materials but it didn't work out the way they wanted. Instead, they decided to send me and a GROUPER concierge around NYC and photograph actual groupers. These are real people on real grouper dates. Special thanks to alcohol for making people more relaxed while getting their photo taken.

i recently had the opportunity to do some branding and design work for the newly opened driftstudionyc. as part of the opening, i was commissioned to do an art piece as a backdrop for the photobooth.

ever since my friend dana tanamachi made chalk art mainstream, i've enjoyed working with the medium and also gaining some inspiration from her work.
