someone said something along these lines already but really thank you so much for keeping this blog going in 2020. i got tickets for the tour but if i never followed you probably at some point in the early/mid 2010s i NEVER would have known this was happening haha. thank you for keeping us in the know it means a ton đź’žđź’žđź’ž

Sam Means interview on The Format reunion! Asked about new music, he said: “I would love to do music, but as of now we’re just about these shows.” He also said they weren’t planning a larger tour.Â

Absolutely crying at your posts I had no idea Nate was "back" doing music and shows even if it's not long term thank you for updating . It felt like for a long time he hadn't done much , I totally have no idea what's happened since his solo album came out.
It’s so exciting!! Since his solo album he got married and had two kids and basically retreated from the public eye, so you didn’t miss much. He has been writing music behind the scenes- the Dr. Seuss musical and songs for other artists (especially this past year, he’s written for Pink, Kesha, Halsey and more). Hopefully we get to hear the musical and theres new music in the future.
Please revive your Twitter account even if it's just sharing your Tumblr posts coz I had no idea about the format returning. Nate fans need you lol
Tbh, I stopped using twitter because I think it’s a toxic place and some fun. fans (not all but the more vocal ones) there feed off negativity and competition. Maybe I’ll reactivate in the future but at the moment I don’t want to deal with that again. I will keep posting here (tumblr is a much nicer place in my experience), and another good place to go for big news is chorus.fm, both the news page and the discussion forums. And thank you for the kind words!

The Format is holding a Live at the Mayan viewing party tonight in Phoenix to celebrate the video’s release on streaming platforms. There are rumors (from the folks at chorus.fm) that they may play a reunion show at the party, and/or announce a reunion tour. Stay tuned!
